Weird place, didn't feel welcome at all. When we went in there the man looked at me as if to say what are you doing here ? We had a cup of tea while deciding whether to eat or not, then decided not. I saw a couple next to us - the only other people in the place - do exactly the same. It's a shame because it's a perfect location for us, but this is not the first time this has happened.

Very high quality ingredients, generous portions. Full English breakfast has gamey sausages and the other ingredients are all bursting with flavour too. For a lighter bite the sandwiches are excellent, mixed Italian ham and sun-dried tomatoes are especially recommended.

This is a gem of a place only popped in coffee ☕️ but ended up having the best sandwich I’ve had in a decade! The menu is limited but their specials looked amazing fresh with an Italian 🇮🇹 theme well worth a visit and you can even pick up some pasta or other deli items. Their commutation on line was also quick I got a reply within the hour. Dog friendly inside a bonus for me 🤩 oh and the 🥕 cake was delicious also !

Some of the best coffee I have ever drank, we purposely go past this cafe when going for walks just to stop in and grab a coffee there or to go. Has a nice little suntrap at the front which we have made use of during the summer months. Such a shame we live so far away as I would make this place a daily stop!

Was not great, I had a cheese and tomato chutney sandwich which just had massive blocks of cheese in it, in my opinion I did not like that, and the owner was a bit unfreindly. Also was very expensive

Just had lunch at Cafe. Lovely homemade soup, great value, very welcoming place. Definitely recommend if you want good food.

Had takeaway, the service was excellent. Best black americarno I've had for ages. Had Victoria Sponge which was fantastic. Hazelnut cannoli highly recommended 👌

Food was excellent. By the side of the main road through the village but not too noisy. Directly opposite the village green for a walk.

Stopped for a Sunday morning snack. Bacon sandwiches were excellent and the bread very fresh. Tea and coffee were spot on. Very pleased we ate there. Definitely recommend that you try this place.

Good coffee'n'snacks although no seating at the moment - but plenty of seats on the Green opposite.

A real delicatessen with incredible quality foods. Everything I have had from here is of the finest quality and the staff are very friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

Stopped for a snack and had a brie, onion chutney and tomato sandwich, it was deliscious. Menu was not extensive but gave breakfast options before 11.00 am and food on toast or sandwiches hot or toasted after that time. I think this is also an Italian deli as well and there is fruit and veg sold outside. There is parking off road in front of the shop and public toilets across the road.

I love this place. Very friendly owner who really makes you feel welcome. Seating both inside and outside for a light snack, breakfast or a full meal. The meatballs are superb an absolute must have for the passing motorist. I often sit outside in spring and summer and let the day slip by.

Lovely cosy cafe with attractive outside seating terrace boasting wonderful views over the village green. Sampled their tea for two and Pistachio Cake and it was rather good. Delightful setting.

This is a true Italian cafe that serves awesome coffee (l am still buzzing) which also does great food which is all reasonably priced. Indoors has about 8 tables and about the same outdoors. Takeaway is available and the service is generally quick and the staff are friendly. Disabled access could be a problem depending on mobility so please check before visiting.

Lovely location with a bit of parking nearby. Small interior with just a few tables. Beautiful outside space out front. Excellent coffee. Big looking breakfasts though mainly bread and tomatoes (see photos) but the salmon, bacon and sausages were lovely. A bit pricey at 20.80 for the two breakfast plates without the coffees.

Food was terribly greasy and disgusting. Ordered hot water and was charged £1.70 for it. Dark inside cafe on sunny day. Miserable and unwelcoming staff. Feel like I’ve just had a greasy regrettable McDonald’s at twice the price .

Best coffee in West Sussex and delicious Italian pastries. Small inside for winter but plenty of space on terrace for warmer days. No toilets on premises, so use village conveniences forty metres away.

I've stopped here 2-3 times now as its convenient on the way home from Crowborough to Salisbury. There's always a friendly welcome, the coffee is excellent and the food delicious. I'll be back again!

Great fresh food lovely atmosphere

Nice little cafe. Don't usually eat here as its a little too close to home. Occasionally have a milkshake and a brownie with my daughter. Edit Been back for lunch. Both the chicken and ribeye steak were delicious.
