Lovely family run tea room. Excellent service and the food is exceptional. Their Saturday Evening Cocktail night was a pleasure to attend and the food again was amazing. Can’t wait for next years events. So glad we found this tea barn. Excellent all round. And I must just add my husband loves his morning egg and bacon baguette. Thank you. Neil and Julie

There was 20 of us for a 90th birthday and Ben and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us all. The team were friendly, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious (highly recommend the afternoon tea) and we can’t wait to come back to work our way through the rest of the menu! Thanks again Ben and team!

Very nice coffee Cafe. Very good breakfast items and teas. The quiche with asparagus was super good. There is also several shops to look through after your meal. Great food, comparably priced and great venue.

What a great find. I've just returned from a couple days with my wife in the surrounding area and we came across The Tea Barn when visiting the neighbouring farm shop. We visited for breakfast which was great (highly recommend the French Toast), and ended up taking away lunch and dessert. I enjoy my coffee. I must say the Flat White I was served with breakfast was spot on. When we're back in the area we will definitely return.

We had afternoon tea for 4 adults and 2 children and it was delightful. Food was excellent and I particularly like the way the children's version was done with some smaller appropriate bites but enough to make them feel like it was a real treat. Would recommend the Russian Caravan tea and the biscoff cupcakes were delicious! We will be back.

A 2/3km walk from rogate along a lovely cross country public walking path. After a slightly muddy slip and slide walk, being greeted by the friendliest of staff and warming food, it was the perfect treat.

Always a wonderful time here. The food is delicious, the cakes are so naughty but so yummy. The garden is very tranquil and it is always a time for recharging and refreshment coming here.

Lovely place, it's a shame it's hidden out of the way! Interior is beautiful, staff are friendly and the food was great, I just wish I had had room to try one of the delicious looking cakes on display - I'll just have to come back! Also got to watch 2 squirrels playing in the garden, which was nice.

Absolutely love this place. Such a tranquil place to take the kids. The macaroni was a huge hit with the kids. Highly recommend the Oreo cake too. Delicious!!!

Have been today with parents, we go to many tearooms/farm shops, this has to be one of the best experiences we have had in recent years, the food was amazing, well presented and lovely and hot, staff were extremely friendly and polite, we can't wait to take friends next time

Lovely Tea Room with a lovely view. Staff were cheerful, the place was very clean, the food was delicious. It has a lovely big garden for summer visits and big windows to look out on a great view for the winter. Reasonable prices too.

We have been a few times before so I desided to book an afternoon tea for 4 to celebrate our friends 40th birthday and it was perfect. The food was amazing as always and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank you for letting us decorate the table with a balloon and table decoration, she had a lovely day.

Lovely tea and coffee and soft drinks farm shop cafe. Does lite bites eg sandwiches, cakes, kids menu, and some hot food. Has a small kids play area and picnic tables around the back. Has a good customer base, eg respectful, considerate and quiet.

Watched kitchen staff loading plates only to see a girl take a tomato of the plate, eat it, lick her finger then put that hand in a bag to put crisps on same plate. Absolutely disgusting. I informed person who obviously pulled her on it... Lo and behold, she did the same thing within minutes. She was also using bare hands to put all food on plates. I'd seriously consider the standards of this place, one off instance or not.

Lovely stop point on a journey. Plenty of choice and variations to suit all. Pleasant service chatty staff quick to cook fresh to order. Outside garden is huge with fab kids space and asparagus field to observe alongside birds and butterflies. Inside space for those wet days. Toilets could do with a few DIY jobs on locks and sliders but we're clean and well proportioned. Thanks guys. Love the bush teapot topiary.

We’ve been here on several occasions and sat outside to enjoy some great breakfasts and coffees. The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful. Great little garden for little ones to run about in. TOP TIP: I would book in advance and the earlier you get there, the less time you’ll spend ordering.

What a s*** show! After a nice few hours picking fruit with our young daughter we decided to treat ourselves to lunch here. First of all we struggled to find anywhere to sit, most of the empty tables were dirty as they hadn’t been wiped down, or they were full of dirty plates/cutlery. After eventually finding somewhere to sit, my partner went up to order, it took nearly 10 minutes to order due to a large queue. Clearly understaffed it transpired the young lady taking the orders was also making the drinks at the same time, how this establishment thinks that’s a efficient way to serve customers I’ll never know! My partner eventually ordered 2 hot drinks and 2 scones with jam and cream. The hot drinks were served immediately, and we were told the scones would follow shortly. 25 minutes later no scones arrived, staff were no where to be found and queuing at the front wasn’t an option due to massive queue because of the poor lady trying to do it all at once. We decided to just leave, paying nearly £13 for 2 hot drinks and waiting over 45 minutes in total for the pleasure. It’s clear this business is short staffed, and unorganised. I can only hope they contact us to offer a full refund.

