The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Yorkshire and The Humber

A really nice surprise to find this fish and chip shop in a layby off the a19 near Escrick on the way home from work. Very nice welcoming couple. Chatted to everyone. They take your order on arrival. Sausage and chips for me. Excellent. I will be definitely coming back when I am in the area again next month. Ample parking. Disabled access and toilets.

The food is awesome, and the staff is very kind, especially Avtar Singh and Harry and Tanuj Bhullar. I would highly recommend this fish and chips.

Didn’t like the burgers mostly due to its very vinegary flavour

Normally is spot on but went in late around 11 and ordered the masala fish and some southern fried chicken. Both items were overcooked , normally for 3piece chicken with chips is around 4.80 but had only the chicken and got charged 5.10( must have been trying to round it off so can calculate the change properly ) , fish was dry and stale . They close at 1 and I don’t know why tasted like 3 days old food with getting ripped off. I will still be going as the place is normally bang on but very disappointed with the staff member and quality of the food.

Ordered lightly battered fish with chips n peas. This was the most disappointing takeaway I've ordered .The fish was the size of half a slice of bread and same thickness....(regular fish unbatterd is usually 6oz but Castle fisheries are 4oz ? 33%smaller ?. Mushy peas were forgotten about had to remind the staff who put a small pot in the microwave to heat up this was on a Saturday afternoon...I was the only customer in the shop ....very poor food and service.

Used to be the the best pizza in North Leeds, honesty I could have made better pizza. Worst pizza I have ever eaten.

Tons of floaters in the vinegar and it was cloudy looks like it's been spat in and that was the same on every table!

Along time since I bought from here & it will be along time if I ever go again. Fish was undercooked & chewy,chips anaemic.

First time here and it was beautiful and delivery was excellent

First time trying yoh burger and it was absolutely delicious! The staff at the Rotherham store was very friendly, really helpful with recommendations and the experience was just 10/10

Got a lunchtime special,the fish was 2parts stuck together,I've researched it and they call it a "jockey" wasn't a nice experience! Disappointing experience 😞
