Buen ambiente pero hay que esperar mucho tiempo para ciertos tipos de carne y las porciones son pequeñas cuando vienen. El cordero del menú solo se ofreció una vez y como mesa de 4 , solo obtuvimos una rodaja cada uno.

El Rincon has reopened under new management and is now called Bia. We tried the new Bia restaurant after enjoying eating and drinking there when it was El Rincon and several previous managements over the years. We were hoping for some new and interesting food and we were not disappointed. Five small plates to share plus a dessert each made a good meal for the two of us, and was a fine way to sample the menu. Everything was really fresh and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the pork belly, burrata and “hake and chips”. The staff were enthusiastic and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. It’s early days, but everything is very promising and we’re looking forward to our next visit.

Really tasty authentic feeling food and super friendly staff, nice outdoor area at the back which looks like the roof can move depending on the weather. We had a good selection off the menu, croquettes, pardon peppers, patatas bravas etc. we basically everything except the paella and all of it was great. We went at 5pm on a Sunday with a child and the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Our friends booked a table for celebrating graduation of our sons from the University of Oxford, a big milestone which required to carefully select a nice venue. Oxford town city center restaurants were all packed, so we headed a bit outside and ventured into a Spanish Restaurant. The staff and particularly the owner or the female manager were amazing, so welcoming, natural and making you feel like home … a truly Mediterranean feeling of “family”. We took advise of her recommendations and had an amazing feast of different cold, hot and sweet tapas, gambas and the braised ox cheek with fried potatoes. The fried artichokes with homemade chili paste – simply WOW. The table was on a terrace, so for the smokers this was heaven while enjoying the fresh air for those who did not smoke. The Cava Sparkling from Spain was a nice recommendation as well. Amazing evening, truly not disappointed and we shall be back at our next trip to Oxford. They even called me back during their resting hours in the afternoon and arranged us a car parking spot.

My partner booked this place for our anniversary, thinking it’d feel like a piece of Spain. The restaurant was packed — everyone chatting over tapas, sipping wine, thinking they were in Barcelona. But to me, it felt like a very British version of Spain: clean, well-run, and expensive. £8 for patatas bravas made with British potatoes sums it up. It looked right, it ticked all the boxes, but it didn’t feel right. Still, if you’ve never been to Spain, maybe it’s enough. For me, it was just a reminder of how far home really is.

Great restaurant. It really doesn't feel like you're in the UK. Adesh, the manager, was great and helped us a lot with all our requests. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
