Galloways Bakers in Wigan

Gran sándwich, pero la experiencia estropeada por el personal desencantado miserable que piensan que te están haciendo un favor al servirte. Tristemente no es raro en estos días. No regresaré pronto.

We went here this morning for a bacon barm before catching the train for a 12 hour shift at the hospital. The door was open so we walked and were greeted by a friendly guy who asked us what he could get us. A lady assistant then said to us. "Let yourselves in why don't you. We only open at 6 oclock" How bad mannered and not what you need at that time in a morning.

The best bakers ever. There's nothing I've had that I haven't liked. Spot on. Chicken and mushroom deep filled pies are awesome. The salad baguettes amazing.

Treat yourself to pie peas and gravy for lunch. Best ever add a barm cake and a custard slice and you will never taste anything so good.

Pies are phenomenal and by far the best in the country, probably the world. If you've never been to Galloways then i feel sorry for you. Much better than Pound Bakery (scum). Up the meat and potato pies

when they offer you a fork/ spoon... take it Fillings so good you shirt/ blouse will not survive. Pastry that is light as "whatever" Fillings that are "proper" Nearest to he orinal Pooles pies on Gidlow lane...

We always get our rolls and sandwiches here on the morning of our long train journey back to Wales, they are always fresh with nice tasting good quality fillings and there are a lot of different selections.

Pie, peas and gravy is a must! Galloways have several branches across the town centre and many more round and about Wigan so there are plenty to choose from.

This is a pie shop. If you are happy with Greggs then you are easily pleased. This is a much better quality pie. Well seasoned and well baked. Charging for sauces grinds my gears though.

What is good is they do breakfast until 12 but the coffee is rank instant coffee and then you get hit with a 8p charge for brown sauce, wow! Service is slow too

Lots of cheaper places in town but you can taste the difference with what seem to be better quality ingredients used.

Company policy is not to accept Scottish bank notes, or so i was told. As such unable to comment on quality of the food. The service was appalling
