The food was good but very greasy

Decent fish and chips, good portions and fresh, we weren't keen on the gravy .

Best place to get fish and chips, friendly staff service was great phoned nip down and collect order what could be easier.

Arrived just before closing on our way home to Stoke. The 2 female staff couldnt have been more pleasant or obliging...putting in chips to cook fresh for my order. Was even told that as they would take a few minutes, my order would be brought out to my car! Was given a card and told if passing through again to ring ahead and they would have my order ready for collection. The chips were fab and the whole experience was so good that we will definitely go again...thanks

Typical fish & chip shop. Food was very good, service good, short wait. Parking on roads outside without charge. Was open when others in the area weren’t.

Fish and chips were immaculate and the time from a phone order to collect was less than 15 minutes! I'm sure pricing is what it is in the current state, so £9.10 for a fish and chips may be fair.

We've been going on and off over the years but now it's our only one now esp after receiving the wrong order we can't been back in 3 months how however when I mentioned it the woman remembered and she looked after us. Can't ask for more so now it's our only chipoy plus the fish and chips are nice and proper code or haddock you have a choice some others five you what whatever they replace it with

The food is spectacular as well as the service. The Friday night Fryer is the best

Very good top quality fish and chips

It's alright, but twice now I got home to find that they've got the order wrong, and the fish is half the size of other chippies. The chips were okay but a little on the firm side. Chicken was dry, overcooked. Plus they charge ten pence for a plastic bag, it's the only takeaway that I know that does this, everywhere else they exercise their exemption.

Wow and Yum! Beautiful light batter on lovely cod. Perfectly cooked chips too. The curry sauce is the best Ive ever tasted. Shall be using this as my go to chippy from now on.

Highfield fisheries served really good food to takeaway. People working there were friendly and patient. Chips portions could have been a little bigger - ordered 2 large and they seemed smaller than expected, but tasted good. Would go again if I ever fancied a fish and chips.

Great chippy!!! Worth queueing up for. Everything made fresh. Far superior to its competitors...

First visit since lockdown, and had a lovely meal. Fish, battered sausage and chicken, all with chips, and all absolutely delicious! The chips had also been checked for any black bits etc. which is something you hardly see anymore, so I was very impressed. Great coronavirus protection measures in place, and it was lovely to see helpful, happy staff. Will definately be going back again. Thank you.

I always enjoy fish, chips and curry sauce from this chippy. The quality of fish is excellent and the chips are always crisp and fresh. I’d come twice a week if I were allowed!

First visit for a while and the food was good. Could have eaten more chips to be fair but no complaints with what we had.

Called on our way home for a quick meal after our holiday.Can't fault the fish and chips.Best we have had in the area hope to visit again soon.Recommended by a local after coming off the motorway as we were starving after travelling.

Had a really busy day so called at Highfield Chippy.. Asked for "well done" and the haddock in butty with just a requested handful of chips each was delicious.

Lovely chippy that serves great fish and chips not greasy and very fresh fish. Maybe a few more chips would have been good I thought at first, but the size of the fish meant I didn’t need any more chips. Very good and would recommend.

Shocking size. For sausage chips and curry for £4 you expect a decent ammount! Not here... as i reckon i literally had 20 or so chips in the bottom of a big tray (i wish id taken a pic). Was very hungry and not all impressed with the portion size and will not be back!!! :( I'll stick to t'other chippy.

Well it's chippy, mainly old English chip shop, no frills, staff very friendly and the chippy is very popular. For me it's the fish the batter is so thin and crispy perfect and is cooked to order,so if you are having fish order as you walk in .

If you are going to have fish and chips this is the best chippie! It's not often we have them but if we do we go here.......immaculate, lovely staff and lovely food. I have been going for years and always the same high class service and food!

Absolutely brilliant chippy,clean,tidy and the staff are spot on,their menu is varied and very tasty at a reasonable price,Carry on Nish and crew.

Have you ever been in a cleaner chippy.....no. I can't tolerate fish and chips as a rule but no problem here, there is no fat on your paper when you have finished. Immaculate, superb customer service and great food. Highly recommended, no competition comes close.

Today's visit wasn't exactly to this chippy, however, this is my childhood chippy so it will always be the very best!!!

We have had fish and chips from this chippy for a few years now but we have now moved even closer Roll on Fridays!!! Crispy batter,never greasy and friendly staff.

They offer the best fish and chips around and they are really nice people, I recommend you give them a try, I'm sure you will then agree with me that they are the best around.

Good fish and chips at a sensible price

In the middle of a residential area this popular takeaway has limited opening hours. Family live on same street so it's ideal for getting our meals home while still hot. All dishes cooked to order so a short wait is inevitable but worth it.
