10 Tib Lane has been on my list for some time, due to the great reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Food was superb - intriguing, inspired dishes, all a bit different, really flavoursome. It’s a sharing plate concept, mainly small plates, alongside a half handful of larger ones. The menu for both food and drink is concise, the wine list, not run of the mill. Service was personal and really friendly. The restaurant is set across 2 floors (plus what looked like a private dining room on the 3rd floor). It's cosy, intimate, lowly lit and retro. Loved it.

Used them twice on Uber Eats, every time there was an issue. First time they sent one breakfast when I'd paid for two. Second time they waited 30 mins then cancelled my order. Don't recommend.

Overall nice experience but please be wary, I paid an additional £100 for bits like room services, mini bar, however didn’t use anything, the money wasn’t returned, I chased them after two weeks once I realised and they had simply “forgot” I now have to wait a further 5 days for the money to be returned. Not good enough really. I wonder how often they simply forget to return deposits to people and people don’t notice.

1/5 Overall 1/5 for ambience. Dining area’s cleanness not matching up to this pricing. Flyings are everywhere 1/5 for service 4/5 for food: portion overall could be improved / beef veal taste is not good: too sour. Else are fine 1/5 for mocktails. Overpriced for food/service and dining environment. For this price you can really get happier experiences and better food elsewhere.

Came with a friend for an evening meal. After seeing much online about this restaurant we were excited to attend. It was very quiet for a Friday night - the booking system on their website was a little peculiar as it didn't let me book until around a week before the date, before this it appeared as if it was all booked up. When we walked in the staff were friendly and chatty and this great service continued throughout the evening. We saw the focaccia being prepared as we walked past which looked delicious. The food choice was limited, but what we did have was delicious - the panisse was a particular stand out. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and a lovely evening overall.

A visit to Didsbury on Sunday led to an impromptu visit to The Didsbury for some lunch. As it was Sunday my wife and I both opted for the roast option. Unfortunately it was far from Satisfactory. The plate was engulfed with a yorkshire pudding of epic scale whose texture was more like a meringue. The 'goose fat roasted potatoes' were virtually dessicated and tasted weird. The stuffing required an angle grinder to divide it into manageable chunks. The 'pig in blanket' was more a 'hippo in a hankerchief' (large sausage in the teeniest bit of bacon)... The turkey and gravy were fine though... We were offered some minted new potatoes to make up for the poor meal.. We declined.. This was our first post pandemic sojourn to a 'restaurant'.... I thought places were meant to be making an effort to win us back!!!

Food was good , Security guard was giving off creepy vibes to us , wouldn’t let our friend in the toilet even though she was a customer , very weird about the toilet and caught him staring at girls , please be careful , repeatedly refused to show SIA badge and hid it away , possibly be working illegally as security? , taking it up with SIA for further (photo was taken on public street)
