The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

I've been going to Mash's once (sometimes twice) a week for the best part of a year now on my lunch break with my colleagues and we all love it. The chicken burgers are delicious, and they have a solid variety of sauces to choose from for your chicken wings (honey barbecue is my fav). The food is consistently fantastic every time - it honestly puts other big name brands to shame. The owners are super friendly and the service is excellent too :)

our order wasn't delivered, we had the wrong order delivered, had to contact person on the reciept and arrange to take their order and pick up my own, tried to ring the fish shop before closing but they didn't answer the phone. we will not be ordering from there again

First my food tasted like McDonald’s, I was hungry so it wasn’t too bad. 7/10 reasonably. Now I ordered milkshake for £6 they gave me no cream. You could tell they watered down the milkshake instead of making it with actual milk. Furthermore the service was poor they acted like they didn’t want to even be there. Honestly such a shame also who gets a milkshake made and they don’t even add toppings ?

Had to wait over an hour for our food to be delivered. When food arrived it was cold.

1HOUR 15 MINS ALLOCATED TABLE TIME~ it’s is like a food challenge without being aware of it! They even asked us to vacate the table even though there were over 6 tables empty!!! To anyone BOOKING ~ COMPLETE TWO BOOKINGS BACK TO BACK ~ to allow yourself ample time to eat and drink in a relaxed way! FOOD & SERVICE 5 STARS!! It’s a shame I am having to leave such a negative review of this restaurant as the food was so amazing and staff were so friendly. I booked a table at 5.00pm when I arrived they stated they needed the table back by 6:15pm, I checked my booking as I was in shock how short the table allocation was and there it was in black and white 1 hour 15 mins. This is all they allow for a diner to read the menu, order, eat, and drink. It simply isn’t long enough we had one round of drinks and mains and didn’t even have time to have the deserts or a second round of drinks. According to the email booking (attached) “We have a leave time in place to ensure all tables are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before the next sitting. We really appreciate your co-operation at the moment to ensure the health and safety of all our customers and staff.” I have never been to a restaurant with such a short leave time 2 hours is the norm but an 1hour 15 mins is impossible to have a relaxed meal or catch up with friends. The place was half empty but at 6:20pm the staff came over and asked us to leave as we were over our allocated time (I found this rather insulating especially after we had spent over £60). We had literally just finshed eating and still had drinks left and were about to order another round of drinks so it really was there lost as we went to an alternative bar. After spending £60 in the burger shop between 2 people I felt like they had got our money and were ushering us out the door so they could squeeze more people in and drain more money from them. An 1hour 15mins Isn’t long enough for a table allocation the restaurant needs to urgently review this as they have lost a customer in both myself and freind as we won’t be returning.

Heard rave reviews about this place. So gave it a try, sadly it didn't live up to the hype but was nice. Will give it another go just in case it was an off day.

Best burger in hove highly recommend

Tuvimos una comida de excelente relación calidad-precio, hecha fresca y rápidamente. Mientras que no estábamos en un apuro la comida llegó rápidamente y era muy sabroso. La decoración tiene un toque italiano moderno, sin ninguna pretensión, hay un buen comedor arriba. El personal era amable y conversó con entusiasmo sobre Italia y Manchester. Lo recomendaría encantado.

Went in for fried chicken and came out with a fried hand. They've got these ridiculous heating elements on the ceiling at arm height. They're set hot enough to sear meat. Lifted my arm when putting my jacket on and it got burnt in the split second I touched it. Left marks down my fingers like they'd been grilled. Staff were good - they got me a burnsoothe gel and wrapping which helped but it's a ridiculous hazard. No warnings, no mesh to cover the heaters. Lucky it was my own hand and I pulled it down straight away but if you picked a kid up or something 😬 food is great though and they cater to gluten free and it didn't exactly put me off or anything but something to keep an eye out for! Edit/reply: The review was both fair and generous. Got comped £15 for my meal, but I spent well over that on getting burn creams, bandages and things like disposable gloves so I could shower or cook without getting stuff on my burns. Spent over a week typing up my reports with my left hand, rescheduling work cause I couldn't hold a pen, plucking wool out of my wounds every time I took my gloves off. 2 weeks in and the scab still kept painfully breaking every time I bent my fingers. Charlie, an apology should read, "We are sorry for the incident, we have taken steps to make sure it doesn't happen again, and we hope to see you again", not this.

A great chippy. It's reputation goes before it. A popular chippy with excellent food. That's why it's been open for so long.

The most delicious cod and chips for miles!

Fast service, generous portions, and the burgers were good (chicken/vegetarian). The only downside: no beer.
