So disappointing. Compared to Alf’s, this is now awful! We’ve been several times since it was taken over (given them a chance to improve as fully appreciate there are always teething problems), but every meal we’ve had something hasn’t been right. The first time they charged us for more food than was provided, the fish was thin and soggy and if I hadn’t queried it when collecting it we would’ve had even more missing. The second time, given how big the portions of chips had been, we decided we didn’t need to order quite as much between 3 of us. This was a mistake as I think they just decide on the day how much they want to give you! First time a regular portion of chips would easily have fed at least 2 if not 3 people, this time it barely gave 2 people any! They were also cold by the time we got home which is literally less than 2 minutes walk away. The most recent time today, my “six” chicken chunks were really 5 and a bit and so overcooked the coating just went everywhere as soon as my fork went in. The chicken was also dry and chewy inside and barely tasted of anything. The battered sausages were also cold and had clearly been overcooked too. They also decided to go back to ridiculous portions as there are enough chips to feed 3 people left in the kitchen despite only ordering two small portions. To top it all off, the prices are more expensive than they were previously at Alf’s for less food (with the chip exception when they feel like it) and of a lesser quality. They also decide to berate their staff when there are customers waiting for their food which I don’t think is right. If you want to have a word with them, do it out the back where the public aren’t going to hear you criticising them! Overall, it’s very disappointing to have what was once a great chippy so close to home now being this inconsistent and poor.

Terrible experience, dry, old fish and extremely unfriendly staff. There are far better alternatives in Weymouth. Avoid this place.

Bought lamb and meat pasty! Utter rubbish, barely any meat just potatoes and flavouring! At almost a fiver it most definitely isn't worth it! Staff were friendly though but as a product won't be buying again!

I can't believe the size of portions. I put a tomato sauce next to the bacon and egg mcmuffin. It's looks like slider burger size. What a rip-off for £4. The restaurant is clean and lovely design. Pletty of parking for 90 mins.

Food is a pretty good friendly staff. Service pretty fast. Always use the APP to get the offers of the day. Big Mac and fries are the best thing on the menu with the wrap of the day. Kids love chicken Nuggets and MCFLUFFY to.

Disorganised, grubby, no receipts. I have been to many McDonalds but I have never seen one quite like this. Appeared to be run by a group of teenagers that didn’t care. 10 minutes before any meals were served. This place should be a gold mine as it is the only place still serving food after 8.45.
