The staff were not pleasant. I only wanted to order some cold drinks, and the ladies serving were very rude and snide. Will go to Dunnotar Castle again, but will not use this catering cart again.

Lovely gentleman who served myself & my partner today! Very friendly and welcoming, even treated our little pup to a cup of sausages 🥺🫶🏽! Highly recommend! Amazing food for a great price also. Definitely coming back again 😌

After visiting the castle we saw this cafe on the way to the car on the intention to get drinks. However, my two teenage daughters' "twisted" my arm and asked for a hot dog. So glad they did. We all had a hot dog, apart from my wife who had a Chicken Fillet and Chips. Food is good and decently priced. Drinks are expensive and you have to hope there is seating available hence not the 5 stars. However, if this is a day trip, then leave your lunch and have a snack here, but just bring your own cold drinks and a seat (just in case!)

Det finns inget café eller servering nere vid Dunnottar Castle, istället får man vända sig till en ”matlåda” uppe vid bilparkeringen, 500 meter bort. Här jobbar flink personal med typisk skotsk snabbmat. Ingen kulinarisk höjdare, men kaffe och skaffning var OK. Däremot var där stor brist på stolar och bord.

55-57 High StreetDecent take away with gold VFM especially chicken fillet super! Does chip shop, kebabs, pizzas and burgers. All good sizes. Pizzas get a tad expensive but 2-3 toppings on standard 10 inch is reasonable. Use the app, ready when arrive!

38 Berrymuir Road, Portlethen AB12 4UF ScotlandThe food is definitely ok. Unfortunately the member of staff that served me was offhand bordering on rude. I don't expect to be spoken to as it if am doing a favour by entering and actually ordering something. Perhaps the staff member needs to be reminded why she has been employed.
