Fantastic pasta. Great friendly service, throughly enjoyable evening.

Such phenomenal food and great atmosphere. Lovely set lunch menu reasonably price for the quality and quantity.

We had such a lovely visit - staff were all lovely and so on it, even with a full restaurant. Food was amazing - the signature pasta is incredible. We also loved the house negroni. So inventive! We’ll be back as soon as we can.

6 stars for atmosphere because the vibes are immaculate in Little Hollows. Started with Olives, Sourdough, and Charcuterie. The star of the show was our main dish of Casoncelli, Roast Celeriac, Parmesan, Pickled Walnut & Honey. This main is a MUST and my favorite pasta dish i've had anywhere. Finished with the tiramisu which tasted classic and just the way a good tiramisu should. Great service, great drinks, great food🍝

The menu wasn’t overwhelming but had something for everyone. The fish of the day was cooked to perfection & the pasta dishes were so hard to choose from as I wanted them all! Wine was spot on & our service was faultless. Had such a great time and will be back asap!

Lovely little place!! Wish I’d tried it sooner. Great food, friendly service and a cute atmosphere. The tiramisu did have a lot of cocoa powder on it though making it a tough eat. Besides that it was absolutely incredible! Will be going back :)

We were a table of 3 and went for dinner at little hollows on a weekday. The service was perfect and accommodating, food amazing and atmosphere great - I felt the music playlist added to the experience. The pork starter with sourdough bread on the side was rich and delicious. The agnolotti was so lovely, the sauce was cheesy and the tomato filling fresh and pasta cooked perfectly. Tiramisu for dessert was also great. The cocktails we had were very well made. Ideal dinner experience I would say.

While the stuffed pasta and tiramisu were really good and flavourful the cuttlefish pasta and tomato pasta were really underwhelming and lacking in flavour. Would still recommend a visit as our previous time at little hollows was lovely.

Lovely restaurant, I liked the atmosphere. Cute place. The food was good, nothing outstanding or spectacular but enjoyable. We had a burrata starter which was nice. Pork cheek and lentils starter, the pork was dry and nothing special about the lentils. We also got bread which was lovely. For mains I had the prawn pasta dish which was superb. My partner had the cheesy mushroom tortellini type dish with tarragon sauce which I tried and thought it was ok, nothing to write home about. The service was fantastic. Overall, pretty good value and a nice place to eat. I’d go again if some friends wanted to go there, but probably wouldn’t rush back myself.

This place always hits the spot! We’ve been a couple of times this year and we LOVE it! The pasta is made fresh on site and all the produce used is locally sourced where they can. Tiramisu’s both the normal and the pistachio are also insane! 10/10!

The restaurant itself is small, cosy and quite intimate. I loved the pasta and rustic décor! The menu has great choice of veggie, fish and meat dishes and I was totally torn for my main course between Skate Wing or Lamb Shank. We shared the burrata with plums and balsamic glaze along with their fish of the day, which was a red mullet - both were delicious! For mains, we both opted for the Rigatoni Lamb Shank Ragu, which the waitress said was an OG recipe. Definitely happy with this choice, it was devine!! Definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu. All the pasta is handmade and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu which is so good to see!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Bristol :)

I was excited to visit this place. Went we got there five minutes before our reservation we had to wait outside as the staff were still preparing everything for service. Weather was 2 degrees that day. Had the braised pork cheeks with lentils. Lacking in flavour and the pork was dry. The mackerel was tasty but not what I expected. I ordered the mushroom pasta, it was good but nothing special. We were given the dessert menu and instantly knew I wanted the pistachio tiramisu. They also have “tiramisu” as an option so I assumed the pistachio one was gonna be different or have more elements to it as it’s more expensive. I was surprised to receive just a normal slice of tiramisu with some crushed pistachios on top. We spent £49 for 2 glasses of red wine, 2 small plates and 2 desserts and 2 portions of pasta. Too expensive for what you get.

