Friendly and attentive the second you walk through the door, the fish and chips are some of the best I've tasted in plymouth. Great food and great service 👍

Tiny portions and average at best food be nice if they give you what you ordered terrible service and food would never use again

We did go there 5 minutes before they closed, so naturally, the staff were grumpy as hell. The food was limited, but my good, there was no reason for it to be absolutely disgusting. We were so hungry we ate so we could sleep peacefully and gave the majority to our dogs, which seems quite cruel now I look back at it

Placed my take away order and and it was served and wrapped up straight away (no waiting at all) The food was hot when I got it home after a short walk and the order was all correct. One of the fish portions though was quite dry and not up to the usual standard. I wondered if it had been held over from lunchtime and merely dipped back into the fryer in an attempt to heat it through again?

This by far the best chippy in Plymouth or any other area I’ve been in, the food is great, always fresh, never greasy, very fast service, very friendly staff and great value.

Smallest portions in Plymouth. Potato surprise . The surprise is there’s quarter of a portion. No wonder they still wear masks in there I’m surprised they don’t shout stand and deliver as they serve you. Don’t think I’ll go back here .

Busy chippy but worth the wait, friendly helpful staff with good size portions

Just been to the chippy and I think that they need to rethink 1 member of their staff who was extremely rude and argumentative in trying to determine who was next in the queue. I tried to explain and even the lady behind me tried but to no avail. She tried to dictate the queue order so I went to another member of staff who was extremely helpful. The food is very good but this unhelpful person, needs a lesson in customer care and manners.

Worst burger I have had from this establishment. Even my wife had fish and chips .she was not impressed with her fish . We did vist on lunch time . That's the only thing I can think is different. Don't let your quality go down .

Bring back the old chef! Not sure where he's gone, but everything now is just bland and soggy. Visited a few more times over the last 2 months, but it's still the same. Used to be hands down the best chippy in Plymouth. A real shame.

Personally I think it is the best chippy in town. Great food, lovely staff and they all wear masks. Gives you confidence that they care.

2021: Great fish and chips. Really on the ball with their covid safety measures with limiting people inside and social distancing for outside. The food was spot on and I will be a regular customer from now on. Updated 2024: Haven't been here in over a year but they're absolutely spot on as usual. I highly recommend this chippy, great chips, fish, sausages and curry sauce. To order the food there is multiple areas and has a great system so the queue moves quickly. Absolutely great, will be back again.

Great chippy one of the best in Plymouth if you go try the spicy spuds,cod bites there a must,good for parking as well car park next to shop.

Absolutely brilliant very friendly staff and freshly cooked cod curry sauce not spicy certainly use the chippy again compliments to the fryer and staff

We regularly get chips, curry sauce and the pea fritters (fritters are the size of my hand) as the service is quick, especially during busier periods when they have someone outside with a walkie talkie letting the cooks know about anything needing to be precooked ready for a quick turnaround. One of our go-to places for chippy in the local area

The food was great but the organisation and customer service was awful! The only saving grace was the young girl who I had asked what I should do, who do I order with, where do I pay because at one point I had 3 people telling me different things. She took the time to place my order and pack my order. Even while speaking to her the older lady told me to move but I couldn't because I was talking to that person. The young girl told me to stay and not to worry. She packed my order well and I asked her to inform her manger that I was very pleased with her customer service. I have anxiety and having no order makes things complicated and overwhelming. Thank you again to that young girl! She made the difference!

Got to the chippy for 4.30 pm today didn't have to wait long to be served, drove 5min home and cod chips peas and curry sauce all luke warm very disappointed £20 for barely warm food not very happy

Wife had Roe and chips, I had a steak and kidney pie. Both were excellent

Appalling food. Just picked up 2 sausages burger.. Spicy potatoes pea fritter. I think the customer service is non existent to send out food like thst they clearly don't care. My husband ordered and went to pick up it wasn't till we got home we realised how bad it was. Everything was soggy overcooked and inedible. They may have wanted to use up food before closing but to send that out when it's clear to see its not right is diabolical. Don't waste your money go elsewhere..oh and the oil you cooked it in needs changing..

