The best pizza in Bristol!!! Highly recommend buying the dough to use at home, it is sensational. The owner is so friendly and passionate and helped us out with some last minute dough even though you are supposed to order ahead. We love this place and keep coming back

my pizza still hadn’t appeared by the time my gf had nearly finished hers. To make matters worse, when I went in to enquire where my pizza was I was told it would be “out in two minutes with a complimentary dip as an apology” I found that quite insulting to be honest so just asked for my pizza to be boxed and refunded. Which, to their credit, they did. When the guy eventually brought my boxed pizza out, he couldn’t have been less enthusiastic. Just handed it to me and mumbled something. Rather poor. Certainly not turning a negative into a positive. Which is rule #1 in customer service. Also, sadly, the ‘Nutella dough balls’ did not contain Nutella as one would expect. They were simply standard Doug balls with some Nutella sparsely drizzled over them. All in all a Cute little place but an underwhelming experience.

ThE most lovely staff - vibe of a venue, music on point and the pizza is 2nd to none in Bristol - they have the most amazing dips for your crusts as well - top tier, honestly sailed to the top of the list for pizza in Briz

I'm so glad I finally got to experience Can Can Pizza ! During my last visit to Bristol to see my mum, it was closed, so I was excited to try it this time. We ordered two pizzas to share, and each one was absolutely delicious! . We were craving a Nutella calzone, which holds special memories for me and my daughter. We asked the chef and he kindly made us two mini ones -which were delicious!! 😋 and we also got to enjoy their dough balls with Nutella. They were absolutely divine! Hats off to this fantastic little independent pizza place—I will definitely be back.

So context, we ordered 3 pizzas - And now I’m allowed to say, best pizza in Bristol (I’ve had a few) and best pizza I’ve ever eaten. 100% worth the effort if you have to travel. Walk too fast and you’ll miss it! Quite literally a hole in the wall and a hidden gem. They’ve renovated the inside beautifully and it’s a great relaxed place for a beer/cider and a thin & delicious pizza. Not stodgy at all, fresh ingredients, and loads of choice with the ability to select your own unique toppings. Great service too. The garlic & herb dip is gorgeous x

Great pizzas and the staff are wonderful! I ordered the Carciofo Al finochio from the specials board and it was delicious. 😍 great amount of topping and cooked perfectly! There was a group of 5 of us and we all left impressed with the service! Only thing I’d say is they didn’t all come out at once so if going as a group like we did some could be waiting for theirs longer than others. I would highly recommend this place and will be returning here! 😊

I've walked past countless times and wondered if the place down the alleyway was any good. Finally went and it is. I think it might be better than any of the pizza on north street. Great beer selection too with cans from local breweries.

These guys saved our night!! We got there just as they closed but they clearly saw the disappointment on our face and stay a little longer and cooked us 2 of the best pizzas we’ve had in ages 🍕 the hot honey drizzle absolutely slapped and the garlic dip 🤩🤩🤩(even though my boyfriend dropped it on the way home so we only had a little bit) 11/10 love love love xxxx

Delicious fresh pizza and garlic bread, plus ice cream. Take away or eat in; has a small casual dining area (wooden benches) indoor and outdoor. Has a wide selection of drinks. Can also take pizza over the road to eat in Alpha Bottle Shop for a wider range of beer options. Recommended!

I take my 2 kids, 9 and 11, out to independent pizza places in Bristol and with one bite of Can Can pizza, they both said its the best they have ever had. It's simple, well done, balanced and comes piping hot and with some great crust dip options. We had margarita and a piquant salami. The only thing the menu is missing is a super hot sauce (our fave) but wouldn't mark down as a result. If you are looking for fresh, delicious pizza in a charming, backyard setting then this is the one. Its a hidden gem that should have queues out the door. The chap who made the pizza was also super friendly and we will 100% be coming again. Priced reasonably enough that it could become a weekly fix. Il be trying the specials next time as they looked banging!

Where to even start? Incredible pizza, if you haven’t tried this yet, run go there and eat asap! It’s an absolute gem, from pizza dough to array of great toppings this place has it all for me. Proper Neapolitan style and done right! So skimping on flavour or produce, plenty of cheese also which a lot of pizza gaffs do you over on, but not here that mozzarella is to die for! Service is quick and easy, nice seating area outside and inside and huge choice of drinks! Please go visit them! I don’t give out 5stars on food regularly but I would give this 6! My third visit and probably end up as 30 or more!