Went for my anniversary can't think of a better place. Food was spectacular the best pasta I've ever had as well as being unique and creative. Cocktails were class and perfect place for a lovely celebratory meal. Loved it

Miss the duck dish, now everything is butter sauce, no tomato sauce option

The ambience is nice in the restaurant, but it is lacking a bar area to wait for tables to become available. That may be less of an issue if we hadn't been assured our table would "definitely be ready" for 19:00 in line with our reservation when we arrived but it only became so at 19:10 which left us standing awkwardly by the door holding our coats for 10 mins along with another couple. Bread and olives to start were nice. Our starters - braised pork with lentils and the winter vegetables - we nice and well done. The mushroom pasta for main was also good, but the seafood spaghetti was disappointing in its very frugal application of seafood, with only small traces of crab and shellfish and all together less generous with seafood than others in the area. Service was pleasant throughout

A wonderful boutique restaurant with a concise quality menu, great atmosphere and lovely staff. The food was superb and we had a fantastic bottle of wine too.

We’ve been wanting to go for months and finally when we were in Bristol, we got to go and wow! We both agreed that we had the best pasta we’ve ever had 😊 amazing service and atmosphere, and the food was honestly incredible. Please don’t miss out by not going if you have the chance!

My second visit to Little Hollows Pasta and it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely delicious food, particularly great friendly service (plus advice regarding wine and food choice). It was my 71st birthday treat and ended a perfect day celebrating with my son! Thank you for a memorable evening.

Unreal pasta dishes, literally blew me away! Started with a mackerel salad, which if I was being harsh, was just good, but from there things went though the roof. The bruschetta with braised fennel absolutely delicious, then 2 pasta dishes which left me with a big dumb grin on my face. One cheesy, the other with roast beetroot and walnut, sooooo goood!!!!! Then tiramisu and panna cotta, possibly the best I’ve tried on both fronts. Last off clotted cream ice cream for the affogato. Such a treat and the best lunch of a week long trip which consisted of incredible food from start to finish. The restaurant was relaxed, informal, service was friendly and attentive and the pasta prep at the front window was a lovely touch. Came highly recommended and cannot recommend enough. Thank you!

I'm a bit biased, but here's what I have to say: Little Hollows Pasta is an incredible place to be, eat, stay, mingle, drink some more, and eat some more. Have it all. I'm biased because I've known Chris for a long time. We worked together, and I ate his pasta when he started making it, delivering it around, and selling it in markets. I've been to his restaurant many times since it opened. I can't stop recommending it. It's the place to go, be, and stay for the full dinner experience. The quality we experienced today with the family was on another level. Every single detail was taken into consideration. I noticed tonight that even the music was perfect. Detail after detail, dish after dish, we had the best dinner: better than ever before. The flavors were so spot on that every single dish left us craving more. My teenage daughter even surprised me by praising the butterflied sardine and the mackerel dish. Yes, a teenager liking fish dishes! She was also proud of herself for picking the best dish of the night: the agnolotti. Anywho, what a fantastic meal, what a great atmosphere, what excellent service, and the food: pure OMGness! Chris and his team use the best ingredients and put so much love into every plate. But again, I'm a bit biased because I love Chris and his amazing restaurant. So go and try it and prove me wrong. I dare you!

Amazing food and service. The beetroot and Gorgonzola filled pasta was unbelievably good. Also loved the decor/lighting.

Very disappointing meal. I'd ear marked this restaurant through multiple recommendations and jumped at the opportunity to book when I was next in Bristol. The long and short of it is we spent 90 between 2 of us and we're unsatisfied with the meal. The only good thing was the beetroot and gorgonzola which I devoured. The crab, mussel/seafood spaghetti was honestly shockingly bad. Overcooked, poorly presented, and a last ditch attempt at rescuing the dish by dousing it in lemon juice didn't manage to pull the wool over my eyes. Cuttlefish special should be taken off the menu, so bad, it made me feel ill. I won't be back, there's plenty of decent spots within an earshot I can waste 90 quid

Highlights: Starter, mains side dishes were 10 out of 10, faultless Niggles: Chocolate mousse was decent, but not exceptional. The liquid created an odd mixture with the mousse which looked and tasted a bit odd, the mousse itself wasn't particularly light (more of a chocolate pot texture) and there was a stone in one of the cherries. Service was good and very polite etc but I got the feeling they were one person short Environment was fine and aesthetically nice, but tables felt very close together so you don't feel comfortable having a private conversation. The chairs were low and uncomfortable for what ends up being a 1.5 to 2 hour dinner. Would still recommend, perhaps for a shorter lunch where comfort and dessert are less important.

