Mcdonald's Restaurants in Harlow

Stopped at this McDonald’s for the new breakfast wrap and a tea. It tasted good going down. Seconds after I immediately felt that I wanted to vomit. I made to the toilets inside the restaurant and immediately started to throw up. Five minutes after throwing my guts up I thought I would speak to the manager to inform them of what had happened. To say the wasn’t concerned would be an understatement. I got the usual plateau ‘sorry to hear’ and ‘our food is temperature tested’. She wasn’t overly concerned for my wellbeing or that fact the food they had sold caused someone sick. The lack of concern for a patron was astounding. And the fact they sold food which made some one vomit thier guts up again not a concern shown.

Whilst we was nearing the collect point outisde, a man went up to the window to complain about his food being cold. The time they took dealing with him, our order was cold. Because people that work at this mcdonalds are dumb they could not get someone to do the orders whilst some deal with the other man. This McDonalds always messes up something such as missing items. The man also has something missing. The staff said they put fresh food in his bag but it was still cold and nowhere near fresh! Our Dinner was completely RUINED. Thanks a lot McDonalds. Get a grip and serve proper food.

Totally rubbish. Incredibly slow the staff member giving the food out or parking you up to wait is arrogant. shocking place to be honest

Every time I come here the service is slow, rude staff, drive through messes up the order and today I stupidly decided I would have an eat in. Ordered via the self service. Paid and did not get a receipt. I told a member of staff who clearly wasn’t interested and half hour later I’m still standing like an idiot waiting for someone to help me! Spoke to the manager who said I haven’t ordered it. Gone all through the problem again and was told its not on the system. They didn’t bother checking or offer a refund let alone take my order. So I’m out of pocket despite telling them the exact cost and reference !! I WILL NEVER USE THIS BRANCH AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND MCDONALDS HARLOW.

When is a cheeseburger vegan......when it's served at McDonalds. I went through the drive through on my way home from work, ordered Mcplant, took it home. I love these and was settling down to munch it, took a bite and it was NOT the vegan patty. It wasn't worth the petrol and traffic to take it back. I feel disgusted.

Went to have a treat at this fast food restaurant on the weekend. Staffs very friendly and professional. Restaurant nice and clean. Much changed after the refurbishment. Haven’t been here after COVID though. Very rarely go for eat in. Certainly will come Back soon

What part of drive through and fast food is difficult to comprehend? What’s the point of having a drive through if they tell you to park up and make you wait 10 minutes to bring anything out??? Bloody abysmal!

They are incapable of getting a drive through order correct, check everything if you’re using the drive through before driving away from the window!

Worst McDonalds experience. After begrudgingly being given napkins and ketchup and being told I couldn't have cream for my espresso, my young family was treated horribly by management. After ordering 3 happy meals, specifically WITH TOYS, for our sons and two meals for us, our boys were disappointed when they received books instead of toys. We politely asked for them to exchange the books, but they refused to exchange one after it was accidentally opened by my 8 year old. After requesting to speak to the manager, she told me that McDonalds would loose too much money if they made the exchange (???!!!) She then openly welcomed a negative review and told my husband that the reviews made no difference anyway. Disturbingly, when she took my other two children's unopened books back, she did not throw them away, which only leads me to believe she intends to reuse them and give them to other children in spite of them being handled by my children (in order to save McDonalds money)! COVID-19..... We saw staff behave in a similar manner with discarded but unopened sauce packets as well, which is highly suspect all things considered. In light of COVID and the contemptuous attitude of the management I would suggest giving this place a wide berth. Though the manager refused to give us her name and told staff to withhold it as well, we believe the manager we dealt with was named Noya after briefly seeing her name tag.

Worst ever experience in a McDonald's. Although the self service machine accepted my voucher & was paid for, when the food was brought to my table by the manager he demanded more money from me in front of other customers as if I didn't pay very abruptly & unprofessional. I explained that payment had been taken & voucher excepted at machine but he just took the meal away as I wasn't going to be intimated by him standing over me demanding money like I done something wrong. Also when waiting for meal I visited the toilets only to find ketchup all over the cubical wall floor & toilet seats, disgusting.Never going back.

