Perfect location - clean room with a comfy bed. Staff were super friendly and even gave me a complementary drink on check in. Definitely a good place to stay in central Manchester.

The worst experience ever!! The rooms was without air conditioning!! And their solution was offering a small fan!! And without telephone to contact

Ian and Cheryl couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. I asked for a quiet room and he kindly changed my booking to look for the quietest one. Despite being central, it was quiet. Bath, Earl Grey tea in the room, very clean, huge choice for breakfast.

The location of the hotels is excellent on the main street. I would like to thank Ademole for the hospitality. He was friendly.

My Comment is for breakfast. Really good athmosphere in theriomorphic. The choice of food, was exzellent and the stuff had found the perfect way between being friendly and attentive and being reserved.

Rooms are pretty bog standard for a hotel so no complaints, just wished the windows sealed shut to keep the noise out from picadilly gardens. the staff were great though, especially Rose. She was really lovely and put a smile on everyone’s face

Popped in here for lunch and a drink for a meeting and I was so nicely surprised at what a great place it was for a get together. We were looked after by Rose who looked after us really well, such a lovely person and fabulous service. Will definitely be back for future meetings.

Stay was not too bad, hotel felt tired, decor in the bathroom was not great, painted tiles with loads areas over painted on to fittings and fixtures. Mirror in bathroom the backing was peeling all around the edges. Windows really old and not sound proof in anyway, noisy. Expected better for a premium price. Bed was comfy, location was really good short walk to almost everything.

Where do I start from rukhsana her service was outstanding, amazing and very professional she was very helpful in guiding me about all the answer I needed was very helpful, naim and zohaib was also very helpful

After a 4 hour drive, I turned up to amazing service by Naim and Ruksana, getting us checked in quickly and making sure we have everything we need. Amazing location close to the centre. Had a really good night sleep in one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in in a while. Can't wait to stay again!

The friendly staff (Rukhsana & Naim) went above and beyond, making sure we were well taken care of, including finding us out milk for our tea! When phoning before we arrived the staff were very helpful with information about exactly where we can park. Lovely room with very comfortable beds, I will definitely be back for my next visit.

After an absolute nightmare with regards to a gig being cancelled Ian, Alex and the team at The Mercure were legendary in cancelling my booking and refunding me. Efficient, professional and going above and beyond to help out. We're gutted we had to cancel this visit but we will most definitely be booking at this hotel for any future visit to Manchester! Thank you so much guys!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were lovely especially Raj, Raisa and Ian. The rooms were lovely and had great views. Its location is great only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Customer service was excellent. Amazing experience all around

I was here on a work trip with too faced cosmetics and i cant begin to express the amazing customer service and care that me and my friend and all the girls received. This truly had to be one of the best hotels I've ever visited in my life the customer service particularly from Raisa, lan and Raj was absolutely exceptional and the best of the best. Thank you guys I’ll be back !!!

Rooms are definitely a bit tired, but spotlessly clean and bed is comfortable. Location is great, within easy walking distance from Manchester Piccadilly. Service is excellent. As a woman travelling alone with work, I was warmly welcomed to a solo dinner by Raj, great food and very well looked after, really pleasant experience. I’m here for a couple of nights and pleased I’m in this hotel.

Expected a lot more from a “4 star hotel”. Rooms were unsatisfactory, outdated and the pillows were really hard. Weird stains on the walls, bought cleaning wipes just incase and the sink was dirty. The TV didn’t connect properly and when it did connect it only worked for 20 minutes and then turned off. The reception looks nice which im guessing is where they put their money into. Didn’t feel safe because the lift worked regardless if you put your card in or not. I don’t understand all the 4/5 star reviews, feels like a different hotel than what they say. The price should be lower, only plus is that its in the centre of the city. Also why do all of the good reviews have names of staff mentioned? There was another review from someone who also mentioned this, an employee asked the customer to leave them a good review before serving them????

Lovely hotel I always use it and a lovely warm welcome - Cheryl is fantastic!

From moment we arrived to checkout we've been well looked after. Impromptu night away after plans were changed and it's been a fantastic time. Ian Vanessa and Alex made sure we were checked in and gave us tips on where to go locally for our night out and made sure our rooms were perfect. Then Zohaib and Ademol made sure we had everything we needed as we stumbled back in the early hours. Room was spotless and a great view of the city and breakfast has a brilliant view too. Great stay in the centre of Manchester with secure parking.

Wonderful location, great service the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was top draw, really good buffet. My only grip was we asked for twin room and it was really a double. Could have done with an exhaust fan in the bathroom as my mates real stinky. Top location.

We had quite a stressful journey getting to Manchester so it was wonderful to have the welcome we received from the reception staff at the hotel. Deep, Darryn and Cheryl made us feel like VIP’s on our arrival. I have stayed in a few Mercure hotels now and have always been impressed, but can honestly say this welcome was above and beyond. We were very pleased with our suites. Plenty of room, very clean and comfortable. An excellent selection of teas and coffees with plenty of milk sachets and complimentary bottles of spring water. The bar is excellent with lots of room and a great venue for watching the England quarter final game. The atmosphere made even better by the people attending an event in the function room. I didn’t catch the names of the bar staff, but as seemed to be a theme in the hotel, they were extremely friendly and provided drinks table service. Breakfast was of a good standard and Abbie, Rose and Maisie were all on hand if we needed anything. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the shops and bars of Manchester and it will definitely be our go to hotel when we visit again.

Good hotel in a great location. I couldn’t fault the staff or the service and the food was great - hot and tasty. The rooms let the place down though. They are tired and I found the room to be noisy at night with the trams running outside so didn’t get much sleep.
