The Millstream Hotel & Sea School Restaurant in Chichester

Went there for lunch with my wife - the food was excellent, very good value for money. Drinks rather pricy. Surroundings very pleasant and the service was efficient. Certainly go again

We booked the hotel function room for an afternoon reception after our daughter"s funeral. The admin staff were very helpful and explained costs and menus very clearly. It is an elegant property and the standard of the food provided for the buffet was exceptional and very good value. It is situated a short walk from the Bosham shore which has vistas across Chichester Harbour

Amy and all the staff at the Millstream helped to make my mother’s ‘Wake’ an enjoyable occasion when we could reminisce about old times! The organisation was excellent and many people commented on the delicious food, especially the sausage rolls and coronation chicken brioches! It all seemed to be served very smoothly and the time flew past - I wish it could have been longer as we were all enjoying ourselves!

Comfortable hotel in lovely village. Popular and has a good reputation for the food, but I was not overwhelmed personally. Staff in the restaurant at dinner were somewhat brusque, which was a surprise.

Lovely atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Very relaxing around the log fire with beer, just what I wanted. Wheelchair accessible room; difficult to cater for exact needs but room & wet room very good. Restaurants & food excellent. Imagine summer in the garden and short walk to sea would be very pleasant. Worth the drive from north London to see friends and relax. Cask ale and handrails on toilet would be my suggestions. Thank you, all. Roger & Jane

My wife and I recently had a two night dinner, bed and breakfast stay at the Millstream and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The room and meals were very good and the staff were excellent. The hotel provided a cosy, warm and inviting atmosphere with a log burner in the lounge. Attentive and friendly service in the restaurant, next time we will try the brasserie as well. We look forward to visiting again

Relaxed friendly oasis of tranquility in this historic harbourside village. Beautiful traditional hotel with modern features and high class restaurants. Exceptional staff and expert barman will be there to welcome your arrival and integrate you into a stay you will not forget. Been coming here for over 40 years and can't stay away for long!

Great room and food, lovely service

Recently my daughter booked a table for four for afternoon tea at the Mill Stream Hotel using a voucher to the value of £150. Unfortunately she was ill the night before the reservation and, in pain, phoned early the next morning to cancel the booking with a view to re-scheduling when she was feeling better. She was given to understand that if the voucher was not used that day it would become invalid. As there was another event that afternoon (a funeral I believe), moving the booking would not have caused a problem. The final words of the receptionist when my daughter explained she was ill were 'on bless you'! Rather than incur a total loss of the voucher, my husband and I did, in fact, take up the booking but it was, to say the lest, a huge disappointment and nothing like the pleasant afternoon anticipated with family. I have written to the Mill Stream but, to date, have not received a reply. £150 is a lot of money to forfeit through illness.

Superb country hotel in the heart of Bosham. Every member of the staff smile and talk to you. The food is amazing and beautifully presented. Our room was large with good views and spotless. The gardens are well landscaped and quirky too!

Afternoon tea:- Service, brilliant! Only thing I would say, lt could have done with more Clotted Cream and Jam

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel which was perfect for a weekend stay. it's in the right location to explore the area and take the circular walk around the six harbour villages. The staff at the hotel are lovely and really make you feel welcome and we enjoyed having dinner both nights in the two restaurants. The bar area is also lovely and great for a cup of tea or a pre or post dinner cocktail. Our room was lovely with some nice features that I know some people would appreciate, like a guide light for the toilet if you need to get up in the night.
