Schandalig! Wij komen helemaal vanuit London passeren Leeds om een lekkere fish and chips te eten! Volgens de openingstijden moesten ze dus open zijn! Niet dus! Kleine moeite om je uren aan te passen op Google!!!

Four of us were starving after a night out. Popped into the Cardigan FIsh Bar for some fishh n chips. OMG, these were RANK. All of us had to dump our meals (in a local dustbin). Something was very off with the fish. Couldnt be bothered to go back to complain, as the guy in the shop was a bit aggressive with other customers whilst we were waiting. Lesson learnt, avoid avoid avoid, I just feel sorry for the rats who probably hang around this 'takeaway' .

No need to look any further when looking for solid fish and chips! Great curry sauce, scraps and the chips are grand!

Proud to be a regular here! Not too expensive, good range of menu options and deals. The perfect local chippy!

Old school, cheese burger and chips. The flavour was meaty, the bun was toasted, which gave it an extra home some taste. Burger comes with salad and cheese. The chips were fluffy and warm. The meal comes with a can for £6, value for money. The fish and chips is a must try. Very flavoursome batter, crispy and just the right amout of portion. The batter mix was something you dnt get at many places. The fish was haddock which is a rare find for this price £8. Cash only but 3 seats inside and a table with 2 chairs outside. For over 8 years, 5 star food and hygiene. The food was pipping hot which was a great. Zak the owner was lovely and Joe who served me. Great customer service. On Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats. Indian Street food is unique to a fish bar so do have a look at the website.

Live in Liverpool but always pop in when we're up seeing family, great food and proper friendly, old school service. Will be back next time we're up!!!

The naga donner is just spot on from here. Other places ram it with spice and overpower everything. This place does it properly with one bite you can taste the donner, the naga, the seasoning. They do it how it should be. Defo get the naga donner from here with the green chutney. Service is a 10 aswell. Food is 10. Oh and the owner has a very nice green bmw 👌

Had the fish and chips asked what the fish was and was told it was haddock but it tasted a bit bland to be haddock it tasted more like Pollock.

Today i was defeated by this epic burger 😍😍😍the burger with the meat inside was so juice🤤🤤 now I'm ready for bed 😂😂😂this is why Cardigan fish bar is my local chippy

I went for the fish and chips and the Sunday roast which comes out once a month only. 10:10 on the food it was delicious. The service is great as well. Defo recommend and will be visiting more frequently

Come to Leeds regularly to visit my son who lives near the fish bar. The fish is cooked to perfection, the all important batter delicious. Friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. Lovely people and not to forget of course, real chips, not frozen!! Always call in when I visit

This is the spot to go and get some good food. Great customer service from the whole crew, who are very friendly and welcoming but that's not the best part. The best part is the food which took me by surprise! A good surprise of course. They've made a regular out of me and I'd recommend it to everyone!

10/10 stir fry donner abdolutely delicious and quality.

I got large F&C and fish bites and it was £23.50! Got a can and sauce as well I suppose and the food was enough for 2 but still was a bit shocked. The F&C was average but the fish bites are really nice but think they're a bit steep at £12! The Google menu is out of date so all the prices have gone up by 50%. I think if you can get something on one of the deals it's alright and they're the only chippy open on a Sunday nearby. Nice friendly staff but can't say I'm happy with how much that cost!

Bought a fish & chips with mushy peas a few times throughout first year uni & forgot to leave a review until now! The taste of both fish & chips were amazing and I couldn’t recommend it to you more! Received a thank-you note from the owners as I ordered food multiple times - what a kind gesture. Can’t wait to be back in second year & ordering more food from here.

What fabulous value, and where else could you get this on a Sunday early evening. The fish batter was crisp, generous salt and vinegar and very personable service. Fully recommended after a full day at Ceadingley Cricket. Just what we needed.

Spot on to be honest, the food was spot on, i got a large fish and chips and the mrs got a battered and chips. The batter was thin and crispy, nice white flakey fish, chips were spot on and the gravy, curry and mushy peas were spot on. they only take cash but theres a cash machine 30 seconds down the road, would recommend this to anyone and as a student its in a convenient location and prices are great for the quality of food and for the atmosphere within the place.

We called in on the walk back from Headingley (after our train had been cancelled) and had the small fish and chips on buy one get one free. Considering it was a small, the portion sizes were massive and both fish and chips were delicious! Service was great too. Will definitely call in again

on a serious note. Just because the owner shared the details in another restaurant, Decided to give it a try. Food was too bad. There was no atmosphere at all anyway. What you can expect from a cheap coner shop. 🤧🤮 Few of my friends ordered too. Their reviews will verify how cheap this place and owner’s marketing stunts are.

Best takeaway in leeds !! From the owner to the staff Cardigan Fish Bar is the place to go. This takeaway does not just provide quality food but the quantity is definitely worth the price. A massive bonus is the CFB twisted food no other takeaway in Leeds that can provide a unique menu and not compromise on the quality or portions provided.

Ohhhh, the flavours!! Today was my first time here and definitely coming back again. Had a large chips (nice, fresh chips, tasty), and had veg samosas. Can't stop raving about them ,still feel the flavours - so bright, tangy, the right amount of chilli sauce (optional), honestly, probably the best I've had! The vibe is also noticibly inviting. One of the brothers, Zack, prepared our food. His passion and love for food shines through. Well, done👍and certainly recommend for others to come and try it out.

The fish is exceptional and what I love the most is that they also have a varied menu especially on a Sunday with the twisted meal. I also love their foiled fish which is my favourite. Vegan food available. They don't have a specific vegan menu, but the chips are cooked in vegetable oil and separately from the fish. Their veggie burger is vegan friendly. They prepared spicy vegan loaded chips especially for me. The staff were very friendly, helpful and eager to fulfil my vegan needs.

They generally always produce food fresh to order with a great variety of menu options and are very accommodating ones’ requirements. Always adding new things to the menu to provide a varied and unique offering and new takes on more traditional foods.

My favorite is their grilled fish butty, nicely topped with onions, 🌶 and spices, a perfect blend of est and west.
