Great wee shop and petrol station. We filled up with ÂŁ20.00 OF diesel, the maximum allowed. It has outside seating. Great wee shop with the obvious needs covered. We made a donation to the food bank as well. A few welsh language magazines were for sale. Postcards and newspapers. Very friendly place and obviously a mainstay of the community.

The other chippy near to Tesco gets mad busy, so go to this one for faster service as it is on the edge of town and far less hectic.

Cracking fish & chips, we ate in and staff were welcoming and friendly. Ordered at counter then had table service. Big portions, lovely crispy batter and chips perfect, not pale, nice and golden. Not too greasy. Sausages are huge! We parked at Poundland. We will return and recommend. đź‘Ś

Absolutely terrible. On arrival we noticed how the hot counter was filled with food, all looking like they’d been cooked hours ago and yet we were the only customers in the shop at approximately 2pm. We decided to order 1x fish & chips and 1x sausage and chips. The chips were very pale in colour, so soggy that they were stuck together, warmish and clearly had been sitting there for quite a while. The sausage was nearly inedible, our daughter complained that it was very hard to chew and this again had clearly been cooked a while prior to our visit as it was dry. The fish was ok once it had been removed from the thick and soggy inside batter. Can honestly say it’s the worst chippy I’ve ever been to. We gave them the benefit of the doubt when we could see the chips being put in the tray but honestly, we should have cancelled our order and gone somewhere else. Don’t waste your money.