Delicious. Have had many pizzas both from CanCan and at a few markets from their sister company The Pizza Rocket. Always amazing and full of flavour. Best dough in Bristol in my opinion. I love the marinara and ‘nduja and garlic aoli dips. Always something new to explore on the menu as there are so many toppings to choose from and they have a monthly special.

Unbelievable!!!! The dough balls were out of this world. Pizza just spot on. The sauces are all so good I could have eaten them on their own - I tried four different ones! The owner was lovely and the setting was great too. Top notch 👌

Banging pizza and garlic butter dough balls. Heavy hit of garlic, cheese on the pizza did not do a slip n slide, and the dough was like a fluffy cloud. Parmesan mayo is now a must! Also drink selection is better than your closest off-licence.

This is a takeaway pizza place with some tables and benches, should you want to eat there. But it is not a restaurant (which I knew before going). So I give it 5 stars because the pizza was delicious and the service quick and friendly. Had lots of drinks options too.

Excellent pizza. I normally leave the crusts but the dough was so amazing, especially with the crust dips - we tried baconnaise and chilli jam marscapone - couldn’t decide which was better as both delicious! Plenty of room to eat in, we visited with two prams and accommodating us was not a problem.

My genuine vote for best pizza in Bristol. The dough is perfect and the range of toppings is great. The garlic dough balls are massive and pillowy, and I would happily drown in a vat of the parmesan mayo. Great staff, great space, great music, great selection of cans. Long live CanCanPizza!

Really great food with a good variety! We had the pepperoni, and tried the new pesto base with peppers and artichoke and it was all delicious

Best pizza in Bristol. Dough is excellent. You can tell the person making the pizza, loves pizza. Also, they are trying to keep their beverage costs very reasonable. A rarity in todays age.

WOWZA!! From start to finish everything was incredible. The pizza is delicious, with a perfect crust and generous on toppings - which are all superb and great choices of flavours for veggie and meat eaters. Must try pizza crust dips as well! Service cannot be faulted - so friendly and generous. Would 100% recommend and will be going back again

Dinner with good friends on a Monday night. Funky music, nice and causal, with lots of drinks selection in big exposed fridges. Eddie and Poppy (sp) both delightful; really friendly and funny and we felt very at home. This is a great start, even without delicious pizza. But the pizzas were absolute showstoppers. Delicious, authentic, artisan pizzas, generous size, home made dough, care and attention with designing the menu. Meal for 2 with alcoholic drinks, under £50. Will be back.

Having read all the glowing reviews we really wanted to love this place but sadly, it didn’t deliver. Didn’t really feel like a Neapolitan pizza - dough was extremely heavy and the cheese and tomato was quite average tasting. It’s left me a bit stumped as to why there are so many 5 star reviews - might have been an off day?

CanCan has become my go-to pizza spot in Bristol. They have lots of options to customise your own or great set options and weekly specials. We're really missing the mortadella and pistachio pizza though—bring it back, please! :)

Lovely flavour pizza but was not cooked anywhere near enough. The slice could not be hel with out the middle falling out. Even the outer crust was not done enough. So disappointed after seeing 5 star reviews. Clearly being done on an timer as you could hear it ringing, but you could see the pizzas coming out weren't done properly!

Just had our first delivery, Uber eats was bit slack on the delivery but even so this pizza is next level ! Saw it reviewed on TikTok so decided to order, had the garlic bread, pepperoni, carne picante and Finocchiona pizzas. Might be the best pizza we’ve ever eaten ! Can deffo see what all the fuss is about, will drive down and collect myself next time to get it at its best. Highly recommend !!!!!

Got to be some of the best pizza I’ve had in Bristol!! Lovely quiet spot tucked off the main road through bedminister. Chilled atmosphere and kitchen.

This place is a hidden flawed gem , basic and informal reasonably priced and deserves to do well . I picked my toppings which were a little frugal as the spicy sausage were little tasteless crumbs but otherwise i made some good choices 😉with the hot honey being the winner. The Bristol pizza market has some seriously great contenders so CanCanpizza has its work cut out. I tried my daughter’s margarita pizza as she wasnt raving as i was and this is a pizza that will show the flaws. The big issue that holds this place back is the tomato base , so important to an outstanding pizza . Cancans was pretty bland and generic which fortunately was compensated for with my hot honey which brought it to life but was disappointing on the basic . So for me at the moment this is an also ran but a welcome addition to East Street and worth a visit.
