Santorini in Chichester

Excellent restaurant. 6 of us enjoyed a most delicious meal here last night. The service was good and the food was very tasty and authentic. I can highly recommend the feta saganaki starter. Everything was reasonably priced and we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a lovely evening! 5 star 🌟

I went to eat there today, I ordered the ribs and I can hand on hart say that this is the only decent place to eat in chichester, the ribs are so soft and melt in your mouth, I asked the owner when he got the meat and he looked at me and said today and you know I belive him, they tasted so fresh and very well seasoned, not covered in salt like other places. If you have not eaten here I'm telling you try it one time and you will not regret it, I will definitely be coming back

The best place l have ever been

We went with 4 friends and I had the Lamb Kleftiko. The meal was awful . It was fatty and the stock was greasy and slimy , tasted awful . The rice was tasteless . The potatoes were scalding hot ( too long in the microwave ) . Not worth the price tag . I left half it , as it made me feel sick . Very disappointed , and won’t be returning .

My wife & I decided to come here for a pre holiday meal to Rhodes, I can honestly say the food was amazing lots of flavours, hot & well presented, staff very friendly & cannot praise our waiter Umut for taking care of us. We will definitely be back after our holiday .would recommend this place to everyone

Booked for 11 people. One could not attend due to illness. They withheld £5 of her deposit (on a £200+ bill). An absolute disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

My partner and I visited Santorini for the first time this evening and we were blown away! Both the service and the food were 10/10. Generous portions, delicious authentic food, and the staff were really kind and attentive. This is our new favourite restaurant! We will definitely be visiting again. Amazing Greek food, really authentic and fresh, such friendly and attentive staff, the manager especially was extremely kind and welcoming. The chicken gyros and souvlaki are the best I’ve ever had, served with super fresh crispy chips and amazing fresh salad and tzatziki.

Me and my husband went tonight for my birthday, had never been but had been recommended by many friends and family. The interior was very inviting and pretty and made you feel you were in Greece. Staff r incredibly friendly and kind The food was absolutely out of this world, the tastes were so delicious and nothing was greasy or had fat in it, it was so so good! I wanted to eat it all but we were so full! The prices were okay as well for a 3 course meal with 2 ppl and this included a drink for both of us was only £33 each I fully recommend the cake Santorini as well it was so so yummy! Recommended by I think the owner of restaurant I would a million percent recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back soon!!

Came here for the £14.99 3 course lunch special . Stuffed vine leaves followed by vegetable moussaka then baklava. Food fantastic. Highly recommended. Good service

We have been to the restaurant tonight for dinner and we were so disappointed. All the sauces for the starters were like supermarket style not homemade. The pitta bread was not cooked and really soft. The halloumi starter it was only 3 slices for nearly £10. We ordered the main, a mixed grilled nearly £25 the meat was dried, the cucumber and the tomatoes were just hanging on the plate with the chips. There was no LOVE on cooking showing from the chef on the plates. The all bill was £70 and we didn’t full up, the only positive thing was the colours of the restaurants. Other then that I am sorry but there is a no return.

Have had better food at Santorinis but all was ok until the bill was presented when we were told due to a new payment system only 2 could pay by card the rest needed to pay cash?? There were 9 of us! Who carries that kind of cash these days? Sounded very odd!! Also the charge for beer was listed as 4.95 and charged At 5.95. What a shame 9 lost customers.

Grupo de 9 . La mayoría estaban contentos con su comida, yo tenía carne stifada que tenía muy poca carne aunque el entrante y el postre eran buenos. Servicio de mesa muy bueno. Había reservado con antelación nuestro pedido de comida y pagado un depósito. Imagina nuestra sorpresa cuando no solo cobraron 1 £ más por cerveza de lo anunciado en el menú, sino que también afirmaron que solo dos tarjetas de débito podrían ser aceptadas como pago por reserva. Cuando nos desafiaron nos dijeron que el sistema se estropeó después de dos (lo hubiera creído si fuera uno, pero si se necesitan dos, me sorprende que no se necesitan más)! Cuatro de nosotros tuvimos que salir del restaurante para ir a un cajero automático. Extraña manera de tratar a los clientes y principalmente la razón por la que ha perdido nuestra costumbre. Todas las oportunidades estaban allí para aconsejar un problema antes de la comida, un número de teléfono de contacto y mientras estábamos sentados.

