I had chicken curry half/half amazing value for a truly amazing homemade chicken curry, fluffy white rice and homemade chips to die for... Amazing service all round and busy location which shows how truly amazing the hungry hut is... Highly recommend... Family also enjoyed their meals 👏👏👏👏

Absolutely delicious Cod and chips and Scampi and chips from the roadside cafe. Really friendly people with hugely popular regular customers. I phoned an order through and it was ready for me to collect from our nearby holiday home. They have a nice menu with some special dishes available. I also tried out their curry sauce and wow what super taste. They can be found in a lay-by just south of Sennybridge and opening times can be found on their Facebook page named The Hungry Hut

Not much to say really, all freshly cooked when you order, tastes great, home cut huge chips, endlkess chicken options, great burgers, fish and chips, The hut go above and beyond every day. I'm lucky to live local and have this gem on the doorstep

Weston House High StreetWell when we moved to the area a year ago we tried this fish shop and it seemed OK. Used it a few times since then but generally gone down hill. The time before this visit it was aqfull and it went straight in the bin, this was last year. Thought could have been a one off so tried again tonight as had a busy day and did not want to cook. Well not much better than the last but ate it cos hungry. Also gone up to nearly £20 for 2 fish and chips. Won't be wasting my money there again....

19 Broad StreetWhat's in a name? Why silver fish? Isn't that a type of insect that spawns in sticky store cupboards? This place is the beating heart of Newtown. Busy at all hours, and for good reason, generous portions, friendly staff, great prices. To eat here is to feel part of something good. Even if it is just fish and chips.

Hall StreetPopped in with my wife when we were in Welshpool, absolutely beautiful food, I had the breakfast while my wife had the quiche, salad and a jacket potato both served with a delicious latte. Highly recommended.
