Such a good atmosphere in this pub. Came for a couple of drinks whilst watching the football with the comfy sofa and good range of drinks. Dougie the landlord is friendly and accommodating, has transformed this pub into such a good place to come for a drink and socialise. Will definitely be returning

Couldn’t see any signage that says you have to order on your phone only - so much wasted time queuing at the counter only to be told it’s only for drink. How weird. Generally very awkward experience dining in alone. Definitely set up better for groups. I was excited for the pizza as it had gotten a lot of hype but it was incredible mediocre and not memorable. Prob wouldn’t bother again.

Very odd experience. From the reviews it seems like this is a place for British food, and it looks authentic. However the latest menu is for Japanese cuisine with very limited choices… and I doubt that the high review score was for the (former?) British cuisine. Okay so we popped in and ordered ramen £16 and chicken katsu £15. The only authentic thing is the rice itself (how it’s steamed, but not the entire dish). The noodles are not the type you’d expect. The soup was localised indeed but the bowl was still overly salty, came in small portion with only two thin slices of pork shoulder. Plus 10% service charge. And there was a FLY around us and the kitchen area!

Stopped by for a relaxed beer and was pleasantly surprised to find a proper Helles on tap. Great atmosphere, crisp and refreshing brews, and friendly service. Highly recommended.

I ordered iced cocoa and rose drink and it was delicious! Good alternative if you like chocolate but want to cool in warm days. Service super friendly and the place cute itself:)
