10 Tib Lane has been on my list for some time, due to the great reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Food was superb - intriguing, inspired dishes, all a bit different, really flavoursome. It’s a sharing plate concept, mainly small plates, alongside a half handful of larger ones. The menu for both food and drink is concise, the wine list, not run of the mill. Service was personal and really friendly. The restaurant is set across 2 floors (plus what looked like a private dining room on the 3rd floor). It's cosy, intimate, lowly lit and retro. Loved it.

Used them twice on Uber Eats, every time there was an issue. First time they sent one breakfast when I'd paid for two. Second time they waited 30 mins then cancelled my order. Don't recommend.

Came with a friend for an evening meal. After seeing much online about this restaurant we were excited to attend. It was very quiet for a Friday night - the booking system on their website was a little peculiar as it didn't let me book until around a week before the date, before this it appeared as if it was all booked up. When we walked in the staff were friendly and chatty and this great service continued throughout the evening. We saw the focaccia being prepared as we walked past which looked delicious. The food choice was limited, but what we did have was delicious - the panisse was a particular stand out. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and a lovely evening overall.

We have just had our staff Christmas Party at Malmaison and it was a HUGE success. Big thanks go to all the staff that made sure the night went smoothly. James the DJ was great too, and got everyone up dancing. So many positive comments about the location, food, room, DJ. Great fun was had by all.

Our experience was exceptional from beginning to end - from the great cocktails to the starters (don’t miss the lobster soup!) and outstanding main courses. Our chef came by in this intimate setting and made the night extra special. We’re visiting Manchester, but will return to 63 Degrees any time we’re here.

A visit to Didsbury on Sunday led to an impromptu visit to The Didsbury for some lunch. As it was Sunday my wife and I both opted for the roast option. Unfortunately it was far from Satisfactory. The plate was engulfed with a yorkshire pudding of epic scale whose texture was more like a meringue. The 'goose fat roasted potatoes' were virtually dessicated and tasted weird. The stuffing required an angle grinder to divide it into manageable chunks. The 'pig in blanket' was more a 'hippo in a hankerchief' (large sausage in the teeniest bit of bacon)... The turkey and gravy were fine though... We were offered some minted new potatoes to make up for the poor meal.. We declined.. This was our first post pandemic sojourn to a 'restaurant'.... I thought places were meant to be making an effort to win us back!!!

Mercure Hotel is within walking distance of Manchester Piccadilly. I stayed at this hotel for two days for a business trip. Unfortunately, I experienced an issue with my room's heating and hot water, which remained unresolved despite informing reception on the first day. While the staff may have had challenges, given the range of hotel options available in the area, I will likely choose a different one! Sorry not coming back.

A quiet restaurant inside Selfridge. We entered without a reservation, and frankly, the employee Marina from Cyprus impressed me with the way she described the dishes. She was wonderful and explained with love and enthusiasm my eagerness to eat, and she really deserves appreciation❤️