Such a lovely little tea shop tucked away at the top of a farm!! We had a reservation and was seated immediately, they took drink orders quickly and asked if we wanted fruit or plain scones and within minutes we had been served our afternoon tea. It was DELICUOUS!! the sandwiches and cakes and the scones where all superb and to top it all off its got a beautiful garden area overlooking rows of berries, just such a lovely day in the sun, good scenery and good food!!

Highly recommend The Tea Barn, went for the first time today for Afternoon Tea/lunch. The food was absolutely amazing, very fresh and lovely cakes - especially the crunchie cheesecake which was amazing! Decent sized portions and reasonably priced. Plenty of Gluten Free options to choose from for my Daughter who has Coeliac. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Also some lovely little shops/boutiques to walk around. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you

We dined in the garden, and had Tuna Melt and Chicken Brie and redcurant jam toastie, both on Corn bread . Washed down with great Coffee. . Very tasty food and lovely staff , always.

Wow! What a venue. We had my sisters baby shower here today and I have honestly couldn't praise the whole experience highly enough. The food was perfect and they catered to everyone's needs. Ben and Maddison where such superstars and had everything attended to. Everyone said how amazing it was, Most people hadn't been before and are very excited to return as the food was honestly amazing. Thank you again.

I visited The Tea Barn for the first time today and I was very impressed by the quality of the food and the superb level of service. The manager Ben was particularly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for him and his team. Now that I have found this little hidden gem in the countryside, I will definitely be visiting again!

Delightful setting, excellent home cooking and friendly and attentive service. If there was a small downside it was the ambiguous sign posting to the car park which was important when car occupants are disabled. Certainly a place I would visit again.

The first time I went to the T barn I bought a sausage roll. The wife went nuts that I was paying so much for a sausage roll. Now every time we go there we always take at least four sausage rolls away. If you are prepared to pay a little bit more for good food then this is the place to go. And their Bakewell tart Is out of this world highly recommended. And their made to order Service I cannot fault.

Best coffee shop in the area! Ill go back there for the ham and cheese croissant every day if I could. Brilliant people Brilliant service. Not even mentioned the coffee yet. I dont know if it is the setting that makes there coffee taste amazing but it doesn't really matter because it is amazing😁. Highly recommend

We visited the farm cafe with our two dogs hoping it would be dog friendly (as pretty much all other farm cafes/tea rooms we've been to are). I'll start by saying it was lovely food and cakes! The staff were nice though just not very proactive to make us comfortable. It was a cold day & we were told they're not dog friendly so to sit in the garden. The garden was behind a big hedge with no sun & we froze. We all had hats and scarfs on for afternoon tea! They came out and mentioned a couple of times that we look very cold but didn't offer any solutions. Unfortunately it took away from the nice food and cute farm. Update: it would be good in the future to let people know why you don't let dogs inside as this is understandable but wasn't communicated to us. Also, there were no tables in the sun, only one small one at the front which was occupied when we were there.

Fabulous Afternoon Tea - thoroughly recommend We took our Mum’s for afternoon tea for 4 - it was delicious, great range of sandwiches & cakes, generous portions & wonderful scones with clotted cream & jam. All thoughtfully presented - (it was Halloween themed & very clever little cakes) all homemade & fresh & great value for money - we now need another excuse to return. Thank you Bridget

Lovely place for tea, coffee cakes and light lunches. Great outdoor and indoor space with parking right outside. It gets busy on a Saturday mid morning but plenty of space with a small outdoor play area for kids.

This place is simply AMAZING! We have NEVER EVER had a cup cake like it before and the toffee cheesecake was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Our salmon bagel was fab and the whole place and staff were so lovely. Great big garden ...dogs welcome and sprays everywhere. Well done all of you. Thank you Louise and Peter

What a fabulous afternoon tea! Reserved a table outside, in lovely surroundings. Staff were wonderful and catered for my nut allergy. Sandwiches were really tasty, scones were huge and fluffy. There was a cheese scone too, which was a nice change. The cakes were delicious and we were able to bring them home as we couldn't fit them in! Very reasonable price. Will definitely return.

Only just remembered this fantastic little café after looking back through some of my old photos, having visited in the summer of last year. The sandwiches were excellent and the drink I had (lime and mint, I think) was to die for. Friendly service too, and overall one of the most pleasant and cosy environments I've experienced in a café. Would love to come and visit again, but it's a shame I'm over two hours away by bus, with no car – hopefully I'll make it down there again in the near future! :-)
