The best hot chocolate drink with cream and marshmallows I had in Cornwall during a 2 week holiday and the cheapest. Also polite friendly staff

Ordered fish & chips and battered sausage, all very greasy - won’t be going back, also, cash only - be prepared.

3 pieces of chicken and chips and a half pounder cheese burger. Yummy yummy. Nice staff, friendly, polite and lovely seeing the boss again .

We have been ordering food from here for years. It is always lovely. Tonight I made an error...accidentally put for collection...when I didnt show up they called me and delivered straight away. We wouldnt order from anywhere else.

Best burgers and the fries are amazing

Sat inside for lovely fish with crispy batter and fresh hot chips. Food arrived almost immediately after we ordered from the shop front and then went in. Reasonably priced for the frankly huge portion of fish, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We ordered pad Thai and it was delicious, and the service was lovely both over the phone and in person, very very friendly, would recommend

Had one portion of cod & chips & one scampi & chips because we were told at 16.30 that they only had one piece of fish left. Food was cooked as we waited. I asked for the food to be wrapped as we were talking it away but got given a box that couldn't be closed (with a shrug of the shoulders) due to the only good thing I would say about the place & that was the portion sizes. The batter on the fish was undercooked & the fish was chewy. The scampi was overcooked. The chips are most definitely were frozen oven chips. Everything had an unpleasant flavor from what I'm assuming is the oil used to cook in. Would give no stars if possible for the food. The positive reviews surprise me & what made me try there in the first place.

My experience doesn't match what other people have experienced it seems. Although it's a piri piri place, we ordered some standard fast food. Despite this, the food was a tad slow to arrive. The chicken burgers were one of the most horrible I had and I had to bin most of it. Chips were ok. Even though we ordered 5 meals, we weren't given any sauces or tissue. When I asked for it, we were given some, but certainly not for 5 people's meals. For the quality, the prices were too high.

Ignore ridiculous reviews on here saying that the fish and chips are anything less than 10/10. Absolutely excellent fish and chips, have always visited whilst in the area, taken away to sit by the glorious estuary, and never had any cause for complaint, other than the enormous queues (but well worth waiting for), and the prices, which are significantly higher than here 'up north'. My problem is I've just been diagnosed as Coeliac, and cannot visit any more, as even the chips are fried in the same pan as the battered fish.... Absolutely gutted.!!! Thank you for the years of pleasure.

Has gone downhill since being taken over. Many of past reviews were from previous owners(Madeirans). £13.10 - large Cod/medium chips rather expensive and whole meal was cold. Will have to look elsewhere next time

A lovely place with lovely staff, and anyone into cars gets a big thumbs up. The fish was cooked fresh and well worth the wait !!! I'll be going back in December

A nice little shop, staff are lovely and remember my order when I go in, witch makes feel valued as a customer. Milkshakes are always first class!
