Great Service, Great Food, Highly recommend this Chip Shop.

Food was ok, but cold, likely due to long delivery time

Great food delivered real quick. I ordered a burger, but didn’t click on any extras so they rang me to check I wanted a plain burger or did I want salad. Very impressed and when I fancy a chippy dinner again I’ll be using this one for sure.

Great food and friendly service as always. Although Revisited today, 8/1/22 Phoned through order as usual. Got home and 1 portion chips missing from order. Rang to complain, to get a credit back on card. No can do. Has to be a free portion on my next visit. Poor lady on own serving etc. And 2 men behind the scenes shouting at her. Not great for the customer to see. Revisited 28/9/24 friendly staff taking orders.

Delivery was different or order . You order 2 jumbo sausages and get 3 curry sauces .. I don’t even know how that can happen !

I was not I was not happy when it was delivered Because it was cold food And it fell the pie was not very nice inside it.This felt could not eat it at all.It just felt this mule was not eatable At two As we used this Overtime

the driver took two orders at once and dropped went to hunts Grove before dropping my order off, this is disgusting and I don't agree with it.

I couldn't find the delivery code on my phone. I have never been asked for this before. You need to let ppl know they need to keep this to hand. Driver who was pleasant tried to help. Others will struggle with this. Food taken away!

Great staff great prices. Cod bites are lush. Prices have gone up a fair bit

I thought it pointless to be able to choose a delivery time unless you can keep to it. Good food but fish was more chewy/tough than usual

Ordered a jumbo sausage special. They just delivered a sausage?? i phone up and the woman on the other end of the phone says I’ve just ordered a sausage in which I’ve replied that I have receipt proof on the bag and on my phone I ordered the full meal. 🤦‍♀️ used to love this place but even the last time they forgot part of the order and thought that would be a one off

Lovely food and piping hot! Only thing that was wrong was the code I gave courier he said didnt match with his but it was my order!

Food was great, but 45 mins for delivery is a little excessive considering how close I live (but hey I’m lazy and couldn’t be assed to leave the house).

When driver arrived with food, over an hour late, he told us he had been sat in Asda charging his phone to find our address, food was stone cold on arrival so had to reheat everything.

Wow. Lovely fish and chips arrived on time and hot. There are plenty enough for 3. And they taste great like proper fish and chips should. Very happy

It's a decent chippy, but the menu is fairly old school. I think they do burgers, nothing like kebabs, etc. I know costs have escalated, but £3.40 for a portion of chips! And I do know this isn't unique to them, but there's a lot of markup on just spuds!

Chips were plain rather than cheesy refund needed

Food inedible! Chips tasted like they'd been sat in fbe bag for an hour. Fish cake overcooked and mushy.

Didn’t receive my drink on the order but, delivery man had drink in his car.

Annoying as missing drinks items again this is the 4th order in a row where drinks are always missing

Poor. Collected and there was a missed item. It’s not that hard to make sure an order is all there.

Food arrived stone cold and extremely late! Preparing order was at 5.40, driver at the restaurant at 6.10 and delivery was 6.40pm when it's only 5 minutes away! All items inedible! Extremely unhappy and want full refund

He refused to deliver to me or follow any directions. Why do you employ people who don't understand basic English!!! I want my money back now.

Chicken burger was lovely!! Salad was so fresh and the chicken was beautiful. Chips were definitely fresh and had a nice crisp to them. They listened to my requests brilliantly. The delivery driver was very lovely as well which is a bonus when ordering from some were new. Would definitely order again as left a very good impression on me!

Fish was cold as if it had been prepared to early before the driver was assigned.

Ordered at 6:30 with a 20 min estimated wait time. At 8:15 only just assigned a driver. Food arrived shortly after but was stone cold. I could see driver travelling from restaurant to door so the issue was that the order had been prepared closer to 6:30 and had been sitting around waiting.

My order was missing 2 x cans of coke..delivery driver was argumentative when I pointed it out and said I should ring shop.maybe he should of gone and got them as he clearly didn’t check the order !!!

Food was awful. Probably the worst fish and chips we've ever had. Chips were green and black , soggy like they'd been boiled then fried. Utterly vile. They werent great a month or so ago when we last went there and gave the benefit of the doubt as usually ok , but this time they were 10 times worse. It's a shame because the staff are lovely

The food is great here every time. It is great for a quick meal as you never have to wait very long. The people who work there are also very friendly. One thing they could improve is adding more vegetarian or vegan dishes as there are few.

Well this is a first from here usually always good food, NOT this time got the wrong burger which was terrible and as for the rest freezing cold very poor

as above. food was adequate. batter on haloumi fritter was crispy but on cod was soggy. one of the cods was definitely not large.

After it was preparing for a long time. I hoped it would be hot. But nope barely warm. 20 mins late after the time slot changed 3 times

Courier was at restaurant for over half an hour. Food is cold. Clearly waited around for multiple orders and know the peeps in the quedgeley fryer are straight on the orders as soon as they come through so not laying the blame there at all.

the order was placed at 1935 and predicted gor delivery as 19.55 to 20.10. OK. Then the tracker showed it was in preparation. It stayed in preparation for at least 25 minutes and the delivery slot changed to 20.15 to 20.30 and the food arrived at 20.25. Not piping hot. We live 3 miles from the Quedgeley fryer.

Chips a little soggy. Couldn’t taste the vinegar. Fish and battered sausages were perfect 🤩

The fish and chips is usually great from here we order a small chips and large fish just right for two. So disappointed food was cold small chips was a laugh smallest portion ever and the large fish was a joke we thought it was small thought we had ordered wrong won’t be going back such a shame

Rubbish food missing wouldn’t replace never would I buy from theses again , all staff totally rude no way to run a business!!

Really bad experience, food arrived an hour and half after ordering. Food wasn't great, won't be using just eat again or the quedgeley fryer.

After a 80 minute wait, the chips were awful and rest was just about eatable. Really unusual for this restaurant. Very disappointed

Whilst the food arrived earlier than expected and taste wise was fine it was not very warm.

The driver delivered the wrong order to my address when I complained to the outlet another driver brought our delivery but it was cold

Best chip shop in Gloucester. However, check your order as I have twice had items left out of my order.

Driver left my food outside of back gate on the floor. Had it not come up as delivered and I went to look it would still be on the floor now. Outrageously poor service. Food in oven warming up now

You keep missing items maybe slow down do it properly!

I can only assume the horrible chips were frequent flyers to the fryer.

The fish was so dry. No salt and vinegar as asked and the batter was dry too. This place gets worse each time I order from there.
