Waterside Inn

Bray, Windsor and Maidenhead, >100£
04/01/2019: Visited the Waterside Inn on 12/12/18 as my son was passing out from Sandhurst on the 14th. I have been all over the world with the privilege of eating at exceptional restaurants but this was one of the best. Food was without fault, simply delicious, sensational. Staff and service was what I expected and what was delivered. Alain Roux was at the helm that night and at end of service took time to walk round all tables, we told him why we were there and that unfortunately my son could not attend and was disappointed as he loves his food. Short time later he came back to table with a recipe book signed by him and Michel Roux with a lovely message wishing Michael well on the 14th, nice personal touch.
02/01/2019: Family went there as a "special" lunch prior to son's graduation. Couldn't have been a better choice. Valet parking, warm reception, lovely view, incomparable unobtrusive service, and top quality food. We all had the Menu Exceptionnel which is very recommendable.

Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead, 20-30£
18/12/2018: food was dead, staff was dead, for the price we were expecting some high quality food and we ended up with some btec Mcdonalds leftovers that are thrown in the bin. I have been to Morocco and really enjoyed the food there, I go to your restaurant excited with my friends and we got what we got... And then you have the nerve to ask for a service charge and then say "see you soon?" as we walk out...
16/12/2018: We had a lunch at Meimo today for a large family gathering . The food was delicious, the service was excellent and we were made to feel so welcome with lots of other thoughtful touches. Thank you to all the staff for making our family gathering so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back.

The Dew Drop Inn

Hurley and Walthams, Windsor and Maidenhead, 20-30£
01/01/2019: Still the nedt local for Sunday Lunch. Cooked to perfection and great portion size. The crumble for desert is a must enough for 2 to share 😁😁
30/12/2018: This is everything you want on a Sunday. A perfect location to take the dog for a walk. The food is excellent. It is a menu with plenty of choice and specials. The service as great and there is a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Portions of food are great I felt very warm and happy and there wasn’t a finished plate on the table. Really good choice of wines and beers. It is Going to be trikes visits from me from now on.

The Oxford Blue

Old Windsor, Windsor and Maidenhead
12/12/2018: I really wanted to like this restaurant. The decor and layout are lovely and it’s all very tasteful.
11/12/2018: Fantastic dishes served with flair and panache, we had great starters and mains, for the vegans and vegetarians a little disappointing.

The Fat Duck

Bray, Windsor and Maidenhead, >100£
18/12/2018: This is a very lovey experience although a bit expensive. But you are only 50 once. Before you even get there they make you feel Special. You have a storyteller (we have Eva) who calls you and explains what well happen. Most maybe not all of the food was lovely and I liked the fact it tells you a story. Our story was going on holiday. What make the night even more special they allowed us to go into the kitchen and meet the chefs. What a lovely touch. They treated every table special to them with little personal touches. I have attached a couple of ours for you to see.
17/12/2018: Only for they service you nearly 5 hours to finished all the courses with fully such special ideal on every courses ,worth to your paid really .could tell they really spend times and creative the unique way to let’s you while enjoy your meal also enjoyed the feel From your taste of the mouth ,the sounds of your heard ,the beautiful design for ur eye ...such a banquet!

The Drawing Room at Coworth Park

Sunningdale, Windsor and Maidenhead, 45-60£
08/11/2018: Today I went to Coworth for afternoon tea. The one word I would describe it as would be disappointing. The venue and service was good however the actual afternoon tea itself was not great. The scones were tiny and very sponge like and the cakes were rather basic. For £55 per head I would expect a better quality offering.
06/11/2018: Lovely venue with excellent staff. Views over the grounds and good menu and wine list. The adjoining bar service is good and the option for a conservatory venue too. Sometimes live music is played which his very relaxing.

Windsor Grill

Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead, 45-60£
18/11/2018: Quickly becoming one of our favourite restaurants in Windsor, very good quality food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere!
17/11/2018: Booked here for sons birthday Tuesday 13th 8pm.Shown to a very nice table ambience throughout was very nice.Ordered a beer glass of wine and a cocktail and nibbles of pork crackling and olives plus was given bread nice butter. The crackling was the best I have had clearly homemade not packet if the apple sauce was a little strong for me.

