The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Wigan North West

We travel from Leigh to pick up our Friday night fish & chips. We have plenty of good chip shops in Leigh but we make the effort to drive that little bit further up the road. Great quality and value. The large portion of fish and chips will feed a family of 4 on its own!! Highly recommended. Ps don’t give up if your in the queue outside, it’s worth the wait.

If you're going to Wigan and fancy a pie then this is the place to go. Cannot beat their meat and potato pies!

Everything is made in the house, always best quality meat. Very friendly atmosphere. Bar is set so high you can not compare this place to any other. Having burgers somewhere else is waste of money.

I came here after seeing Alex & Tay on TikTok go here and absolutely have about the classic Wigan dishes! Considering it’s only a 25 minute drive for me and I used to work in Wigan I can’t believe I hadn’t tried some stuff sooner. I’m glad I waited though to find the right place that does it proper! Food was awesome! The owners were great crack to chat to and super friendly, and the 2 of us ate for £10 which you just can’t argue with. Tried my first ever Wigan Kebab and will be back for the Smack Barm Pea Wet when my parents come to visit in March. Highly recommend if you’re thinking of travelling to try the best Wigan has to offer, then you have to come here.

Staff struggle to identify the difference between WHITE BREAD & BROWN BREAD.......if you leave the shop & return 2 minutes later, and ask for an exchange for your correct order......"WE CANNOT RESELL"......I suggested putting the incorrect sandwich they sold me in the bin & keeping the money in the cash register....... I'll stick to the bakery over the road.........

Cometí el error de pedir el descuento (senior) 'pescado y guisantes' por £ 6. Los guisantes estaban bien, pero no tengo idea de qué tipo de pescado estaba comiendo. Estaba seco y duro en algunos lugares, y nada como cualquier bacalao o eglefino que he tenido en las tiendas de patatas fritas a lo largo de los años. Por un extra de £ 1 podría haber tenido pescado apropiado / sabroso. Por el lado positivo, la taza de té que pedí era buena, y costaba solo 80 peniques. , y la dama que servía era agradable.

Sugar rush or what.too much sugar goes in very unhealthy and can't even taste chocolate .don't recommend going here for desert

We went here this morning for a bacon barm before catching the train for a 12 hour shift at the hospital. The door was open so we walked and were greeted by a friendly guy who asked us what he could get us. A lady assistant then said to us. "Let yourselves in why don't you. We only open at 6 oclock" How bad mannered and not what you need at that time in a morning.
