Pizza La Citta in Salford

I have been a la Citta customer for quite a while but i have had second thoughts after this evening. I asked for two basic meals, one large and one medium but they just couldn't understand and one of them kept pointing to the meal deal which was not the correct size meal i wanted. I reluctantly took the medium because i could feel my rage temper coming over me and i thought i'm going to lose it and that would not be a pleasant experience. Not a nice experience, their facial expressions and whole demeanour was off. They don't value long term customers. Service has gone down the toilet in this place. Avoid!!!!

Amazing food as always .... Always hot when arrived aswell . Definitely try the chilli con carne burger it’s so nice . Great choice of food . Would love if they did burgers with has brown too please add it to your menu . Thanks again

Ordered a Pizza and the Dough of it was really really bad, felt old, also the donnor felt like Plastic while eating it, really disappointed.

Second order here, just as happy! Well nice chicken and shish kebabs. V fresh salad and nice sauces. Jalapeño cheese flame things are proper too.

Great tasting pizza just i ordered a large and got a small not sure if thia is a glitch on deliveroo or mine but for 11 quid i expected a large not a small

Stuff missing from order. Tried for over an hour to resolve the issue. Nothing. Couldn’t even get a refund for the stuff that was missing

Chicken & Doner kebab - very nice. The Doner meat was just Doner meat (nice, if you like Doner meat), but the chicken was extremely tasty. Cheesy chips - they were spotty dog, I loved them. All in all, I'd gladly order from here again, if I'm in back in the area

Food was bland, kabab tasted like bitting into gravel and the shish was too fatty. The whole thig was cold on arrival. The cold grilled chicken was nice though. Chips - no go, they were stone cold so you can guess how they tasted. Wont go again but hope it improves.

Food wasn’t cooked to a good standard the kebab was rubbery and the bread was stiff! Chips were rubbery and cold and the pizza wasn’t cooked long enough. When I called the man I spoke to was rude and said I demanded my money back when I simply said are you going to resolve the issue or should I go through just eat and put a bad review and he hung up on me after saying he’s had 100customers and none complained asif we all have the same taste pallets and food standards!

Just Eat warmed me it’d be late, but it was only 10 mins. Pizza was superb though so more than made up for it.

I live keto and get 1 carb day a month and I am truly gutted I wasted it on the most average food I ever ate the prices here are way too high and the food is just generic standard fare being sold at twice the price it warrants and all I can say about all the good reviews this place has is that people must be ordering from here after a night on the ale or they just dont know how good a quality takeaway can be but this place is just over priced and so standard it's like tinned takeaway.

Never an issue ordering from these guys. Always good food and delivery was much quicker than Just Eat's estimate.

Ordered a pepperoni and smoked sausage with sun dried tomato pizza , but I think they just accidentally dropped few slices of sausage on a garlic cheese bread ...I’m not exaggerating

Very tasty chicken kebab and the chilli sauce was good.

Usually ok enough, but sadly the food was about half an hour late, warm, but not hot. The kebab was missing the garlic sauce and only the meat was in the naan (salad separate). Reasonable portion size, but not great quality. The garlic bread was bland, and overcooked. The chips were soggy, undercooked, and barely warm. A bizarre mixed bag overcooked and undercooked. To their credit, the cans were properly chilled, which is always good to see from a takeaway.

Great quality pizza. Would recommend and the delivery driver follows the instructions you leave on the order note. Would order again without a doubt.

Ordered a couple of times today everything was smaller then usual like I ordered large fries and it came in a smaller box that I am assuming is a regular and the wraps I ordered where only 2/3 it’s normal size but nice food 👍🏼

Food was great as always, and the pizza was made so prettily today! It was so nice that someone took the time to make it look so neat. Also the driver was right on time and really lovely too. Always pleased with the food we get here, a house favourite :)

Kebab meat genuinely tasted like dog food. Absolutely vile couldn’t stomach more than one bite. My cat enjoyed it though

Food arrive warm and really quickly. We are vegan and have few options at a takeaway, but the falafel wrap was surprisingly tasty.

When I phoned them up asking about our order they answered the phone in a very loud place so they couldn’t hear me. They were incredibly rude and condescending and unhelpful. They refused to check my details in their system repeatedly. And continued to claim they never received my order. I have never experience such rude and unprofessional behaviour! Food was really tasty and delivered nice and hot. Only problem was the mixed kebab 2 didn’t have any donner meat on it. It was only shish and not a mixed kebab. Tried calling the restaurant but could not get through. Still, as a shish kebab it was very nice. Ordered quite a lot of times from here, the food is always good, probably the best kebabs in Manchester so willing to forgive what I hope is a one off :)

Food was average and cold. Food was delivered 40 minutes later than they initially said. Pizza was cold and chips were soggy. Disappointing.

