The food at JG Burrito bar is delicious. As well as my savoury burrito I also had a chocolate burrito which was amazing. I'll only have one next time though as they are really filling. We had to wait a little while for the food but it was freshly cooked so we didn't mind. They had a lovely Alice in Wonderland tea party inspired room in the back. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

Short review: Must visit fish & chip in Lancashire, UK. Highly recommended. Detailed review: On our March 2022 trip to Lancaster, Hodgsonâs chippy was on our to-do list. It is a multiple award winning chippy, especially at the start of the millennium. We got to know about this place when we were aimlessly flipping across a book titled, âMake the most of your time in Britainâ Chapter 111: Tracking down the perfect chippy in Lancashire. This accidental browsing in a way encouraged us to plan our trip to the sleepy county town of Lancaster. Must say, we were impressed by this fryer. Open from noon to 8pm on all days besides Sunday, one could order their meal online with the website being very user friendly. We did not use the app, hence cannot comment. There is no dine in option & no delivery. It is a small brown- bricked, curb side pickup located close to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. When you reach the chippy during busy hours, you are handed a device which bleeps/startles you once your meal is ready. In addition to the specials board, there is a small panel which states the origin & variety of the potato and where the cod was caught. The chips, best consumed hot, are giant finger-thick, chunky, creamy and not at all greasy. While writing this review, my mouth has suddenly started salivating, reminiscing about the crunchy breaded haddock and scampi and the mind blowing tartare sauce. The battered cod was tasty and good in its own league, but in a way pales in comparison to the scampi and breaded haddock. Needless to say, the fish was extremely fresh, the food was well seasoned & the entire experience was worth the visit. I am still drooling and tempted to drive up to Lancaster and relive this feast. AhâŠthe power of a great meal! Updated review - summer of 2024 Revisited it on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The place was quite empty. The breaded fish and scampi were still very good. Good tartare sauce and mushy peas. The salt and pepper squid, fish cake and cheesy chips were OK, not great. I would not recommend adding salt and vinegar while placing the order. Instead, buy a bottle to prevent the food from getting soggy. Rookie mistake, I know. Parking near the chippy can be difficult. There are two car parks - Nelson Street car park and Williamson Park Car park around 11 mins walk from the venue. Williamson Park is great on a good clear day. There is a Golocal corner shop bang opposite the chippy for a wider selection of drinks. Enjoy!

It's a typical Greggs. Nothing special about it. Great for a quick bite to eat. TL;DR It's a Greggs.

absolutely shocking service from the MANAGER! asked at drive thru about getting extra toppings and was willing to pay whatever extra. Didnât receive them so I went inside where the manager snatched the tray of ice creams from a colleague of hers that I asked for more. Went round the corner and folded over the corners of the McFlurry and gave it back to me the exact same. She was extremely rude and ignorant. So I left. I went to Morecambe McDonalds and asked for a McFlurry with extra toppings and simple as that. I received it. No need for rudeness- if you wanted me to pay for more tell me when you took the tray not go round the corner and pretend youâre doing it when you arenât. Itâs the huffs and puffs, snatching and blatant rudeness. Itâs not necessary over some McFlurry toppings. PS thank you Morecambe for sorting it out! Simple really

Terrible experience - was going out with my daughter for a special day and decided between trains we had plenty of time to get breakfast in Lancaster ( she decided here). Placed order no receipt dispensed. Waited 15 minutes before they gave out first order on the screen another 12 before ours. Approached the employee who was front of house - asked him how long my order would take as we had a train to catch. He looked confused and said he couldnât see my order - I then asked if I could get a refund (he did communicate with me just walked off our back). After 5 minutes another employee walked up I presumed (wrongly) that she was going to sort out my issue. (She didnât walked straight past me). When I managed to get her attention she just didnât response and carried on dispersing drinks. The 1st employee came back Asked him again - he did go and speak to the shift manager ( she proceeded to ignore him as well). Still no order for in house customers ( both working on getting the Uber eats orders out as priority). Eventually got the attention of shift manager who didnât communicate with me expect to ask my order number - she didnât apologise for the wait or even state itâs busy merely stared at me with distain - like I was something she trodden in. Needless to say I wonât be giving the McDonaldâs anymore of my money - I rather go to BK itâs nicer and cleaner. I had to leave otherwise I had missed out train got it with moments to spare due to long wait. The irony is that would have been quicker going to sit down at the cafe around the corner then it was to get food from the âfast foodâ retailer.

Well over an hour late and the order was wrong - they sent someone else's order to my address and wouldn't believe me when I said that was not what I ordered onlline. They asked me to go and prove it. They blamed me and Just Eat and wouldn't accept any responsibility. I called them idiots as that's exactly what they are (the company - apologies to the girl as she was just trying to help). But the male/owner - never ever experienced customer service like that before. Absolute disgrace arguing with a customer. Soon to be closed on that basis.
