Amazing food, loved it with kids

Absolutely a fantastic Italian pizza. The only downside, was it was cold on delivery!! Such a shame, as I would become a regular customer!!!

I asked for fried bread and got soggy toast. It was cold. I think you need to put the beans in a separate container as it made the food soggy

Worst breakfast we've ever had. Me and two others took the sausages and bacon home for the dog. Eggs hard, would've asked for fresh ones but no staff to be seen. Service was appalling especially as they weren't even busy Saturday morning. Have been before but won't be back. Such a shame.

Firstly, what a beautiful little place this café has become (once was a pizzeria that had been around for decades). I'm always hesitant when it comes to corner cafés but this one didn't disappoint. The pricing of the food is on point, may I say a little honest. I tried the full English,which from most places can be dull and boring, which was cooked swiftly and beautifully (first place I have had a seasoned breakfast in years!). Everything from the tomatoes to the eggs (what were both seasoned and the eggs runny, the tomatoes as fresh as you can get). The espresso I had, had a lovely punch to it too. The staff were friendly and humble, and the cook had a massive smile on his face when I said I was more than happy with the food. I will be coming here again and look forward to trying the eggs benedict in the future and their evening selection (which I have been told is exquisite too). Dane

burger bun was like cardboard pasta meal was bland onion rings was more batter then onion pizza was meant to have sea food only had 2 prawns and rest muscles and had to heat pizza up as was cold dessert was put on hot food so melted and hot sent a can of coke said multipack not to be sold separately and charged 2.50 and when ordered said bottle chips was hard not cooked all way through to spend £46 pound on meal is a joke to end up in bin will not go back here and ordered again

I popped in today while waiting for the library to open. I enjoyed my scrambled egg on toast with cappuccino; the service was friendly and quick and the place was clean with a warm and bright atmosphere. Very glad Upper Horfield has a place like this as it has historically been a bit of a wasteland for sit in food service.

This place has now been open for a while and all the positive reviews are not misplaced - good welcome, clean tables and tea in a teapot (rather than a teabag in a mug/cup) always tastes much better in a teapot - excellent fudge cake and ice-cream a great choice mad by us - other facilities are clean and spacious - keep up the good work

The Avenue Kitchen opened recently and is reasonably close to my home. I am an elderly gent restricted to a mobility scooter, often accompanied by my dog. I enjoy the small breakfast from their menu: the portions are near perfect for my small appetite. Sometimes I just enjoy sitting al fresco drinking coffee or a glass of wine and "watching all the girls go by," LOLZ Although my usual fare is the small breakfast (they do have a larger breakfast also on their menu) although I have tried other dishes. Everything I've had has been delicious and nicely presented and the prices are very reaonable: small breakfast and a cup of coffee for under a tenner can't be bad! I hesitate to mention my one disappontment but do so for the sake of full honesty: the bacom is always over-cooked and dried up even though the rest of the meal is near perfect. The staff are always helpful and sympathetic with my frailties: I always feel welcome here and the cook often brings a little treat for my dog. In conclusion I am happy to recommend The Avenue Kitchen and will continue to visit them about three times a week.

Looking for breakfast We were lucky to come across Avenue Kitchen. It had inviting decor and was incredibly clean. We had poached eggs hollandaise sauce on muffins one with bacon and one with mushrooms and spinach. Both very tasty. Lovely hot chocolate and cappuccino. Gabbi (I think that was her name) was incredibly friendly and helpful and the chef was very smiley. Its a cafe bar-restaurant so you eat at any time. All in all great value for money and would definitely recommend. 5*

Visited twice over the weekend, once on Saturday night before going out on the town and then the following morning for breakfast. Such nice food, great service too. Will be back again.

The family took me to The Avenue Kitchen for my 64th birthday complete with a 6 grandchildren and we had a wonderful time. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the service was unbelievable! Considering we were a large party, all of the food came out together and was delicious! We will definitely be back and thanks for everything.

Kitchen Avenue is our favourite cafe in Bristol. We live on the other side of Bristol but we regularly make the commute to Kitchen Avenue because the customer service is second to non, the menu is perfectly varied and the food is delicious! Highly recommended!

We came as a group of 12 and the staff were than accommodating. The food was fantastic and the service even better. Really pleased to have such a wonderful place so close to home, there is nothing else around this area like this and we are thrilled to have Avenue Kitchen. It was buzzing with atmosphere and customers coming in and out during our time here.

What a lovely place! Staff very friendly and lovely atmosphere. Went for a late lunch on a Saturday - food incredible - high quality, fast service and very reasonably priced - we also got food envy seeing the pizza on another table which we will be back for very soon!

Went there for a spontaneous lunch with my daughter and loved it. Fresh feeling throughout and the pizzas were very tasty. Professional service on top of that, I would definitely recommend this place!

Me and my friends came here for brunch. The staff were so friendly! When we didn’t know which wine to go for, they allowed us to taste the options before choosing. The food came quickly and it was really reasonable! Will be revisiting!

We had the whole restaurant for my mums birthday. Service was amazing, we were not rushed, nothing was too much and more importantly the food was really good. Also the pricing is just perfect. You will most definitely be seeing us again x

Found this gem of a cafe by accident, two of us had the all day breakfast and as not keen on beans were able to have another breakfast item instead. One of us has the poached eggs and smoked salmon which was fab, plenty of varieties of coffee to choose from as well as the extensive menu. Staff were so nice, friendly and efficient, food was amazing and a decent price. Ambience and decor was lovely, bright and clean including toilet facilities. Would recommend and will return.

Went here for breakfast one morning. It was sunny so they opened out the bifold doors and the atmosphere was nice inside. I got the eggs Benedict which was super tasty but the sauce was quite watery. Great stop for a simple breakfast with very decent sized portions and really reasonable price

Awful service, brand new kitchen and had 7 tables and it’s a 45 minute wait? Disgusting, only 6-7 tables in therr and barely anyone and the wait was that long. And sending us away, disgusting.

The food was extremely tasty, portion sizes generous and the service was second to none. Definitely recommend to all in the area and beyond.

Only popped in for a coffee but it seems very nice Will definitely pop in for a breakfast sometime as it's only a 5 min walk

Genuinely blown away by the food here. I had a seafood pizza and it was such high quality and amazing value for the price. Mussels galore, prawns and squid. So so good. There aren't many good places to eat in Filton so this place is much needed. Really nice bloke running the place too he looked after a kid who was being bulied outside while we were there. Made sure he was OK, so sweet. Cheers, guys - will defo be back 👍

Lovely new place on Filton Avenue. Smart decor , and very friendly service. I had a Calzone , whilst the rest of family had pizza and tortellini, which were all great . On top of this , it’s excellent value , so really worth a visit.
