The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Fast food food

If the people of Hawkshead think this is a decent fish and chip shop i feel for them!!! Chips left stagnant under the heaters, they ended up soggy and tasted of cold grease. The fish was done fresh but no seasoning at all so despite it being hot and crisp is was completely tasteless. Sausage was so dry and wrinkled I dread to think how long it was under the heater for! The curry sauce was not a sauce it was just thick cold paste! The peas again had no taste. Felt horrendous after eating some of it (it got binned) and felt even worse the morning after. Woeful!!!

Ordered from Just Eat at 3.45pm for delivery later in the evening. Food didn’t arrive so I reported it to JE. They gave a delayed delivery time which also came and went so I rang up. They promised it would be with me in five minutes and also promised they’d call back within 5 minutes after they spoke to the driver. Ten minutes later I called them again. They were very rude, saying “it’s not my fault”. When I asked then whose fault it was then because it certainly wasn’t mine they told me to get a refund from JE and slammed the phone down! By this time it was 7.30pm, my husband was needing to go to bed very soon because he starts work at 3am and he’s had no dinner after working a 12+ hour shift in a physical job! I was just scratching around in our rather empty food cupboard (Tesco food shop is coming tomorrow) to try and find something to quickly rustle up that he could eat when there was a knock on the door. Lo and behold, it was our order. The driver stood on our doorstep, begging for forgiveness and asking us not to report him because he’d get sacked. It was embarrassing to watch. Obviously by now the food was cold and almost inedible, but we didn’t really have much choice than to eat it anyway, it was disgusting!

Food was excellent , service friendly and efficient, overall lovely experience. Will definitely be back.

The staff were not pleasant. I only wanted to order some cold drinks, and the ladies serving were very rude and snide. Will go to Dunnotar Castle again, but will not use this catering cart again.

Very good customer service excellent range of food types good portions on the chips which I like that they have kept the chipy chips always fresh food and good banter nice bunch of people and no problem mending a error

Arguably the best kebab shop I've ever been to, friendly and accommodating.

£12 for a small tray of donner and chicken with a separate pitta. I ordered a kebab not a tray of meat

Feeling hungry at the end of the night I fancied some fried chicken. So I popped along to my local Tennessee Chicken and ordered a Mini fillet Box meal. Things did look good when I noticed they put more fillets in my box than I ordered. But when I got home things went pretty bad. To start of the chips were cold and look liked they have been sat around in the hot plate for a while. Then came the chicken it was dry and totally horrible must of been sat around for ages. Could not eat it put it in the food bin best place for it.

Lovely kebab and pizza ordered from here, not seen a separate salad served in a tupperware box for kebabs before but a great idea for takeaway kebabs to prevent sogginess. Pizza was well cooked and the doner kebab well prepared and very tasty. I journeyed from Hartington to pick this up so a 20ish mile round trip. Recommended!

I have been a la Citta customer for quite a while but i have had second thoughts after this evening. I asked for two basic meals, one large and one medium but they just couldn't understand and one of them kept pointing to the meal deal which was not the correct size meal i wanted. I reluctantly took the medium because i could feel my rage temper coming over me and i thought i'm going to lose it and that would not be a pleasant experience. Not a nice experience, their facial expressions and whole demeanour was off. They don't value long term customers. Service has gone down the toilet in this place. Avoid!!!!

I have used Barrow takeaway for years and it has never disappointed until tonight. I ordered chicken and cashew nut and it was like an English stew, celery, carrots, huge pieces of onion, some Chinese veg chopped very small, incipit pieces of bland white chicken and watery sauce. It was the worst Chinese dish I have ever had, to top it all the chips were n cold and soggy. Will not be back refund or no refund.

Order chicken dinner and it was awful chicken slices out of packet and 2 potatoes and the service was terrible had to wait half an hour on it won't be back

Tuvimos comida entregada hoy 28 / 11 en torno a las 6. 30 era pollo con papas fritas Hemos tenido comida entregada antes y ha sido muy buena Sin embargo esta noche muy decepcionado patatas fritas estaban empapadas y frías (todo se fue en papelera ) por lo que arruinó toda la comida no creo que vamos a volver a comer aquí

The food is always good but their customer service is a joke. Twice we have been to the shop and ordered food only to come home and find oder missing. When we call they never accept blame and make us pay more for food we have already ordered and paid for.

He estado pidiendo de estos chicos durante siglos y nunca tuve una mala comida. Esta noche hice el pedido a las 7 pm y me lo entregaron a las 7. 30 pm. La comida estaba casi fría y tuvo que calentarse en el microondas. Después de un par de bocados de pollo me di cuenta de que era rosa y lo descarté. También había pedido patatas fritas grandes que anteriormente habían sido una caja entera, pero lo que recibí fue una bolsa pequeña. Desgracia absoluta y si estoy enfermo por comer pollo crudo entonces lo informaré. Muy decepcionante.