Won't accept £1.99for big mac and fries voucher which you always get when you received a receipt .the shift manager told me that in the moment during the eat out and help out scheme for August they won't accept any vouchers.but all the others 3 mcdonalds in harlow were happy to take but not this one.and when I wrote to the headoffice the only reply each branch manager can refuse anytime any vouchers. Definitely for me the last time I visit this branch

Luckily, there are four McDonalds in Harlow. I would recommend all three above this one. It is overcrowded, some of the staff don’t seem to be working hard enough, a few of the locals aren’t nice, plus the walkway is too long and too narrow. To add insult to injury, seats come at a premium here. The surrounding area’s nice though, and is convenient if visiting the Harvey centre or Water Gardens. I would recommend Burger King or Subway (both Harvey Centre) instead of this allotment.

Ordered food via the counter due to paying cash and very quick and easy! No hassle and no issues with our order. Wasn’t that busy either considering the time of night we visited (6pm). Love the newish extended layout makes it a lot nicer to visit.

This McD's is what you would expect as the norm. The staff are friendly and polite, the tables clean and tidy. The coffee is very good, especially for the price. I see on the reviews that there are plenty of negative comments, but perhaps I was lucky.

This is as expected of a normal chain restaurant, all the same food, drink and service as expected. I would not have expected quality of any other standard

I bet monkeys in zoo’s swinging on rubber tyres suspended from ropes could do a better job. Got home with our order for kids birthday and they’ve missed out a meal despite handing over a clear legible list. Went all the way back and ordered another meal and yes....you guessed it, got it wrong again. I wasn’t the only one there with problems, 2 woman next to me,one they’d missed a drink, the other missing fries. Staff member and manager scrutinising the bill to make sure it’s a legit claim. The human race is doomed!!!!

Missed the film we wanted to see at Cinema so popped into McDonalds to pass some time.... Ordering food was very fast, straight forward and service from the counter was great. Food arrived within 3 minutes and by god it was appalling.Having ordered the Big Mac with bacon (as it was new and I'd not been to McDonalds for months) I was presented with a car-crash of a burger that looked like Edward Scissorhands had prepared it for me.If I was appalled with its presentation, I was enraged by its bland, flavourless taste with the bacon serving only as a visual aid than anything that would appease my taste buds. It tasted of absolutely nothing!!Its safe to say, the meal confirmed why I hadn't been to a McDonalds in months. Although I'm sure some of the food must be OK, the meal I received was not.I would not recommend going to this McDonalds, especially with better restaurants in the near vicinity (Subway being one!)

Went for lunch. Couldn't get auto ordering screen to work, no staff to help. Ordered at counter, and had a little wait. Appears that priority given to very busy drive through orders.

You know what you are likely to receive in Mc D's and this is no different. The place was very clean, the staff efficient and friendly and the coffee for the price is great value.

Big Mac meal,quarter pounder meal six nuggets.went through the drive thru ok but a bit slow.big Mac not got just tepid lettuce a bit brown looked like a bomb had gone off in the box to be honest just thrown together.Fries hot but a very meagre portion.

They always have a chocolate milkshake and friendly staff. I go there so often i must be a member of their fan club x

Always busy and have to queue through restaurant, food was ok. Fries tasted like they had been sitting for a while, should have asked for another portion. Friendly and helpful staff

Always busy but great service, manager on duty was superb, fast but professional. Took orders prompt and gave a good service to everyone even busy. Food was good as we're use at MacDonald's.

Sentir muy decepcionado tanto por el servicio y la limpieza del espacio visitado este sábado. Entiendo que el lugar estaba lleno, sin embargo cuando sirven por la señorita ella parece muy impaciente mientras mis dos hijos jóvenes hay opciones. Estábamos fuera de punta del mostrador. Sin embargo, mientras se registran en junta menú había muchas moscas sentado en que suponer que viene de la cocina y seguir difundiendo al final del restaurante donde estábamos sentados no podía comer allí nos sentimos tan indignado mi hijo tenía una hamburguesa y nos fuimos en coche KFC que no está muy lejos de allí. Entiendo su Macdonald no esperaba mucho de un estándar, pero realmente vuela. Ten cuidado con los conductores que conducir a través de lo que nunca se sabe lo que está sucediendo en la cocina.

for a quick bite this is really great service is quick if you just want a burger and chips to fill the gap

Es un McDonald's pero con un ligero toque que me gusta. Todos los McDonald's en el que he estado nunca he visto uno que puede ver la persona preparan la comida, esto es algo que me gusta mucho. Además, el personal es muy agradable y muy servicial.

