The Brasserie @ Mercure hotel Piccadilly Manchester in Manchester

Reception staff were very understanding, helpful and professional. However the house keeping wasn’t good at all. I originally changed rooms due to a broken bed… but not only did that toilet have skid marks in it but the next one had faeces in it along with an unhygienic toilet seat. Hair in the bed. The care into the presentation of the room hallways and rooms is poor too. Despite how nicely the main floors are (restaurant/carpark entrance/reception)

Small room with a small bed. Big stains on the carpet. Mold and moisture between the windows. No soundproofing in the windows and doors. Big TV and a working shower.

Room was clean and tidy. Facilities were good. But WiFi was terrible. Could only get Internet via WiFi in or very close to reception. There was no WiFi available in the 8th floor where my room was located. I reported this issue to reception on the 1st day, but nothing seemed to be done about it all weekend, as it never changed.

Lovely hotel - well located and delightful, friendly & helpful staff.

Location was brilliant close to everywhere and staff lovely especially Rose on the bar so sweet and kind and also Thomas who was great with recommendations

Overall, a disappointing stay. Location is extremely central which makes getting around simple. The downside is a lot of noise from the surrounding areas. The team on reception were welcoming and I can't fault them. The room and facilities are why my review is average. Basic and outdated. It felt fairly clean but there were marks on the wall. I tried working but the WiFi was so slow that I had to hotspot and decided to give up. Not the worst place but the Mercure is in real need of some TLC.

Lovely welcome at reception. Rooms ready and our party was checked in quickly by Rebecca, Olivia and Sophia. Fab foyer.

Great location in city centre close to main railway station. Room on 12th floor with a great view of the city. Room was a good size down the corridor so far enough away from the lifts to be nice and peaceful. Ensuite a good size but terrible leaking of water when showering. Breakfast included, typical Hotel buffet, food could have been warmer. Check in & Check out efficient.

Lovely experience!! had an amazing time at the level 3 at the mercure hotel, the staff were super friendly and the bar services were amazing. Especially heather as she was very polite towards all members of the party and allowed us all to have an amazing time!!, would definitely go again

Rooms are decent, location is in the city center but wifi at the property doesn't work. Asked the help to fix it but not response.

I went recently for a business meeting in the bar. The atmosphere was great and service eas excellent. Raymond was really kind and conscientious

No hassle stay supported by professional staff from check in to exit Check in was so smooth young lady at 1500 was professional gave me the local information i needed and no delays - none of that nonsense of not being able to find booking etc. Room was slightly dated and shower was fixed slightly low for anyone over 5'10 but very clean with a bottle of water in the fridge Special call out to the breakfast team Fahia, Ben and Abby - helpful attentive and actually a hotel breakfast that is worth the cost and effort. Some of my recent reviews on Le Accor chain have rightly been less than positive but this hotel should be the standard - please pass my thanks onto the entire team for an enjoyable hassle and stress free stay

Location is great, but the hotel and rooms need to be updated. It's all looking tired generally. The room was clean but lots of wear and tear. The bed was not very comfortable either sadly. Was a two night stay so not too bad, but will look for another hotel next time I stay in Manchester
