Solo traveller to Edinburgh and was recommended the Gorgie Fish Bar for a fish supper. Easy to find, staff very friendly and the fish was probably the best I have ever tasted. Also tried chippy sauce for the first time and it was very tasty.

Nice and delicious sandwich with a huge amount of meat in it. Tasty home made sauce. Must try :) strong coffee as well. something really scottish

Llegamos al castillo de Edimburgo un poco temprano, así que decidimos tomar una bebida caliente mientras esperábamos. No hay mucho que decir, el servicio era bastante rápido. El té era té. . . . los niños recibieron sándwiches, de los que no se quejaron, pero cualquier cosa que no los coma primero, ya sabes.

Pedido doner y patatas fritas. Me costó 10 libras. 50 . Por este precio, esperaba mucho. Resultó ser la peor carne que he probado. La carne estaba seca, masticable y sabía a líquido de lavado. Rancio! No comas aquí.

No he usado el Thailander por un par de años. Pero tenía muy buenos recuerdos de la deliciosa comida. Desafortunadamente esta noche la comida no cumplió con nuestras expectativas - el salteado de verduras era débil en sabor y la salsa era acuosa, panang curry también tenía una salsa acuosa delgada y no era realmente delicioso o lleno de esos sabores tailandeses que esperábamos.

Awful service. It's a Saturday night, weren't you expecting any customers. 20 minutes wait for fish and chips. At least we knew they were freshly cooked but not sure they were worth the wait. Next time I'll stay at home and cook my own.

Really love this place. Staff are friendly and chatty, always good for a laugh, and the food is lush - I keep forgetting how good it's going to be when I go in for a quick bite after the pub. It's nothing fancy, which is to its benefit - it's just a really good burger, really well made, generously portioned, affordable, and in a friendly place. Plus you can get a full meal for under a tenner, and you don't lose out on taste. 10/10 full recommend

If I've asked once I've asked (politely) 100 times for extra chippy sauce on my food and EVERY fecking time I get a tiny amount of dried on sauce. Tonight was the last straw you incompetent idiots. Customer lost!!!!