I have been in here when out on my motorcycle and it is always rammed with children running around and full of dirty tables.

As for a McDonald's it's a run of the mill fare,drive thru can get very busy and sometimes the burgers or breakfasts are hit or miss but a very convenient place to eat when visiting the retail park

Lovely breakfast ruined by a senior member of staff having a heated conversation sitting in the middle isle of the restaurant leaving myself and other customers feeling uneasy. Completely inappropriate behaviour, I expect more from a well known food chain.

It's just like any other Mcdonalds great food, great service, great value for money. It's herd to fault Mcdonalds

I've had a chicken burger with no burger in it (yes really, I drove back through the drive thru & when asked "can I take your order" I replied "no, but I would like rest of my previous order please!") They're consistent with incorrect under filled mcflurrys, items usually missing, over charged repeatedly and the worst by far was being kept waiting for an HOUR in the park up area, I was furious & I certainly let them know it!The next time I visited & was asked to park up I said no thanks, I'll wait here, I don't have an hour free!One of the girls in there is very rude and when I politely pointed out that I'd asked for no ice, she SNATCHED the cup out of my hand!

Ordered from the drive through. When placing my order I asked for a chicken sandwhich meal and chocolate milkshake and a chicken select meal and Fanta, they put two fantas on the screen and no chocolate milkshake so that was wrong already which I made them aware of. Paid for my ordered and then was waiting at the collection window for a couple of minutes and the woman asks me what we had ordered.? How would they not know what I've ordered, when we got our meal they forgot to hand me the chocolate milkshake so I had to ask for this again. Then we drove and parked up to eat our meals, with the chicken select meal there was no bbq dip in the bag even though we asked for this and chicken select meals should come with the dip.. This McDonald's branch has missed things a few times in the past, again with missing a dip and a cheese burger has been missed before. Yes we can say something at the time of realising whilst sitting in car eating our food but why should we que up again for yet another missed item.. We went to drive through for breakfast last week and they had ran out of tomato sauce and instead handed me festive tomato sauce, to be honest I just think they were trying to get rid of them as its after Christmas.. Who runs out of tomato sauce at 8.30am?

Like all McDonald's, spotlessly clean, and nice contemporary coffee lounge style deco. Very much a drive through, and it's sometimes quicker to park up, go inside, order your takeaway, and drive away than queue at the drive through. Staff friendly and efficient.

We visited at 9.45, it wasn't busy so there were only a few staff serving. We stood behind a family just collecting their meal. The server, Rebecca, walked away from us, so we waited, and waited, the other server was busy at the time, so we kept an eye out for someone else to serve us. Another family came up behind us and Rebecca magically reappeared, ignored us and over my head, spoke to and served the family behind us. Rebecca continued to pretend we weren't there and I went to a different server. Rude but typical of the service I have come to expect from McDonalds. Serves me right for being lazy I suppose and if I had been on my own I would have left without purchasing. The girl who served us did not deal with my complaint and was totally disinterested, fortunately for her, I did not see a name tag.I know that I didn't have an attractive male with me so maybe that's why I was ignored. Mental note to self, need an attractive male!

If you're a gluten free person,seek out James at Macdonalds oaks retails park. He knows what he's talking about and couldn't be more helpful.He supervised my meal and even brought it to our table. I felt more confident eating there than I have in many a restaurant! James also gave me an info sheet to explain what sauces & desserts i can have.Helpful for thefuture.

Working silly shift sometimes all I want is food and 2 get home. 2 occasions now ive driven up and been politely informed drive thrus closed would I like to come in. Having recently injured my leg walking is painful so not an option. Regretful as theyre turning business away.

Used drive through at breakfast time. Ordered a bacon roll with no sauce and a white coffee.Got to my destination 5 minutes away to find that I had a bacon roll with tomato sauce and a black coffee that was only luke warm.

Situated bang in the middle of the town centre. What else can I say - has all the McD products you want. Gets busy at lunch times and service is very good.

The staff not very inviting. Food is served cold and the coffee is served just warm. Tried to speak to the staff about serving hot coffee and god a cold shoulder. Hopeless!

Its a Saturday or sunday lunchtime and you are feeling hungry. Spend 20 mins just to get in and parked up. You had to try and avoid people with massives trolleys shopping at B&Q
