Came with a friend for an evening meal. After seeing much online about this restaurant we were excited to attend. It was very quiet for a Friday night - the booking system on their website was a little peculiar as it didn't let me book until around a week before the date, before this it appeared as if it was all booked up. When we walked in the staff were friendly and chatty and this great service continued throughout the evening. We saw the focaccia being prepared as we walked past which looked delicious. The food choice was limited, but what we did have was delicious - the panisse was a particular stand out. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and a lovely evening overall.

Went as a group of four for a birthday meal on Saturday 11th June. Greeted at door by super friendly staff and as you are led into the restaurant everyone working in the kitchen says hi as you walk by which I thought was great. Food was lovely as was the wine and the staff great. Not sure why anyone posts negative reviews about portions as they are fine in fact the starter salads are colossal. Great experience and will definitely be back. Thank you.

I am still in shock at how terrible our meal was, it was beyond a parody of cuisine. Don’t waste your money, lamb Ragu is a huge bowl of fettuccine with slivers of what smelt and tasted like the cheapest meat you could possibly buy, there was nothing else in the pasta and no sauce. The vegetarian option, although tasting of a slight lemony ricotta sauce, it encompasssed one, literally one spear of asparagus, the stalk chopped and the little head lost in another mountain of fettuccine. Chicken liver crostini, foolishly I assumed this would be some sort of pate, how foolish, it is a mound of chopped chicken liver on the hardest crostini I’ve ever attempted to bite, it looked like the vomit of my dog after he’s scoffed his food too quickly. Pudding of pavlova, well it wasn’t pavlova it was a bizarre meringue bombe that bore no resemblance to pavlova. By a country mile, the worst meal I’ve ever had, I’m still seething that I actually paid over £65 no alcohol for this travesty. Don’t bother

The interior of the restaurant is very interesting, with plants trailed all around the ceiling and walls. Small portions for what you pay for. Small pot of olives as a side. Small plate of pasta for main. Pasta was very tasty, but needed to be at least 50% bigger in portion size. One choice of desert which we needed as we’re still hungry after starter and main, again tasted nice (pastry was over cooked and tough), but small portion again. Nice choice of wine. Overall, tasty food, but left feeling hungry.

Sadly disappointed. We came on a Sunday and had the "set menu" The starters were tasty as was the salad with beetroot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However the lasagna.....yikes. Literally just a slab of pasta and meat. Barely seasoned, very dry, no discernible Ragu sauce or besciamella. Just.....sad. And the dessert wasn't much better really. I had tiramisu which was a plate with one sad coffee dipped sponge finger splattered with a completely loose ladle full of cream. I wish I'd taken a picture of it. It was like it knew it SHOULD be a tiramisu but couldn't quite be bothered. We joked that maybe the kitchen had run out of ingredients for the mains and dessert, because if I'd served that to my Nonna without a very good excuse, she'd have scolded me all the way back to Sicily. Considering the price, this was just...yeah, disappointing. Will not be returning.

First time visit to the new Campagna edition of the Creameries. Really enjoyed it - friendly service, and the short menu is now mostly Italian in style. Every dish was beautifully executed, and good value. Bottled wine pricey, but they also have "on tap" options which are good quality and are reasonably priced. Dinner for 2 (2 courses, 1 shared dessert, 750ml wine) worked out around £75. Will be back!

So I am a resident of Chorlton, and have been to The Creameries before when it was under its previous, pre Campagna guise, under Mary-Ellen McTague. I was excited to try this new Italian take on the neighbourhood bistro by Mike Thomas. The PR and photos of the new menu items looked great. We booked in for the Sunday menu. They market this as £30 for "3 courses". It's not. It's £30 for 2 courses. Everything was fine with the booking, and the staff were helpful. Everything was fine at the restaurant when we arrived, and we were seated by the front door / window. Fine, but guys please get that door fixed, as we had to keep getting up to close it properly. Very annoying. The staff were friendly and nice, especially the dark haired waitress, whose name I didn't catch. Sadly the let down is the food. Firstly, it's a complete rip-off for the Sunday menu. It's £30 basically for this: - 1 warmed up, not even fresh from the oven, piece of foccacia. It's just ok. Not the best. We had to ask for oil. - A small bowl of olives, ladled by the kitchen from a giant plastic tub from a wholesaler sitting on the side in full view. Not even fresh / artisan olives. Are you having a laugh guys? Come on. - An average size slab of lasagne. Nice warm plates, but not freshly baked or hot from the oven. Again, just ok. Clearly made before and warmed up. An Italian I was with said it had a whiff of the school dinner about it, which I would agree with. Slightly anaemic recipe, not super punchy or rich. Tasty, but not mind-blowing. This would be fine if it wasn't for the cost. It's accompanied by a small salad of radicchio and beets, which was nice to be fair. - A fairly small portion of tiramisu. This was great to be fair. Tasty. No coffee. No drinks included. Just water. Wine starts at £30+ per bottle. My issue is not the food as such, which was just ok. Not the best lasagne, tiramisu or focaccia, but the price. £30 for a few lousy old olives from a tub, some tough bread, a reheated slab of lasagne and a slop of tiramisu? No. It's a bit of a joke tbh. If you added in a starter say of a nice salad or some meats / cheeses / antipasti, then it would be more palatable. Our bill came to £125 for 3, with a bottle of wine and a beer. As it is, it is sadly as this placed has always been from the beginning. Overpriced and underwhelming.

