The best restaurants serving Fast food food in South Lakeland North West

Marvellous little coffee shop selling cakes and saviour snacks and meals. A must visit after a walk around town and the shops. The owner was lovely and friendly. And the atmosphere precisely what you'd want of a wee cake shop/cafe.

Sorprendido de descubrir que pudimos conseguir esto en nuestro viaje de campamento al campamento de Low Wray la semana pasada, y por mucho que disfrutemos cocinando sobre el fuego del campamento, fue un descanso muy bienvenido para los padres (!!) Y los niños (de 13 años y 10) no podría haber sido más feliz ya que aman su pizza. Así que probamos el Hawaiian, el Margherita y sus Pepperoni y todos se declararon deliciosos. Muy bien hecho Al Fresco, pero lástima del National Trust por cancelar su contrato: esta es su última temporada en el campamento. Tenemos la intención de escribir y quejarnos al NT en cuanto a una organización benéfica que pretende defender al proveedor / productor local, esto obviamente no es así.

Staveley chippy is one of the best we’ve been to. Very tasty food and great service. Elliott and his staff are always friendly, smiley and professional. It’s very much part of the Staveley community. The pizzeria next door is amazing too!

The very best Chinese takeaway in flookbough food excellent

Small takeaway but great value. I had salad and a honeycomb crunch and husband had baguette which was stuffed full. Great value for a quick lunch to eat on the way. Obviously used by the locals so worth checking out

This place sells amazon ice cream. The girl behind the counter was really helpful and took time to look after all her customers. Place was a real find.

Poor Sunday fish and chips .. I guess short staffed as long wait and fish was teeny and covered with lots of batter and the chips soggy … the first time ever I have not eaten all my chips !

Simple and tasty .Probably the oldest pizza take away in Kendal.Amazing Garlic bread and cheese ,good quality doner and burgers.I like this place.

I purchased 2 children’s toy trucks after opening them within 5 minutes they fell apart & almost chocked my grandson

Decided to go to milnthorpe chippy after not being in for years as fancied a change and the food was delicious. The price wasn’t too much with good portion sizes, the staff were very helpful and polite and also chatted to me and my younger sister which made the wait better. The customer service was excellent and the young girl who served me was very polite and friendly. I would definitely go again as my experience was excellent.

Our experience here was probably better than average but not as good as very good! Pity there is no “good” category. Tried a few other cafes but everywhere seemed full so called in for a coffee and cake. Very friendly staff and quick service with reasonable prices. Coffee was hot and tasted quite pleasant. No real complaints. Plenty of seating, good choice of food and toilets available.

Convenient location with standard McDonald's fair.

Went in after work (5.30ish) on a Saturday, clearly wasn't busy but still great speedy service! Ordered a mixed kebab with naan and a mushroom/cheese garlic bread. Kebab was huge, had at least 2 sittings to finish it lol. Well worth it!

I have to say, i'm not sure what has happened to the baguette fillings lately, but i have had my usual roma the last twice and was very disappointed. Chicken was too chunky and chewy, some pieces being inedible, just not what they used to be. Ditch the new chicken, its not great. Sorry, but definitely not the same.

Rubbish service. Staff ignored me for 5 minutes whilst i atood waiting to order from the till, even though they repeatedly walked past me. Already driven off before realising burger was cold and greasy, with a half full bag of chips (which considering how small your portions are is pretty shocking) Worst fast food at an expensive price.