Wow🤩 the food was so delicious but on top of everything else, the service we received from Leanne and Mia was the best service we’ve recital in a very long time! Leanne knew everything about the wines and the food and made sure we were welcomed from the beginning! Mia was so friendly too! Highly recommend this place! Will definitely be coming back!

Best pasta in Bristol and I will put money on it. They don’t compromise on anything here while keeping the price fair, truly brilliant creative chef too. Business lunch is very attractive, our meal experience was no less than epic.

So glad to finally visit Little Hollows. We had a fantastic meal, absolutely delicious food, and friendly service. Highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

This restaurant is a gem, we had a lovely evening celebrating a birthday. Our table was at 5pm and whilst we were the first guests of the evening, every table was full within the hour. There seems to be panels on the ceiling which helps with the sound, so the acoustics of the restaurant were great, it never felt too loud and the ambience was good. Everything is very well thought through in this restaurant. The music was great, the food was excellent particularly the small plates, everyone enjoyed the pasta great flavours. The real stand out was the service, every person working there was knowledgeable & friendly. We had a warm welcome and the server suggested a couple of options off menu for our younger family member, and a lovely goodbye to us too. Highly recommended.

Love this place and am very lucky to live only a few minutes walk away. I organise 1 or 2 meals a year (for 20+ years) for ex-work colleagues;.LHP ("Little Hollows Pasta") is the favourite (for its food, front of house staff and relaxed atmosphere). For that and for _any_ special occasion (friends - UK and overseas, family) I'd try to go there, when I'm booking for 6 or fewer people. Every time I get 100% positive feedback. During 'COVID', when it sold coffee and pastries, I'd go there most days at the end of my run. Given the choice of any restaurant anywhere, LHP is where I'd choose. And given what it offers, it's great value.

We visited for the first time this weekend, having walked past the restaurant dozens of times in the past, after a glowing recommendation of from a friend. We weren’t disappointed! A fabulous meal with a modest but well chosen wine list. Top-notch friendly service and a laid back atmosphere. We’ll be back!

The pasta here is freshly made and very good. There's a good variety of main and side plates to choose from, which can vary with the seasons. The staff were very nice and served us promptly. The actual restaurant has a very nice layout and atmosphere to it. This is one of the many gems on Chandos road!

Outrageously good food, I stumbled across this place out of sheer luck a few visits to Bristol ago and now make a point of booking in advance before I make my trip, just to make sure I get a table (never had a problem with the booking system). Authentic, welcoming and incredibly good at their craft. Can’t recommend enough!

Had to cancel a trip to Italy and while I can't say for sure whether this is a replacement, one of the pastas was good enough that it brought my partner to happy tears. Can't recommend a stop here enough.

Unbelievable pasta, fab staff, great atmosphere 💛

I've been to the restaurant a handful of times over a couple of years since it opened. Every time it hits the spot. One key memory was a lunch on a Saturday in the summer sunshine in the back garden eating a filled pasta that was the best I've ever had (all I remember is that it had sweetcorn inside and some kind of saffron butter). On a road with some other great restaurants but it holds its own amongst them.

Every time I go to LHP it is an exquisite experience from start to finish. I love the stripped back traditional interior which lets the food do the talking, as it rightly should. From fresh pasta in the window on display to generous portion sizes and stunning flavour combinations - LHP delivers the most fantastic pasta at reasonable prices for the quality and artistry on the plate. The team provide an attentive service and nothing is too much trouble. A must visit for any fan of Italian cuisine! Don’t forget to try the tiramisu too! Counting down the day until my next visit 😊

Lived down the road and have been going since the first week they opened as often as possible. The BEST pasta I’ve ever had. Absolutely loved it there. Sadly we have moved away now we miss being able to pop in for a cheeky midweek lunch!

We've been to Little Hollows for a few special occasion dinners and it never disappoints. The food is exceptional, every item on the menu sounds incredible. I'm vegan and the options on there are always brilliant and so delicious. My most recent visit, 10th October was testament to this. The pumpkin pasta was phenomenal and the cherry and chocolate mousse a real treat! Little Hollows is so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere feels relaxed and so inviting, like you're having dinner at a close friend's home. The staff are always personable and friendly. They always have great recommendations and are very attentive. Thank you for another wonderful evening. We'll be back soon!