This place has just relaunched, I hadn’t been to previous incarnation, but I had heard excellent things, so was looking forward to it. We had Panisse to start, which was very nice. For the main we opted for the ragu with pappardelle. The pasta was very overcooked and came scattered with bits of dry beef, no sauce to speak of. Frankly I’m amazed how such a simple dish can be so badly executed. If you are going to offer such a small menu, everything needs to be almost perfectly executed. The staff were all very nice and there was a decent ambiance so I hope they get a grip of the food. It’s early days so it might just be teething problems.

Very very good experience from start to finish. The service was excellent. The waiting staff who delivered our food were able to answer technical questions on the preparation and method of creating the dishes, and it was clear they cared about what they were serving. The chefs put a lot of work into the dishes and were having fun in the kitchen. Each course was absolutely delicious. Highlights for me were the split pea chips and the duck. Wines were terrific, and just an overall amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Dinner tasting menu in October for a group of 6. The restaurant seems to be trying to be similar to a lot of Michelin star tasting menu restaurants, with a unique seasonal menu focused on the ingredients and special flavour combinations. Perhaps it’s on the way there, but at the moment a lot of the dishes were not up to par. Nice ideas and nice flavours, but so many were too salty or too rich and it wasn’t possible to properly appreciate the dish. After many of the dishes your mouth was almost in pain from the richness/saltiness. It’s nice to have maybe one bite like that in one course, but not several courses. This might have just been this one menu, and perhaps it’s better at different times of the year, but some of the dishes just weren’t well balanced. Considering the quality it aims to present, it was a let down.

Four-course half-term lunch today at The Creameries was excellent. Naturally, it’s all so achingly on-trend, from the eclectic decor (I grew up with both the 1980s chairs and gran’s vintage cutlery) to the pertly and intelligently attentive servers. You already know the story about the emphasis on veg, seasonality and locality. Let’s get one thing out the way first, though, about previous comments on small portions. My companion was my normally hollow-limbed 16 year old son and even he struggled to finish everything (and he liked it all, just maybe not the squash/cheese soup too much). I would normally be glutton-ish and have ordered the “extra” cheese option at the end, but I felt what was offered within the set menu was going to be more than sufficient, as indeed it was, a very nice piece of Winchester, I think. I’d had 1.5 quite copious bowls of soup, anyway. This is part of the point in this restaurant, I believe. If you want to come out feeling gut-bustingly stuffed - feeling that’s value for money while heading straight for the nearest sofa - then this is probably not the place for you. We felt we were carefully and considerately nourished, which is a completely different thing, even if at times I wanted a whole lot more of some of the delicious courses. The stand-out for us both was undoubtedly the slow-cooked rabbit two ways with superbly and simply paired cavalo-nero and various derivative reductions. This was perfectly proportioned and tasted of much, much care. A very small amount of meat expertly cooked is all that was necessary on this menu. The split-pea fritters starter deservedly take their place as a signature dish, certainly one to try at home! Sourdough and butter(s) were great accompaniments. Everything else was spot-on really and fused into a perfectly presented and combined meal. For £30 this was terrific value. Drinks were rather expensive I felt but I’m not really complaining. Glad I didn’t have coffee though, as the cups/mugs/beakers just looked too much like dodgy 1970s pottery - a retro step too far. Can’t wait to go back.

The restaurant itself is understated with a really relaxed ambiance, the service was unpretentious slick and friendly and the food was just fantastic a tasting menu that was outstanding and very delicious with truly locally sourced ingredients, that changes weekly. We went for the 30 pound lunch deal after seeing lots of positive reviews, however we found the meal disappointing. Starter of sourdough was nice, however the raw radishes on the plate were very random and could have been cleaned better, would preferred the bread without them. Second dish of beetroot and courgette was nice, although we the flavoured oil had little taste so the dish just felt like elements on the plate with nothing brining it together. The whey fennel main was lovely, but the potatoes were slightly undercooked and neither crispy nor flurry. My partner had the pigeon breast with roasting juices which sounded promising, but we were surprised by the lack of food. There was about a teaspoon of sauce on the plate with 3 small potatoes undercooked potatoes and three small slices of pigeon. Had the trifle and cheese for dessert which were nice but not outstanding. Some elements of the food were good but others were average. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice, however the biggest issue is the tiny portion sizes. The quality of the food and tiny portions are not worth the 60 pound bill and we were left dissatisfied with the meal

Came here after a recommendation and good reviews. Disappointed to waste over 3 hours on sub standard food. Limited non alcoholic options. I know that if you're drinking alcohol then the time would fly by. Waited over 40 minutes for one dish, to be then presented with a plate of cold, sliced tomatoes. I've been to tasting menus before and so expected small portions, but these took the biscuit. Not impressed by the extra charge for the cheese section. Seating was poor, which gave both me and my husband back ache. Strong smell of weed towards the end of the night, no idea where this was coming from!