Nos alojamos en Chichester para una boda y reservamos Santorini el día anterior después de ver fotos de Trip Advisor de ella. Parecía atractivo y vaya que sí. Ambiente encantador, personal amable y comida fabulosa. Tuvimos Gambas calientes halloumi y hummus para compartir como entrantes, luego OH tenía stifado de ternera y arroz y yo tenía patatas fritas de souvlaki de pollo y ensalada junto con pan plano y yogur más una botella de vino tinto griego a buen precio (Alejandro Magno). Woukd vamos de nuevo. -Sí. Si viviéramos más cerca sería una visita regular allí Gracias a todos en Santorini por un tiempo fabuloso xx

Subimos al tren de Emsworth a Chichester para encontrar un lugar agradable para el almuerzo, acabando de regresar de 2 semanas de viaje y encontramos Santorini Restaurant a través de Trip Advisor. Este es un lugar encantador! Decoración, personal, comida excelente. Servicio muy atento y nuestra comida era genial. ¡Estaba muy contento de abordar el Santorini Special! Sin duda volveremos pronto y ya hemos hablado con amigos sobre Santorini. Gracias a todos por una experiencia encantadora.

What a fantastic place. The lunch menu at £14.95 for three courses is an absolute steal. The food is excellent - had feta in filo pastry to start and lamb souvlaki. Beautifully cooked and so tasty. Highly recommended.

We went here for dinner after having spent the day in Chichester. Tracked it down by looking for restaurants in Chichester that weren't part of a chain. Had been a while since we had eaten a Greek meal. We were not disappointed. Set in a former house it didn't feel crowded with two levels of seating. Food was good and service was excellent. I didn't like the photos of the food on the menu. Made it feel like you were on a Greek holiday restaurant. Maybe that was the plan. One down for some will be access to the restaurant. There are steps outside which means it isn't suitable for wheelchairs and may be difficult if you have walking problems. Has left me wishing we had Greek restaurant near where we live.

On Sunday I was in the restaurant with my 2 daughters and my wife and we had a very good lunch,the food was very nice and fresh,very good size of portions,the staff was very friendly,and atmosphere was nice and pleasant.I recommend that place I had a great meal.Thank you

For the price, i was expecting better quality food. It was like a stew i would make in a slow cooker if I was hanging and couldnt really be bothsred. Thr orange cake was really nice. The delivery driver was pleasant.

Myself and my Family and a few friends come over to Santorini Restaurant for an evening dinner and it was really good! Been at this placecouple of times and i have to say it’s been brilliant, the service the food and atmosphere. Such an amazing family that’s running the business had a chat with the owner and his son they were lovely and welcoming. We had a chat about their business journey since last year and they are really happy to serve people with a massive smile on their faces. i would highly recommend this place to everyone that wants to have really good time and food, I have to include their cake santorini it’s the best dessert i’ve ever had. Disappointing. On arrival I asked for lime and soda. Was asked is that the same as tonic. Then told we have lime slices. In the end I said I’ll have orange squash and lemonade. I ordered Stifado for my main course. I was annoyed that my meal cost £17 and all it was was a few bits of shrivelled up beef in a tin of tomatoes. It was served with a side of rice. Not what I’m used to in the places I’ve been to in Greece. I’ve been to Athens, Olympia, Crete, Skiathos, Mykonos, Cyprus, Santorini and of course many times to Corfu. This is how they cook it. Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 2.5 hours Serves: 4 people • 4 tablespoons olive oil • 1kg/2.2lbs. wagyu gravy, chuck or brisket beef • 6 cloves • 1 cinnamon stick • 1/2 teaspoon allspice • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg • 3 bay leaves • 500g/1.1lbs small or pearl onions, peeled but kept whole • 500g/1.1lbs medium potatoes, peeled (I used Royal Blue potatoes) • 4 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced • 4 cherry tomatoes or 1 tomato • 500ml/17flozs. beef stock • 185ml/6flozs. white or red wine • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar • 2 tablespoons tomato paste • Sugar, salt and pepper for seasoning The photo is what is should look like. Won’t be going back there.

