Proper old school fish and chips... Not a chippy pretending to be traditional and old school but a proper genuine example... You cannot get more authentic and quality food from genuine Leeds peeps... Go here... Get fed... Nuff said.... 👊

I would give 6 stars if possible ^__^ The shopkeepers are friendly and the food is fresh and tasty!

Lovely food, good prices and friendly staff. Try their home made chilli con carne with chips. Out of this world! Tasty, tonnes of it, and only a fiver! I can't keep away from the place. I'm addicted to their chilli con carne! 😊

The fish is ample and firm, really nicely cooked. Wasn't a great lot of flavour in the batter and the chips were a little oilier than I'd have preferred, but the price is right, the friendly neighbourhood customer service made it worth the visit and I would certainly go again.

Gorgeous fish from here, used to go to one up in Bramley and the difference is night and day. Definitely recommended.

My food was never delivered to me I rang up and told them I made a mistake with my post code they said they will sort straight away and will bring my food to my hotel never been delivered never got my food what a poor poor service rang the delivery driver annoys times in actually fumming with this service put on delivered when he’s never delivered it and then blocks my number ! Outrageous

Fish and chips are delicious. There's always excellent. There's is aways a good atmosphere and a nice welcome when you walk in. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend.

Chips were undercooked and put burger cheese on my chips

The chips was not sweet at all, did not enjoy it.

The food was lovely the steak pie was amazing and I loved that they wrote merry Christmas on the receipt

Fabulous fish and chips again. Way too many chips included - hate wasting food but no way could I eat all those chips, enough for 2 adults! Fish moist and well fried, batter crispy. Definitely recommend and will be ordering again!

Fair to say we was travelling in the car by Kirkstall and if it wasn’t for the junction traffic lights at red and a queue, we noticed the Kirkstall fish shop including the sign board out side light meal dinner time fish chips -peas- curry for £5. So on impulse we turned into the side street and took the £5 option. Yes the portion sizes are what you’d expect but this we took has ok. We are not complaining about the fish … chips browned off all ok. I think Kirstall Fisheries has been here years so it must be ok for others has well. Friendly staff

One of the best fish and chip shops in leeds by far. Absolutely lovely staff and the food is incredible. I couldn’t recommend enough. I had the lite lunch deal which is a small fish, chips and a sauce (I got curry) and it was lovely.

Second time ordering & was just as good as the first time. Portion size is decent & came warm and within about half hour or less of ordering. The delivery man was also smiley & polite!

The fish was very thick and white and very very tasty and the batter was really crispy and the chips were very hot and tasty the double cheese burger was beautiful

The food was poor the curry sauce was flat cold and the chips was rock Hard unacceptable had to be thrown away

Sent curry sauce rather than mushy peas what I ordered sausage was mushy threw the lot in bin was rancid

Absolutely amazing. Food was piping hot when it arrived, we got everything we ordered and loved the cardboard boxes it all came in. My only minor criticism would be that I was a bit confused when I was asked for a 'pin' as that had never happened for me before. Aside from that It's a great place with great food!

Delicious. Beautiful fish and chips. Unfortunately the curry sauce lid had popped off in transit, resulting in all but a tiny bit of it emptying out into the bag.

The food was outstanding the chips were cooked perfect the fish was battered spot on and the sausage and spam was cooked to perfection keep up the good work

The only thing that was good was the fish. No salt or vinegar on my food, no option to request it either. Ordered gravy, received a very lumpy gravy/curry mix, still not sure what it was.

Lost one star because we like our chips a bit browner than those we got, which is a personal preference admittedly but that said the meal was still tasty though. Also very well done for using recyclable cardboard boxes for the meal and a paper delivery bag also recyclable 👍

Breadcake tasted funny and the fish and peas tasted sweet.

The cheapest fish and chips in Leeds but definitely not the best. You get what you pay for. £5 for a small fish and chips and extras, is definitely good value for money in late 2022. But the fish was prefried and not very hot, chips were below average. I will not return. I prefer to pay a bit more for better quality.

Usually as a rule I wouldn't eat from a chip shop that sells burgers etc but I'm glad I broke that rule food was perfect and bang on time cheers will ve ordering again, can't stand just eat tho charging 4 pound delivery rip off con artist

The food was fine when it eventually arrived , nearly 30 mins late and for some strange reason the delivery driver came to my back garden with it ????, had to take the delivery over the fence in the Rain 🤔.

I always love to get the lunch specials: Lite Bite (fish+chips+gravy/curry/peas) only for £5. It's also the time when the crumbs are available. Ask for it for the delicious bits!

I ordered a £10.50 Fish and Chips, the and two normal small haddock fish, the large was as small as a chips fish an chip meal and the small was like what you'd give to a Cat.. Either the driver wanted my order an give me a less expansive version or this place is scamming justeat customers.

Delicious food - a proper British chip shop. All arrived piping hot and well wrapped - ordered a small fish which was still a significant portion and the chips were lovely - out of the 3 chips shops available on just eat, this place is our favourite.

I have eaten many a portion of fish and chips in my life. Kirkstall fisheries never disappoint. Fresh fluffy and crispy chips, Icelandic haddock in a light, crispy golden batter, No greasy after taste. Good value for money, especially the lunchtime offers. And to top it off nice friendly staff which is always an added bonus. Keep up the good work guys n gals

Called in here the other day as I was passing. Ordered their small fish and chips for £5. I was pleasantly surprised,nicest fish and chips I've had in a while. Had a laugh and a chat with friendly staff while fish was cooking. Will call in again

Hour and a half late,chips cold,dry and chewy, buttered sausage nice.terrible service considering that order should of took between 25-40 min.

It's expensive for what it is. Received small chips instead of large. Overdone sausage and twice now over an hour wait. Lucky to get what you ordered.Use to be nice and fresh and good size portions presented in boxes though now changed. Not worth the £3 delivery anymore.

Item missing when contacted the establishment my wife was accused of lying & then hung up on. Rude staff completely ignorant all because they got the order wrong. Do not use.

I would definetely recommend the fish & Chips from Kirkstall Fisheries,no fat taste at all as at most places,really good quality,1st time ever for fish & Chips twice in a week when working local 😊🤙
