Sandwich House in Sandwell

Used to come here years ago, happened to be passing so decided to pop in. Same lovely, friendly staff. So many fillings to choose from. Can recommend the goats cheese, roasted peppers, onion chutney and crushed walnuts- absolutely delicious! Will definitely re-visit, highly recommended!

I work down in West Brom 1 day a fortnight and I’ve only just found this absolute gem! I just wish Leicester had a sandwich shop which could match the standards of this shop. I had a Sausage, egg, hash brown, cheese wrap and it was the best I’ve ever had. Cannot rate this place enough I will know be coming here every fortnight I’m down here.... the options for sandwiches and pastries are limitless. Please check this place out you will not regret it. Also speedy service even when it was super busy. It’s a must visit if you’re down this neck of the woods.. top notch!

had bacon and sausage sandwich . which was still warm when i got home . excellent quality and great service

I like the baguettes here my Husband always has sausage and egg which to be honest I'm not keen on but he likes it. I have either the chicken tikka with mango, banana and salad which I now sounds disgusting but it really works or the tuna special with salad . Both are top notch sandwiches and I'm always happy with them. When I had a salad box from here I tried there colesslaw which I don't usually like but it's lovely the nicest I've had. The only issue with going here at lunch time is it gets very busy and theres not a lot of parking, still worth it though

Been coming here for over 15 years and as good as ever. Moved to Cornwall 4 years ago and when we come up, one of these, along with a decent curry and kebab are always in the list.

This wouldn’t work even be a 1 star if I could put My review up. Order from here on a regular basis and they don’t always get the order correct but I never say anything. Today I rang in advance to make a order as usual, today was a small order of 2 sandwiches compared to the regular 10 plus sandwiches, got a time from them for when the order would be ready as I use my break time of work to collect it, turned up 5 mins later then when I was told to collect and asked if my order was ready to be told no it’s not been made, asked how long it would take, was getting passed from one person to another saying don’t know in a abrupt manner because they was busy, so told them to just cancel the order and left. Other members of public and people from my work place then tell me the staff made comments about me saying I have a attitude problem because I didn’t want to wait and I cancelled the order they hadn’t even started making. I am also busy and took time out to make the order and collect accordingly to there times, how rude to then had inappropriate comments made. Definitely won’t be going back there and will get work colleges and family to use Marie’s cafe instead or Babs cafe!!

After a number of times ordering food and it being incorrect, I thought I would call up today and ask to speak with the manager. Checking the website and seeing "passionate about customer service" I was expecting somebody empathetic at the very least. What I got was certainly not "any kind of customer service" that I would have expected. I spoke with Tim as once again the sandwiches that were ordered over the phone were incorrect! There was a woman, who can only be explained as a screaming banshee in the background, stating that we had not ordered what we were saying that we had, for Tim to check the order to see that in fact, yes we had but it was not on the sandwich! I was hoping for at least an apology? Didn't get that, a refund? Didn't get that? Or the opportunity to get the sandwich corrected? No didn't get that either! The sandwiches are great when they are right, if they are wrong then you have no hope of getting it corrected, so either eat it or throw it in the bin like I have just done as unfortunately I only have 1/2 hour lunch & I had taken that time going to collect it!

cannot fault this place - very busy . had my usual . bacon sausage and mushroom sandwich with red sauce . still warm when i got home with cup of tea.

i keep coming back here for my treat of the week . bacon and sausage and mushroom sandwich . must be the best in the area .

I got 3 sandwiches today from a lovely lady in the Sandwich House. Freshly baked baguettes, Proper Butter, and enough filling to sink a ship. You can fill it with just about anything.... Hot bacon and sausage, eggs, hash browns,, mushrooms, whatever. If you want t cold sandwich, there's ham, turkey, vegetarian options, salad bar, baked potatoes. 3 sandwiches for £10.65, what else do you need....

I've been going here for about five years now and have always been satisfied. Breakfast menu really nice and all bacon and sausage is oven cooked so no grease. Jacket potatoes are really nice and the sandwich / panini menu is extensive and everything is made fresh to order. Highly recommended.