Really good fish and chips, really enjoyed it. We rang up half an hour before closing on the offchance they'd have some fish and chips left over from the evening as most places run on what's left over for the last 30 to 60 minutes before closing but west park cooked us our stuff fresh and we left west park with hot food after closing hours, there were even people ordering food 5 minutes before closing. This is good service. Good food. Good prices considering cost of living. And a welcome change to the almost anti customer attitudes of other establishments which don't cook fresh close to closing or close early if there's a lack of food fall. Everyone in here was lovely too.

We have always gone here never been disappointed until tonight. The fish looked like it had been cooked and recooked it was disgusting. Unfortunately having to go to work I was unable to take it back but did ring not a good response though.

The chips ans mushy peas were delicious. Very pleasant staff with quick service.

This used to be a good chippy but the fish and chips I had Friday were horrible couldn't eat them fish was tasteless chips was greasy.Hope it was the good fryers night off for there sake sorry for the bad review but you used to be a good chip shop

I've been coming to this chippy for over 20 years. No matter where I live I travel to eat from here. Great choices, well cooked and not all greasy.. The best fish and chips! They have little desserts to take away and the best milkshake machine ever. There's a cafe next door which opens in the daytime. I've not eaten here but a family member has and thought it was great.

Some of the best fish and chips in Plymouth and they also offer gluten free fish and chips which is always a bonus. Polite and friendly staff also some time a bit of a que but that normal for a good fish and chip shop 😀

Excellent takeaway with fast friendly service. Prices fair. Staff operate outside at peak times to order food ahead to reduce delays. Well organized. Regular Friday treat!

Lovely staff, great chips, and unlike a lot of places that close really early now, these open until 10pm every night except Sundays. Brilliant place.

The staff are lovely always helpful. The food is excellent. I never had enough money and they let me pay the next day .excellent chippy. I can't thank them enough.

Hopefully not regularly like this but everything we had was saturated in oil. Almost inedible and the lemon sole was certainly not fresh. None of the items were left to drain it was out of the fryer and into the chip hopper where they were packaged immediately.

A very popular chippy always a que out the door at popular times. Service is good always more then one person serving. Good standard of food not been disappointed yet. Close by street parking can be hit and miss but but plenty of places to look and carpark just a little was up the road 3 min walk to chippy.

Stopped here on way home Saturday as usual great service and gish and chips. Will be back I travel from plympton its that hood.

We've been going to Westpark chippy for years, it's by far the best chippy in Plymouth, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The food is fantastic. They also have the dine in cafe next door which is great too. Will definitely be coming back.

I love this chippie we have been going there for years faggot chips and peas batter sausage a chips yummy. fish is amazing and my husband is just on his way out there now to collect the pickled onions for Xmas plus the usual order Keep up the good and thank you. Oh i nearly forgot the menu is brilliant .

Love I mean love their thick milkshake (caramel flavour) wow I mean the best in the uk go get one the large is £2 and its great that's just to start with the food is definitely award winning, Andrew the owner is a legend and when you eat his food you know that it's been cooked to perfection and you're going to enjoy every bit of mouth watering quality food. Me personally I travel a round trip of 11 miles the only problem is travelling with the smell makes my mouth water lol.

The owner is the most unpleasant man has a very bad attitude problem. I live nearby and eat here regularly food is fantastic and service from the rest of the staff but the main man thinks he’s running a military operation… and cannot admit if he or his staff have made a mistake he then at this point becomes a Sargent major under chip control. Forgetting the ones he left on his shoulder. Other than that foods always great

We always drive past and see a long queue outside, usually a sign of a great place, so decided to pop in and get something. Well we definitely werent disappointed, the staff were polite and fast and the food was great, the spicy spuds were probbaly the best I have had in Plymouth.