Made a booking on Thu for Sat eve at 8pm. I never received a confirmation email so I called on Sat to confirm. I was informed that they did not have my booking. They explained that sometimes if the card transaction go through, they do not receive the booking request. I informed them checked my bank app and the nominal transaction had been taken. I asked if they could fit us in anyway but the only time they had was 5pm, which is ridiculously early for most people. No offer of another time/date or further explanation about why the reservation was not taken. Very hard to get a table elsewhere somewhere decent on the same day. Just sloppy customer service. Need a better reservation system.

Living in Perth Aus, anytime we go back to Bristol to see friends & family a visit to Little Hollows is top priority for my wife and I. One of our all time favourite places to eat.

We went to Little Hollows to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we had an absolute treat. Opted for the fish of the day starter, and then some delicious pasta dishes however everything on that menu looked spectacular and being able the actual pasta being make as we were sitting there was unbelievable. Honestly, I would recommend everyone to go. Also had a delicious bottle or red bubbles and the wine selection was really interesting.

5 of us visited for an amazing lunch a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my husbands birthday. Such a lovely chilled out atmosphere, excellent food, drink and service. Just the right amount of dishes on the menu, and well curated. Plenty of beautiful wines on offer and the best 0% sparkling wine I’ve ever tasted. We each had a selection of different small plates and pastas and every single one was outstanding. We were definitely too full, but couldn’t resist dessert. It did not disappoint! Will 100% be back, amazing little neighbourhood spot! Thank you for looking after us.

Went for lunch, fixed price 3 courses. £25 each with add ons. All the food was spot on, the staff were awesome. 2 bottles of wine were consumed and the total bill was £165. Cant fault anything food wise, the only issue was cold plates which resulted in cool spots in the food. Brilliant.

We went with our 5 month old baby and could not rate the service any higher - they were extremely accomodating and specifically didn't book the table next to us to ensure there was space for the buggy. The food was delicious and the pasta so fresh! Definitely recommend to all!

Fabulous evening at LITTLE HOLLOWS with friends. All plates were swept clean, especially the amazing pasta main courses - all absolutely fabulous. Only possible improvement, turn down/off the background music, you don’t need it.

Este pequeño restaurante es parte de la escena de la carretera Chandos, Toda la pasta se hace fresca, y los precios son muy razonables. Un vuelo de vino muy interesante informa el vino que voy a comprar un mes después de mi visita. El lugar simple puede hacer que sea bastante ruidoso, por lo que podría ser un problema si su audición no es grande, pero un excelente servicio de personal muy profesional le asegurará que no se arrepienta de ir.

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon having lunch! This place is super friendly and welcoming. We spent an amazing couple of hours in the sunny garden space. The lunch set menu was a steal. My veggie friend has lots of options. Favourite was the bruscetta of the day. Pasta cooked perfectly. Quite heavy on the butter, so would suggest bread to mop up. Extensive wine list and we opted for a Summery/ Autumnal orange wine. I want to treat all my friends to lunch in this beautiful and charming restaurant. Our waitress was great. Food was great. No complaints

This is one of my favourite pasta restaurants. The food is delicious and flavoursome, the people who work here are really great and it has a vibrant atmosphere. We ate nocellara olives, a filled pasta with pine nuts and sheep's curd which has a slightly autumnal nutty flavour, and pistachio tiramisu.

The pasta was nothing special, which was disappointing since we had high expectations after having this place on our list for a year. However, the staff were incredibly nice and the pistachio tiramisu was delicious. For the price, we expected a more comfortable seating and table experience.

Nice little place and lovely good quality food but we did find it pricey, and the mains menu, with only 5 dishes, is quite limited, with only one dish being non-vegetarian. We went with our kids (ages 6 & 8) and the mains were a bit too sophisticated for them so the lovely staff kindly suggested making them some off-menu cheesy/tomato pasta, which was delicious… unfortunately the portions were tiny, more like for toddlers- our strapping lad was hungry half an hour later. We still ended up paying over £100- having had only one small glass of wine (mine!) and 2 desserts. Our mains were nice but a bit bland… not sure I get all the hype.