My burger was nice, but the fries were overdone and the chicken strippers were different from usual and much lower quality. Girlfriend liked her chicken burger. Hopefully just a blip, usually very good here.

The pizza was covered in mushrooms that I absolutely hate and mushrooms were not supposed to be on the pizza I ordered. Life is ruined.

Arrivati a Manchester verso le 23 abbiamo trovato subito questo locale aperto, tipico posto salva vita quando ormai in città è tutto chiuso. Panini molto buoni, posto molto alla mano ed il personale si è dimostrato davvero gentile con noi che non parliamo molto bene l'inglese. Grazie!

Was okay but not as good as expected, kebab was dry and chips weren't very nice, portions of garlic sauce are tiny.

My girlfriend and I had couple drink and try to pay by card and the person at the till couldn’t even speak English and started shouting at me in an abusive manner I would like the manager to deal with this and knowing basic English just to communicate isn’t much to ask. Absolute joke.

Time - Fast it’s that quick we just about found time to find something on Netflix’s before it was at the door !!! Haha Food - fresh, hot, taste was bang on !! can’t fault it Value for money It was recommended to me by a friend and I’ve recommend it to others !!! I hardly ever Review anything but this place needed it !!!!!!!! Be ordering again soon !!!

Mixed kebab is absolutely disgusting only got chicken a couple pieces of lamb lettuce not fresh at all naan bread soggy and crispy chicken kebab soggy chicken kebab more like will not be ordering from here again straight in the bin

I made a mistake with the contact details so they had to come twice the food was great and they were really understanding and great about the whole mix up

Great as always, they operate like all restaurants should. Order Burger King or kfc and you’ll get stone cold food every time, these guys are consistently good.

Pizza was perfect but chips and onion rings were not cooked absolutely disgusting it was as if the pizza was ready so they rushed the chips and onion rings shame really considering my brother got a burger and chips the night before and it was perfect no consistency

The food and delivery were fine but when I tried phoning to explain I had a missing item the man I spoke to was quite abrupt and said “we are busy it will be another 40 minutes minimum”. I completely appreciate businesses being busy and struggling to meet demands etc but the fact they missed it in the first place and then excused themselves with no apology put me off using this restaurant again. The man also hung up on me before answering my question on how to get the item refunded.

Love food disappointed in quantity ordered regular kebabs this time ordered large there was hardly any meat in kebabs seem to got more in regular kebabs not happy at all love the food

Food was 20 minutes late, therefore not as hot as it should’ve been. If you look at my order you’ll see I ordered a calzone which I didn’t revive, I got a normal pizza. I normally order burgers from this place and have no problems but I wanted to try a pizza from here, won’t be doing that again.

Staying at nearby travelodge, we went for a walk and came across this takeaway, I ordered kebab delight pizza and asked for garlic mayo and chilli sauce, we got the sauces free of charge, we got to our room and opened the box, the pizza looked amazing and the taste was also delightful, great friendly staff.

Poor quality food, and Even worse customer service. I wasn't notified the driver had arrived and I also left a special request for the driver to use the communal intercom system for the building to notify me on arrival, this wasn't done. I had an email to tell me my order was on hold and upon calling the restaurant to clarify this was told very abruptly the driver was outside and had been for 15 minutes! When I went out to collect the driver was very rude and quite angry and demanded to know why I hadn't answered the phone. I never received a phone call and the intercom wasn't used as requested. So therefore I had 2 counts of bad and angry customer service and freezing cold, inedible by this point food. I will not be recommending this service. Very poor

I don’t usually leave a review but I was really impressed with my food. Particularly enjoyed the donner kebab, was very tasty! Food was nice and hot. Will definitely be ordering again. Moreover I was very happy with the service. Usually I have trouble in getting the food delivered to my door due to residing in the apartment but the delivery was as requested with no fuss! Arrived on time but parts of our order were missing.

Received a call to say my driver was here, went down to get food. No sign after 5 minutes so called, driver said he was at the building just down from mine. Waited 5 more minutes. Still no driver. Called again. He was still at the building down from mine. 10 minutes later I called and he said he was at the building down from mine still and couldn't find mine, despite my clear instructions as to where to get to my flat from the one he was at. Over 20 minutes after the original phone call to say my food was here, I got my cold food...
