Clean, tidy, cheap, nice place to watch sport , darts, pool. I like it no hassle easy just of the track in Yarmouth centre. Nice staff good place to have a beer

Recently visited here as our regular place in North Walsham was closed due to works. We called ahead to preorder, which we didn’t see the point of doing as it wasn’t ready when we arrived on time and had to wait a further 15minutes. I had the fish bites, which had the skin on, and with hardly any fish. If you managed to find the fish it was so overcooked it was chewy to eat. I had to throw them all away. The chips weren’t anything to shout about; they were edible. My partner’s medium skinless fish was ok. I will never go here again… If our favourite place is shut then we will wait until they’re open again.

this ice cream van is horrible. i payed 4 an ice cream and it ran away with my money! i bought an ice cream for me and my son, and he was sad that I didn't have the ice cream.

This is a takeaway that's why I didn't put anything in the atmosphere box, the fish and chips we had tasted so good and freshly cooked.

We visited Caister for our 20th anniversary and whilst walking to the beach we passed this lovely fish and chip shop! So glad we did as it was absolutely lovely, we took it to the beach to eat, the cod was amazing and the chips were good too, so good that we went back the next day to be welcomed by Nobby, thank you and can’t wait to return again next year! no ive not tried these guys just yet but will be in a few weeks as my very top chippy has retired from brewers chips saloon who i loved his various sauces, especially the blue cheese one. so after googling for best chippie on great yarmouth and all the fab reviews, these guys near the mushy peas will be my first choice but im not sure i fancy any there sauces, shame as i loved dipping chips in blue cheese and prior to that was ranch sauce but it kept going off in the hot weather. be fab if they could do a few different sauces

Highly disagree with the bad reviews as this place is now called "starvin marvins" And the person giving a 1 star review because the tables are at the side , is forgetting this is a small family run business it's quite small ,in fact it's more like a stall most don't bother with ANY seating , I think the fact they put somthing there was considerate for families ,there the cheapest and nicest food , it's the FIRST place I go when I go to Hemsby, legendary milkshakes ,always friendly staff , a must to visit and oppisite is there sweet shop which my husband loves there American section 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Our go to fish and chip shop, used for years now, the quality is simple the best every time, the members of staff and owner are always friendly, would recommend all the time.

First of all it smelt like gas when we went in, never a good start. Got our order wrong and gave us more than we ordered. The batter on the fish tasted like it was old, chips wernt very nice either. We were on holiday nearby andnwas recommended here wasnt a very good start to our holiday unfortunately. Very disappointing. The only nice thing was the sausage which one of us in our party had but you cant really go wrong with those!

Very friendly staff, first class service, and freshly prepared fish and chips, cooked while you wait, and the fish and chips were delicious, and very good value for money. This is a little gem tucked away , but definitely worth the visit.

We love to come to JJ’s when we visit Gorleston-on-Sea and unfortunately the only reason we have dropped a star off is because on our last few visits the fish and chips / hot food have been served up on stone cold plates. There is nothing worse than putting hot food on cold plates as it goes cold so quickly. unfortunately that has made us think twice about coming again as cold fish and chips are not the nicest. It’s a small oversight that makes a big impact to the enjoyment of the customer eating their food and we know we’re not the only ones who’ve noticed this as we have often overheard people commenting who are sitting there by. So JJs come on it’s a small thing having hot plates for hot food So fingers crossed, this can be rectified.
