The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Arun South East

This has to be the best F&C shop in Sussex - the quality of the fish is consistently good and the chips are fab (other F&C shops sell greasy and/or chips that are impregnated with dirty/smoky oil). The staff are always pleasant and helpful. Although I always opt to take away, there are several clean and presentable tables/chairs within the shop, and it seems popular for people to dine out here.

This is a go to place for my pal and I if we fancy chips by the sea. We enjoy visiting because the staff are so friendly, especially Becky who always remembers our meals of choice ( fish cakes and chicken nuggets and chips) the food is always cooked to order, the ice creams are lovely too and all right on the prom with plenty of seating available.

Staff were not interested, the buffet wasn't ready, but we were told they'd do it if that was what we wanted... reluctantly...it was empty and half the menu was off limits. We walked out.

Micks is always our first choice for fish and chips. You can ring through and order but we just turn up - although it’s always busy, I’ve never had to wait long. There’s a good choice available and my medium cod and chips is more than enough for both of us. Always well cooked, hot, and not greasy. Staff are always pleasant. There are a few parking spaces outside.

Best chips I’ve had in years. I had almost given up on chip shops having been regularly disappointed by chips that tasted like they had been reheated more than once, cooked in oil that needed changing, and/or with potatoes that had absolutely no flavour. Not the case here where they are consistent in being freshly cooked, crispy on the outside whilst also soft and fluffy on the inside. This is now my go to chippy even though few miles away as they are so good. Mar25 update - still best chips in the area by far. Highly recommend.

Have ordered here before and always loved it until now. I ordered a B & D cheese burger which is my usual with a side of skin on fries. Got here on time and driver was lovely. However as soon as I opened up the box I was confused, the branding that B & D usually have has disappeared and the food all looked slightly odd. Burger patty was thick and hard, couldn’t eat it as it was basically inedible (see photos) tried to eat chips but they are hard and definitely not skin on fries. So disappointing from them as they’ve always been super tasty burgers. £15 not worth spent :(

Great wimpy in Littlehampton. Nice staff good food.

I'm very disappointed. The takeaway has a 4.5 rating, so we were expecting good quality. However, the fish was horrible. We ordered Haddock, which I.woykd have expected to be fresh, moist, and flaky. It was very dry and a solid mass. It had clearly been frozen and definitely wasn't fresh. The worst fish we had ever had from a takeaway.

This is a real gem should you be considering fish and chips in Bognor. It's only a few minutes from the shore by car so we usually stop here on the way there and pick up what are some of the BEST fish and chips available in the area. The portions are a good size but the real stars are the fish and chips! The Cod is cooked to perfection, with a nice crispy batter whilst the Cod itself is moist and full of flavour. The chips are full of flavour and again cooked perfectly. If you want the icing on the cake add some curry sauce to your order! Seaside perfection right there! P.S. Theres now a few sit down seats inside should you want to eat in.

Ordered for delivery…. Awful experience. Half the food missing. Restaurant wouldn’t help. Had to order meals for half the family elsewhere. Should have read the other reviews first. As bad as everyone says. AVOID

People avoid this take away the food is really poor ie portion sizes quality, I ordered scampi which Tom has 10 of the most tiniest pieces of bread crumb only know scampi in them at all, and I also ordered a large cod and chips which was absolutely revolting. My brother-in-law ordered the same and the portion size of the fish was so small you couldn’t even consider it to be a small portion. Absolute rip-off. Avoid avoid avoid

Good service, but coffee was just a warm cup of coffee flavoured milk. I couldn’t drink it! Dirty floors, chairs, carpet at front door. I would expect better from Costa. Wouldn’t recommend or return myself.

Worst food I've tasted in a long time. Sweet and sour chicken, think they forgot the sweet as it was like eating lemons and went in the bin, as did the rest of the food. Waste of £25. Save your money and use the other concessions.
