The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Harlow East of England

Have eaten fish and chips from My Plaice for a few years and recommended them to friends and family. However the last few times we and others have been disappointed with the chips. They are not being cooked well and are limp and soggy. The potatoes could be the reason but the chips look very pale.

The food has gone down hill at don and bun recently. Having been going since it arrived in Harlow. It a shame that standards have slipped over the past couple of months.

order says delivered but never received it

This is for the second time when I am ordering from here and I didn’t get all the food which I ordered. I hope that next time ai will have a good experience.

Absolutely disgusting place!!! Staff not wearing hair nets. The manager is touching food with dirty hands!!! I witnessed cold chicken nuggets put back in the oven manger to look fresh!!! Absolutely filthy and dirty place!!! Waiting time for the average order is minimum 15 min. The staff behind the counter talking and chatting, completely disrespectful towards customers. Void at all cost!!! Needs new management with fundamental customer service training and health and safety training too. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience!!!

We had a take away from here it was absolutely disgusting a load of slop. No taste and bland Chinese we have ever had. There is better in Harlow Pak loc, golden dragon at the stow and wings try these firstly. Update tonight both feel unwell after eating the food. Do not order from here sorry but this is the truth.

Food ordered 6.15pm after an hour when we rang to find out where food was told it had been delivered to a different address! Was then promised reorded and food was on its way. After another half an hour still not arrived. So requested for refund. This is no way to run a business! Never had this problem before. Will be a long time before they get our custom again.

Ordered food for delivery through Deliveroo. The food was stale, the buns were rock-hard, and the fries tasted like fish. I will never order from them again. They don't seem to be bothered by their ratings either.

Stopped at this McDonald’s for the new breakfast wrap and a tea. It tasted good going down. Seconds after I immediately felt that I wanted to vomit. I made to the toilets inside the restaurant and immediately started to throw up. Five minutes after throwing my guts up I thought I would speak to the manager to inform them of what had happened. To say the wasn’t concerned would be an understatement. I got the usual plateau ‘sorry to hear’ and ‘our food is temperature tested’. She wasn’t overly concerned for my wellbeing or that fact the food they had sold caused someone sick. The lack of concern for a patron was astounding. And the fact they sold food which made some one vomit thier guts up again not a concern shown.

"I ordered a regular popcorn for my son, but unfortunately, they were running low. Instead of frying a fresh batch or informing me about the shortage, the staff just packed whatever was left, filling only about 3/4 of the box. While I understand that stock can run out, I would have appreciated some transparency or an alternative solution. A little effort in customer service goes a long way! Even though I asked the staff but no response. . Wasted my money.