The Bull Inn at Bisham

Bisham and Cookham, Windsor and Maidenhead
11/12/2018: We booked a table for twelve for Christmas Lunch at The Bull today 11/12/2018. I had never been to the Bull before but I was very impressed. The food was lovely and the service was impeccable. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. This was our first visit but it will not be or last. Excellent value at a reasonable price.
10/12/2018: We last visited this establishment in 2006. We were back there a week ago when ten of us, all of whom had dined there before, visited for company reunion. We were beyond impressed with everyone agreeing how fabulous the experience was, with food, wine, service and ambience all being exemplary. We will return soon!

The Prince Albert

Park, Windsor and Maidenhead, 20-30£
13/11/2018: What a wonderful meal!! The bar and restaurant here is delightful. Our waitress (I think her name was Rosie) was so kind and attentive. The food was spectacular. I was so happy to see so many vegetarian choices! I had the Quorn pie with veggies and mash potatoes. It was delicious! My husband had the BBQ Mac and cheese and he enjoyed it. We shared the nachos (vegetable chili) and loved them. The meal presentation was very fancy and the food was great. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding - it was not my favorite, but not bad. The atmosphere is great. It is very cute inside. The bar seemed popular with locals, which was nice, and the dining room was quiet and charming. Five stars!
04/11/2018: A quick 5 min drive out of legoland to this restaurant was the best meal ever. A lovely warm welcome by staff and seated promptly. Food was excellent and good portions. Very reasonably priced and highly recommend a visit. Parking behind the restaurant is available.

Gilbey's Bar & Restaurant - Eton

Eton and Castle, Windsor and Maidenhead, 45-60£
17/12/2018: Walked in and not sure what to expect, or should we walk out. The decor is very comforting and pleasant, the service excellent and the food, a must eat if you are near by. Try the deserts, they are very good. Then proceed down to Eton.
13/12/2018: Came here for two business meals in the last 2 weeks. Different menus and location in the restaurant for each-one was in the conservatory the other in the private dining room upstairs. In total I had 8 guests at the first and 9 the second. This place is just fantastic. Staff are attentive and very professional but still very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. True food was amazing, the venison 3 ways a massive favourite. Wine lists were great too and the staff offered up good suggestions where they’d run out of some options.

Cinnamon Cafe

Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead, <20£
22/11/2018: The Cinnamon Cafe is a real throwback - a privately run institution in Windsor. It's always busy and there is a queue but the staff are efficient and friendly and work well as a team. The cake selection is amazing but for me the star of the show are the cinnamon buns. Massive but light and fluffy and extremely moor-ish! You may think the whole buns look too much, but you will be grateful you decided to go large!
22/11/2018: Really wanted to get out of the cold and was very early for work so I thought I’d treat myself to breakfast here. I don’t do it often as prices in Windsor are so high. The portion sizes of cakes have always impressed me when walking past but my experience was a little of a let down.

Caldesi Campagna

Bray, Windsor and Maidenhead
14/12/2018: My wife and I (plus 9 week old baby) just had a beautiful lunch at Caldesi in Bray. Fantastic food from start to finish and top class service as well (for us and the baby!)
14/12/2018: Superb food, professional and lovely staff, buzzy, lively atmosphere of people having a good time. Brilliant!

La Sorrentina

Sunninghill and South Ascot, Windsor and Maidenhead
29/12/2018: Lovely, authentic, family run business.
09/12/2018: Wonderful date night and our first visit here. Great atmosphere. Food was really lovely and all of the staff were just a delight. Buzzing with great vibe but not too noisy. We were the last couple in there and were simply made to feel so welcome.

Sebastian's Italian

Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead
13/12/2018: Fantastic meal, love this restaurant, always busy, great atmosphere, great food, excellent service, what is there not to like.
12/12/2018: We went for a Christmas get together, Restaurant was busy and had a buzzing atmosphere, although busy the food was served quickly and the staff were attentive to the glasses of wine becoming empty. The staff were friendly and smiley during the whole evening. food was great and so tasty. Loved the tiramisu best!!

Restaurant Coworth Park

4 offers
Sunningdale, Windsor and Maidenhead, >100£
05/12/2018: nous avons passé un excellent dîner avec le menu degustation. Service impeccable, superbe expérience.
03/11/2018: Our dinner last night was excellent. We chose from the £80 a la carte menu and it was worth every penny. Starting with delicious amuse bouche and freshly made warm bread, the food was delicious from start to finish. Our starters were plump langoustine with a very tasty sauce/ broth, and an egg yolk nestled in an onion ring with mushrooms - sounds weird and it was a bit but beautifully crafted! My husband then had short rib whilst I had John Dory - both were excellently balanced dishes with bags of flavour, texture and style. Dessert, coffee and petit fours did not disappoint.