Lovely, authentic Greek food and wine. Fabulous moussaka, excellent lamb souvlaki, and a wonderful orange pudding. Well worth returning to., would thoroughly recommend.

Food was pretty good, but really disappointed with false advertisement. We walked in seeing their lunch menu posters on their door, ordered what we saw there but ended up being charged a lot more as we “didn’t order from the lunch menu”. Our menus when we sat didn’t include the same posters from the door. Also charged for ketchup. Just felt disappointed that the restaurant is not straightforward with their pricing.

Our visit this time only two werks ago, was disappointing. The Kleftico was a lamb stew with rice. Not what was expected. I was surprised we could order on arrival as previously it was served on the bone and we had to give 24hrs notice. The moussaka was soggy. We won't go back. It's a shame as on our previous visit everything was lovely.

The food was very good, the meat was grilled to perfection and delicious. For me, there was a lack of salads and more sauces. The room should be ventilated. Overall, the food was very good, I recommend it :)

Even though this restaurant is already popular, I still have to say that the food here is perfect and authentic, exactly like the food I ate in Greece. Their chips are not frozen chips, the lamb is fresh and the salad vinegar is authentic. And also we really enjoyed considerate service and a clean environment as well.

Can't believe I've only just found this place. All day English breakfast 8 pounds fifty. Proper lovely. Highly recommended. Great staff, great service, good food. 👍

I had a three course Greek meal; spicy sausage as starters, kleftico for mains and orange cake desert not for getting Greek coffee. First class food at a reasonable price, we visited for my step daughters birthday, the service was good and atmosphere superb no blaring music in the background

Amazing place for dinner! The servers are so friendly and recommend dishes. We had the Lamb Souvlaki, Pork Souvlaki and the Salmon and it was wonderful. Cooked over charcoal grills for lovely, tender meat. Saving the best for last, the Cake Santorini is out of this world. Will deffo be returning!

Visited with my daughter and enjoyed the most wonderful meal of feta and olives, chicken gyros, moussaka, baklava and cake Santorini. We had a warm welcome and were looked after all evening. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable and the staff friendly. Will definitely go again.

Food ok, not to my taste though but no fault of the restuarant. Service would be 5 star except the owner cleared our table just after he had had a cigarette and the smell was overpowering. Drinks very expensive, £5 for a small bottle of beer. I did try to contact the restaurant to raise my complaint especially about the cigarette smell but I have had no reply.

Cold soggy chips the rest was ok ish won’t buy again last time I ordered this it was superb but was delivered by a driver in a car this was delivered dy someone on a bike who has probably had to do other deliveries on route with outside temps of 2 degrees

On entering we received a nwarm welcome. Pretty room (perhaps turning the dimmer switch on lights would make more cosy.) Tzatziki lovely creamy and tasty. Main courses disappointing. I was looking forward to big fat juicy tendrils of Octopus and got two tiny pieces. For £17.95 It was more like a starter portion. Might as well have had two king prawns! My friends lamb dish looked great, moist, plentiful and melt in the mouth but lacked flavour. Service was good and it is pretty little place but if the upplier cannot provide good ingredients take the dish off the menu.

BEWARE - Portions are really small. Spent £50 on a takeaway to feed myself partner and child. The portion of Octoous was a single small tentacle, the portion of sausage was a singular sausage. Taramasalata was a good portion, but only 4 small pieces of flat bread. Shall not be ordering from here again. Taste was good, don't get me wrong, but overall disappointed with the meager portions.

A very welcoming warm place. My family and I were travelling through Chichester, and after a cancelled train, we needed something to eat. It was quite late at this point and we have two children (2&4) who were refused at other restaurants close by. The service was amazing considering we were tired and frustrated after an earlier plane journey. Food was quick and the kids enjoyed the attention to detail the waiter gave them. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. I go there often with friends and family and never had a bad meal. The service is amazing too!

We dined here for my husbands birthday and brought our 5.5month old baby. The owner was super friendly and very accommodating especially when our baby got a little bit upset due to teething. Feed was delicious too would definitely recommend!