We had an impromptu dinner here recently and overall it was very good. The genuine friendliness and service were very good…. Room decor/ambience spot on…cool/casual feel. Set menu was good using lots of fresh ingredients… a couple of courses missed the mark a little but that could be personal taste. Pannacotta pudding was sensational. Only gripes/room for improvement would be… -no sparkling water available -could do with bigger choice of non alcoholic options -Sparkling wine choice very pricey… cheapest bottle is £60 which is ridiculously expensive for the quality on offer…. -would have liked a proper fish course But overall a very nice neighbourhood restaurant… good service and not much to not like.

We had a wonderful meal at The Creameries last night. The 5-course evening meal was stunning, and at £35 a real bargain. They mostly use inexpensive ingredients to keep the price down, but there is no compromise on flavour. The pheasant (both breast and thigh meat) for the 4th course was exemplary. Literally everything we ate was superb, even the home-made sourdough, which gives Pollen bakery a run for its money. Staff were so friendly, immediately asking how they could help. The coffee was amazing!!! Decor was nice and vibrant, lots of plants. I didn't try the food, but saw the kitchens, the prep and smelled the results, I'm very excited to go back for it. A great place for a coffee in any situation

Incredible food, wonderful service. The decor is awesome with live planting on the walls and hanging above you. Much bigger than you’d think from the front. Menu was slightly confusing and we ended up ordering too much food…

An awesome spot for jazz, wine and cake! Great vibes and atmosphere, with a distinctive wine selection. The staff were lovely and gave us a free almond and apricot brioche that was sinful in a good way! Cannot wait to go back for full on meal!

The food is ethically sourced (oysters, clams and goat ham were the only meats on the menu this week) and beautifully presented with lots of choice. Excellent value too, my potato and beetroot salad was £7 and all together I paid £18 for a "snack", the salad, wine, cake and tip. Next time I'll try a cheese or two, they have a good selection and our waiter was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Food here is amazing, they cater for so many dietary requirements. The staff are really friendly, they gave me recommendations and they were great ones. Inside is decorated with plants, giving it a light and casual feel, whilst still being a classy place. Apparently the menu changes daily to keep things fresh, I just wish it was a little bit cheaper so I could afford to eat there more! It is definitely worth it cost wise for the incredible food, great service and super friendly atmosphere.

Lovely place in Chorlton serving delicious fresh food and drinks. They have a lovely selection of cakes everyday and serve lunch 12-2. Food is very high quality and the price quite reasonable. They have outdoor seating on long benches which I love.

We have just had our staff Christmas Party at Malmaison and it was a HUGE success. Big thanks go to all the staff that made sure the night went smoothly. James the DJ was great too, and got everyone up dancing. So many positive comments about the location, food, room, DJ. Great fun was had by all.

Our experience was exceptional from beginning to end - from the great cocktails to the starters (don’t miss the lobster soup!) and outstanding main courses. Our chef came by in this intimate setting and made the night extra special. We’re visiting Manchester, but will return to 63 Degrees any time we’re here.

Used them twice on Uber Eats, every time there was an issue. First time they sent one breakfast when I'd paid for two. Second time they waited 30 mins then cancelled my order. Don't recommend.

A visit to Didsbury on Sunday led to an impromptu visit to The Didsbury for some lunch. As it was Sunday my wife and I both opted for the roast option. Unfortunately it was far from Satisfactory. The plate was engulfed with a yorkshire pudding of epic scale whose texture was more like a meringue. The 'goose fat roasted potatoes' were virtually dessicated and tasted weird. The stuffing required an angle grinder to divide it into manageable chunks. The 'pig in blanket' was more a 'hippo in a hankerchief' (large sausage in the teeniest bit of bacon)... The turkey and gravy were fine though... We were offered some minted new potatoes to make up for the poor meal.. We declined.. This was our first post pandemic sojourn to a 'restaurant'.... I thought places were meant to be making an effort to win us back!!!

A quiet restaurant inside Selfridge. We entered without a reservation, and frankly, the employee Marina from Cyprus impressed me with the way she described the dishes. She was wonderful and explained with love and enthusiasm my eagerness to eat, and she really deserves appreciation❤️
