I have had Fish and chips quite a few times from this shop, the only downside is the quality of the chips, I have always received stale reheated chips mixed in with fresh chips. Having said that it is also true that their fish is the best in the town, the quality of the fish is what makes me return to this shop, I just wish the chips were top notch too.

Dropped by on the way home for dinner and was happy there was a great deal on Mondays where you buy any chips you get free chips so 2 cod and chips cost £9.80 bargain!The chips and fish were both fresh and delicious, best fish & chips I have had in Harlow for a long time.Staff friendly and service was excellent.Would recommend and I will be back in the future.

Just tried My Plaice for the first time and it’s definitely the best fish and chips in Harlow town. It’s freshly cooked with a thin coating of batter on the fish. Plus they’ve got really good deals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The service was good as both people working there were really friendly even though we turned up about 15 mins before they close. Would highly recommend!

Order food for a Friday night takeaway turned up on time but only some of the order phoned the shop to tell them and all I got was it’ll be an hour as we are busy what a joke

The food is gorgeous and reasonably priced and portions are generous. The curry sauce is lovely. We ordered takeaway for the three of us. We use them when we fancy fish and Chips seaside fish and Chips in Harlow.

All fish freshly cooked while you wait. Great chips and a fabulously fruity curry sauce. Some great daily deals make it even better value. This is without doubt the best chippy in the town!

Wether you enjoy Fish and Chips or a Doner Kebab My Plaice offer both and are always excellent value. If you don't ring up and order before you collect be prepared to wait while they cook it fresh for you but its worth it. The Kebabs are ram packed and great value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Midweek deals and a delivery service on orders over £10.
