The best restaurants in Summertown Oxford South East

As the other reviewers have commented this is fantastic ice cream, the best I've had here in the UK. For other comparable ice creams I've had I would mention Fenocchio in Nice, and Messina in Sydney. But if you don't want to fly for your ice cream here it is in Oxford.

Absolutely stunning meal ! If you want authentic Spanish tapas get yourself to thirty eight all staff members were very polite and explained every dish in front of you on how it was made . Top marks to the chef 👌 try the meatballs they are outrageous!! Five star !

Fui a Gatineau a recoger un pastel de cumpleaños de pedido especial y me quedé a tomar café y algo dulce. Esta es una porción de París en el norte de Oxford. Fabulosa pastelería y una bienvenida amable.

Buen ambiente pero hay que esperar mucho tiempo para ciertos tipos de carne y las porciones son pequeñas cuando vienen. El cordero del menú solo se ofreció una vez y como mesa de 4 , solo obtuvimos una rodaja cada uno.

Visitado hoy 1 calle Marzo. Fue recibido con “suerte que llegaste cuando lo hiciste” a pesar de que habíamos reservado una mesa ya que parecía que la camarera estaba a punto de dar nuestra mesa a otra persona (a pesar de que llegamos 15 minutos antes de la hora designada como se indica en el formulario de reserva) por lo que desde el offset se sintió como si fuéramos un inconveniente, cuando se sentó la mesa fue asumido por el servilletero y cubiertos y menús rotos (terminó poniendo el cubierto en el suelo para que tuviéramos espacio) comida y bebidas pedidos, la comida llegó pero tuvo que pedir las bebidas (que estaban sentados en el bar) de nuevo esto se sintió como la camarera fue inconveniente porque pedimos. La comida estaba bien, pero como inmediatamente nos sentimos como un inconveniente, acabamos de pedir unos cuantos lados y refrescos (que llegan a £ 40! ) , nada que gritar, pero definitivamente no volverá.

Still the best Chinese in the Oxford Summertown area. The longstanding chef is as deft as ever. Service and atmosphere are also great at this gem of a restaurant.

Third Time at Temptations – Disappointed and Not Coming Back! We’ve had bad experiences here twice before, but we decided to give it another try today after a few months. (We must be mad!) The service was awful. I can’t entirely blame the young staff—they seemed overwhelmed. Not because the place was busy (there were only about 6 people), but likely due to a lack of training and knowledge. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for our food. Then, the salad my husband ordered without garnish came with garnish. When we pointed it out, the young chef looked confused. He didn’t seem to understand what a plain salad meant, and we had to explain it. Once he understood what we wanted, it took another 25 minutes just to replace the garnished salad with a plain one. As for my dish—it was supposed to come with coleslaw. I saw the girl behind the counter take coleslaw from a pre-opened, store-bought packet and put it on my plate. Very disappointing! Also, we ordered one pot of tea because only my husband wanted it, but I asked for an extra cup so I could have a sip. I was told they only provide one cup per pot of tea. Really? Not coming again—**not ever! It’s no surprise there weren’t many people here on a Saturday afternoon, especially when the other places in Subdued were packed—which is what actually made us come here in the first place.

If you are looking for a fine roast dinner, you can't go wrong here. A wonderful plate of food. You do get so much for your money, and the food is damn good. Great and friendly service as well. Never had a bad meal or pint here. Great pub.

I’m always craving LB’s like mad… chicken shawarma and potatoes go CRAZZZYYY!! Prices are also really really good in my opinion. Live Laugh LB’s.

Really good. Beautiful fish curry, well cooked. Light soft Nan bread. Great staff.. excellent.
