The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Norwich East of England

It was a cold and bad day on a Wednesday I believe, me and the kids where looking for a bite to eat but everything around us was extremely busy or shut. Fortunately, there was a small area under the bridge that was open. Mums little kitchen provided brilliant service, giving us fresh food and fast. This resulted in happy kids and full bellies. Mum’s little kitchen not only gave us a good meal, but a good escape from the bustling feeling of other food establishments.

ST JOHNS has to be up there with best fish and chips I've had! Excellent lunchtime deals, amazing portion sizes and fish amazing!

This is an ABSOLUTELY SMASHING fish and chip shop, with its owner fully dedicated to providing you some of the crispiest most delicious fish suppers in the city. The portions are generous and the quality is excellent, you can tell that they are festidious in their cleanliness standards here because every surface shines and you can taste the difference in the quality of the food. The chips are hot and delightful to enjoy, the fish is golden, and so good in quality that you'd compare it closer to something beer-battered in a summertime pub garden dinner than something you've collected on your way home from work during rush hour! Another tip: Try the curry sauce! Sure it's a little different in its consistency to the traditional chip shop curry sauce, but I'm pretty sure this is home made and it's absolutely magical. In what seems a very modest surroundings, the team here at Bishop Bridge should be proud of themselves at the quality of their food, the positivity of their service and how they are creating their own little island of amazingness at the edge of the city.

Just had a great dirty burger & chunky çut chips here, far better than anything from a pub. And about £5 less than they would charge!

Lucy's chips re superb a is the gravy I had - very friendly stll. They se the best potatoes and the chips are always so hot and fresh. Superb!

Came here again recently for lunch with friends. Staff were friendly and service didn't take long, as with previous experiences. Food tastes good, though the wrap was a bit dry at times. But overall, still a decent experience

So called award winning chip shops on the coast,,You could not hold a candle to these guys,, incredible food,cooked to perfection,,not fast food ,you have to wait 15min it's cooked to order,fresh, perfect..

Ordered online for delivery at home, ordered egg fried rice but got noodles on both orders, tiny portions… was supposed to be large boxes but got little no topping when delivered. Very disappointed and not worth the money we spent. Normally really enjoy chopsticks but this time is was not good. Having messaged me seeking to put things right this was there reply. This chip show has gone downhill big time! Has it been taken over? We purchased cod, plaice and a portion of chips on Friday 18/10/2024. Sure it was not cod! Full of oil of some sort, more batter than fish, plaice look good value for money until you tried to cut into it, you needed a carving knife to get through batter then you had to hunt for the fish! Chips hardly edible so most went into the bin. Then spent the weekend feeling ill, up half the night with stomach pains etc.

Delicious and piping hot, unfortunately we recieved 2 battered small sausages instead of a jumbo sausage unbattered and for the 2nd time my fish still hadcskin on.

Do Subway charge £1 for cheese (not extra cheese) on a Meatball Marinara or did the guy just rip me off? Can't believe I actually paid it. Never been mugged before but imagine this is how it feels

Typical McDonald's, you know what you are getting

for £17 we got two small jacket potatoes with okay cheese shoved into a polystyrene tray, with some ice cold garlic bread and two okay cups of diet cola. The only person there seemed about dead on his feet, and only later did anyone appear to clean the tables or actually give the lad any help. so in short, bad presentation, no customer focus, nothing interesting to put on the potatoes. James Martin, if someone with another potato fast food place set up, you would need to innovate or close.

As with every McDonald’s, it’s very busy. The food is just okay, nothing over the top but it’s very affordable and filling.
