Santorini in Chichester

Amazing place for dinner! The servers are so friendly and recommend dishes. We had the Lamb Souvlaki, Pork Souvlaki and the Salmon and it was wonderful. Cooked over charcoal grills for lovely, tender meat. Saving the best for last, the Cake Santorini is out of this world. Will deffo be returning!

Very pleasant small restaurant. Better than average greek food. But moussaka had potatoes in it, is that authentic?

Two starters, two main courses and a bottle of house red. The chicken wrap was rather tasty and the bread was lovely. A nice place to come for an evening out.

Birthday celebration and amazing service. Food was authentic but portion sizes varied. We can't complain as we were looked after and left feeling comfortably full.

Visited with my daughter and enjoyed the most wonderful meal of feta and olives, chicken gyros, moussaka, baklava and cake Santorini. We had a warm welcome and were looked after all evening. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable and the staff friendly. Will definitely go again.

Food ok, not to my taste though but no fault of the restuarant. Service would be 5 star except the owner cleared our table just after he had had a cigarette and the smell was overpowering. Drinks very expensive, £5 for a small bottle of beer. I did try to contact the restaurant to raise my complaint especially about the cigarette smell but I have had no reply.

Had a Gyros and no chicken just chips! Rubbish

On entering we received a nwarm welcome. Pretty room (perhaps turning the dimmer switch on lights would make more cosy.) Tzatziki lovely creamy and tasty. Main courses disappointing. I was looking forward to big fat juicy tendrils of Octopus and got two tiny pieces. For £17.95 It was more like a starter portion. Might as well have had two king prawns! My friends lamb dish looked great, moist, plentiful and melt in the mouth but lacked flavour. Service was good and it is pretty little place but if the upplier cannot provide good ingredients take the dish off the menu.

A very welcoming warm place. My family and I were travelling through Chichester, and after a cancelled train, we needed something to eat. It was quite late at this point and we have two children (2&4) who were refused at other restaurants close by. The service was amazing considering we were tired and frustrated after an earlier plane journey. Food was quick and the kids enjoyed the attention to detail the waiter gave them. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. I go there often with friends and family and never had a bad meal. The service is amazing too!

We dined here for my husbands birthday and brought our 5.5month old baby. The owner was super friendly and very accommodating especially when our baby got a little bit upset due to teething. Feed was delicious too would definitely recommend!

12 of us had lunch at Santorini, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The food tasted great, and it was just like being in Greece. We had a few young children with us, and the owner was very accommodating. Quality of food was great and atmosphere was nice, plus owner and his family, would bring dishes out and explain how they had been created, very welcoming. Will be visiting again.

Was visiting my daughter at University for the weekend. Lovely restaurant. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The menu has a good selection, something for everyone and reasonably priced too. We had the chicken souvlaki and it was AMAZING! Tender and delicious. The tzatziki was the best I’ve ever had. You have to try this restaurant . We will definitely be back.

This was SUCH a lovely, cosy, authentic restaurant for dinner and drinks with a friend. It was also amazingly good value for money and super delicious food. The family owners are so welcoming. We'll definitely be back again. I would advise booking as it gets booked up quickly, for good reason!

I have always wanted try this place but something always put me off (can’t actually pinpoint what?)..but met with friends from work tonight here. Why have not come before!!! My mistake! A very authentic experience and clearly very popular, we browsed the menu and ordered. There are pictures in their menu…..promise you the pictures do not do the food justice! We ordered tzatziki to share as a starter…..wonderful. 3 mains of chicken breast cooked on skewers….I was playing safe! My food arrived and it was fresh, home cooked and totally delicious!! The chef came to speak to us. He and his wife have been running this place for years, so nice to meet him. He is clearly proud of his food and he is right to be! Ordered a dessert. An authentic Greek orange and polenta sponge…..outstanding! The restaurant by the time we asked for the bill was full and buzzing. Friends complemented me on my choice of restaurant, I’m just sorry I hadn’t discovered this before now. Cannot recommend highly enough. I will be back definitely. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Went there with my girlfriend and we were delighted. Warm welcome from the owner who cooks delicious food. 100% fresh products were used, and the desert... something at another level.

We popped in here when on a visit to Chichester for no other reason than we're going to Santorini for our holidays this year. But the food was absolutely amazing! (you must have the homemade Santorini dessert!) Authentice, fresh, tasty. And the service was brilliant and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

This is my third visit to Santorini’s and it never disappoints. Thee service is excellent. The atmosphere is excellent! The food is superb! Only thing I’d change is a bit more bread with the Tzatziki starter. You get a large amount of tzatziki but not much bread to put it on. The taste is amazing! Highly recommend!

What a comforting experience. My wife and I dined at Santorini on a cold Sunday evening but received a warm welcome and served some truly authentic, home-cooked Greek food. The chicken souvlaki was fabulous and the wine took me back to my time in Greece. Great attentive service and delicious food!

My main dish was not cooked evenly. A new one was made and I wasn't charged for it.

Birthday treat for me, wanted to go here for a while. Did not disappoint. Small but full of charm, run by a greek family with receipes being handed down by generations. This is reflected in the delicious home made food. Will be returning and recommending.

Very rude over the phone. Refusal to accept anything other than cash, awkward around moving times and tone was not good, and when I said I’d cancel they said great and slammed the phone down. Take your cash ana your business elsewhere.

I went to Santorini with 4 of my friends and we had a generally nice time. The food was good; we had halloumi wraps which are a bit like fast food but still done well, plenty of halloumi and tzatziki! The service wasn't fantastic, we were a bit rushed and they seemed annoyed that we hadn't looked at the drinks menu when we had only just sat down! Overall the food was good, reasonable prices but the service needs work.

Superb! Absolutely perfect! We could almost hear the goats on the hillside and the cicadas in the myrtle. We had several of the sharing dishes which were delicious, especially the spicy sausage and the honey & sesame feta cheese. Staff were lovely. Prices very fair. Thank you, Santorini!

We went here for an anniversary dinner however we didn't get through the door as there was a sign saying "cash only". Very poor and disappointing so ended up eating elsewhere.

Little tasty Greek restaurant in South Street, Chichester

My wife and I visited here for lunch at around 12.50pm and found ourselves to be the only customers in the restaurant, which we felt was a little odd as we are in the middle of Glorious Goodwood Week and other pubs and eateries had been crammed earlier. However we had wanted to try the food here for ages and decided that it was time we did. We were greeted by the young waiter and led to the table of our choice, the menus arrived promptly and we ordered our meals. My wife ordered Greek Salad with Feta to start followed with Chicken Gyros for her main. I ordered Calamari followed with Keftedes, small meat patties with fries and salad. The starters arrived in about 5 minutes, the Greek salad looked and tasted delicious but the calamari was very basically presented with a pot of lemon mayonnaise and a lemon wedge. I felt that it was overcooked, which gave it a rubbery texture, however it tasted good. The main courses arrived about 5 minutes after we had finished the starters and were very nicely presented, but were both spoiled by the use of "burger chain" style skinny catering fries, whereas some freshly sautéed potatoes would have been much nicer in my opinion. The chicken gyros was very dry with a leathery texture but the accompanying salad was lovely. My keftedes were delicious, as was my salad, it was just the skinny fries that let the entire meal down. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. Altogether a bit of a disappointment. And my wife also had a slightly upset stomach a few hours later, although this may have been due to another cause. I took no photos on this occasion as l was quite honestly underwhelmed by the experience. I also felt that it was a little expensive for a light lunch for two.
