The Berkeley Arms

Bosham, Chichester, <20£
27/08/2018: Booked last minute birthday meal with the family. Were very welcoming, letting us take the dog into the pub.Catered to my gluten and dairy intolerance perfectly, offering a full gluten free menu. The chef also came out and made me a dessert which was not on the menu but which I could eat. Also helped put the candles on the dessert for my birthday. Altogether, really friendly atmosphere and staff which went out of their way to help.
27/08/2018: The Berkeley Arms is a good down to earth honest pub no pretention, good beer good food good company.

The Millstream Hotel and Restaurant

Bosham, Chichester, >100£
08/08/2018: I have been a regular visitor to the millstream hotel for several years using both the restaurant and Marwicks. yesterday I took my partner as a birthday treat to the restaurant .
29/07/2018: Nice afternoon tea served in the garden after blustery walk around Bosham harbour. Lovely setting and attentive staff.

The Old House at Home

Bosham, Chichester
05/08/2018: Went for Sunday lunch. Roast chicken and seafood platter absolutely wonderful! Great service , friendly staff very accommodating , the star of the show the rum cake die for ! Will definately return Five stars!
04/08/2018: I cycled to meet a friend for lunch here as on my training route. Parking for cars at back and pleased to view bicycle rack. Some on road parking if car park full. Had not booked but availability. Lots of seating inside and outside. Really pretty front and back seating with shaded areas decorated with lovely flowers and plants. Nice areas out back and nice wrought iron tableware for couples.

The White Swan

Bosham, Chichester
16/08/2018: The best thing about the food at The White Swan is that it’s cooked fresh. If you’ve got a dietary need (gluten free like me or vegan like our friends) there is always something to eat and they’ll make you up something special.
14/08/2018: I recently booked for my parents 90th birthday party celebration. It was very short notice but nothing was too much trouble for accommodating! The party was 32 people and they allowed us to arrange the tables as we wished. The front of house girls were so friendly and helpful.

The Anchor Bleu

Bosham, Chichester, <20£
14/08/2018: Gorgeous quirky pub with amazing views. The food is delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
14/08/2018: Visited today. A lovely setting and dogs allowed in some parts of the pub. Would recommend the platter for 2 starter and lamb rump with cous cous and salad. The lamb melts in your mouth. Good value for money.

Bosham Inn

Bosham, Chichester
03/09/2018: Booked two days in advance, with all of my contact details. Arrived and ordered drinks then told no Roast dinners or Steak meals available. Which was fine if you wanted a starter or pie and chips!
28/08/2018: Rained non stop so decided to get out for a bite to eat the restaurant had been very busy the tables still had glass’s and plates on from earlier.

Marwick's Brasserie Restaurant

Bosham, Chichester, <20£
09/08/2018: Would not recommend, over priced very basic pub food served in a stilted dining room lacking atmosphere. Nicely presented food but over priced for what they serve. Green Tai chicken & veg curry spoiled with cubed aubergine cooked to a slime, and cheese selection was extremely poor definitely not worth the price tag. Would not return, plenty of other good competition.
08/08/2018: We had a birthday lunch for my Mum at Marwicks. It was lovely. We only wanted a light snack and they were very accommodating. I had a cold beef sandwich which was succulent, my husband a smoked salmon sandwich and my parents a tasty pea and ham soup. All in all, a good find on the spur of the moment. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 as the service could have been a little quicker. Overall I'd highly recommend though.

Breeze Cafe

Bosham, Chichester
27/08/2018: Great location, nice bright interior but sadly the rest was very disappointing. Took my elderly parents for tea & cake. Cakes were extremely dry & we did point this out but Manageress really not interested and some of the other staff were really quite rude. One waitress caught my Father's finger which then bled and we needed a plaster but frankly they really were disinterested. A couple of the young girls were lovely but the general attitude to their customers was poor. Would not recommend - which is a shame as the location is excellent. Think Bosham deserves better!
27/08/2018: What a shame taking advantage of the prime location and holiday Monday our visit was short and expensive as staff couldn't be bothered to clear previous customers debris from our table on bringing our order over and they were not overly busy the table was filthy dirty too in fact the whole place had an air of neglect. Two small coffees which were not very hot came to more than £8.

Butlers Of Bosham

Bosham, Chichester
20/08/2018: If you are staying in the area at say Concierge Camping you will do well to call in at Butlers - the are probably the best fish and chips you will find anywhere.
09/08/2018: Had plaice and chips and cod and chips from Butlers. Prices are very reasonable and the orders are generally cooked to order so your takeaway will be hot and fresh. Good selection of kids options and pies. Busy chippy as Butlers serves a big area. One watch out - cash only. But there is a cash till in the supermarket in the same row.

09/08/2018: This was the first cafe that I went in. I ordered breakfast which was excellent. Jane was very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Her home made cakes and puddings were delicious. Very rare you get a good cafe these days. Next time I am in the area I will be back. Stuart Brighton.
01/07/2018: My family and I went into the cafe and stood there minding my own business. The waitress then stood there and did a massive sigh, then said “brain dead, my children are just the same”. I thought this was incredibly rude thing to say to me, especially as I am a customer! As a young adult I expect a bit of respect and not to be treated as a child! She clearly thought I was in the way. A decent waitress/waiter would be polite and say excuse me. Again this rude, unkind and uncalled for. I walked out, upset, while the others stayed in and waited for about 15 minutes for a simple bacon sandwich! Don’t be fooled by the nice decorations, but be prepared for a long wait and rudeness.
