I took my youngest son here for a dad son 23rd birthday Sunday buffet. We began in the White Swan and had the most amazing buffet meal in this amazing place. The food was amazing. The service excellent, the people very friendly and the ambiance just magic. We went on a recommendation from friends and will do the same. Lovely

Had a lovely Birthday buffet lunch, food was so tasty and a great choice of dishes. Ali was wonderful as ever makes you feel so welcome so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves and so friendly

Excellent lunch, with plenty of hot freshly cooked food

Food really not good at all. Bland and overcooked. Chicken tikka was a stir fry and chicken was totally dry and tasteless. Really disappointing. Will definitely not be getting a takeaway from here again.

Fabulous food! My friends were visiting from Dorset and said this was the best curry they had had for a very long time.

DO NOT ORDER, SCAMMERS! Only order if you like getting scammed. I used to be a regular here all the time, have no clue what’s happened to the place. One particular staff member was incredibly rude who worked over the phone, he was working around 8pm on Friday 8th march. We ordered an Indian and got home and half of the order was wrong. We called back and explained the situation, the person over the phone CATEGORICALLY stated that he could see that there was an error with our order. They then gave us a pathetic compensation which didn’t match the value to where they had ruined HALF the order. The guy over the phone then decided to deny any refund and I quote, “you’re not getting a refund buddy.” Then proceeded to hang the phone up. If you’re looking for an Indian with good service and better food, then please visit Westbourne as they are very friendly there.

Absolutely absurd quality of service I ordered a takeaway for a collection a whole main course got mucked up, the guy over the phone who was working around 6:30pm on Friday called back up to get a refund and told them what went wrong called me a liar as such “I’ve heard this all before” assuming I’m lying and said “your not getting your refund BUDDY” do not order from this place expect to get the wrong dish and get abused by the staff absolute mockery!

The Sunday buffet is at a very reasonable price and the food exceeded our expectations. The meat was tender and there were a variety of curry dishes and side starters to explore - some mild, some chilli hot. The lamb curry and onion bahgis were our favourites. The staff were helpful and enthusiastic.

Visited today for a buffet lunch. Lovely food, very nice staff and great value for money. We will visit again soon and will recommend friends

We thoroughly enjoyed the new Sunday buffet today at Memories of India, Bosham. On arrival, we were welcomed by the staff and there was a good choice of starters and mains which were regularly topped up. At just £13.95 per person it is excellent value and we look forward to going again soon. Thank you.

The worst Indian we’ve ever been to.. AVOID. Staff here are unbelievably rude - to the point they single out guests and continue to target them for “funny jokes”. Firstly only the men in our 10 group were asked what they wanted to drink. We had to request a further drinks order be taken to cover everyone else. Secondly our food order was then taken in the most bizarre way, suprise suprise, meaning that we were missing multiple dishes and had to request our orders be taken for items such as rice. Once the food finally did arrive, we were left with only the curry dishes for a good 5/10 minutes before any of the rice or side dishes ordered appeared. When we queried the missing dishes we’re were told they were only the table and the waiter even tried to go so far to tell us a keema naan was a garlic naan despite us ordering three and there clearly not being there. Finally the quality of the food was awful - a good number of our party refused to eat the dodgy substance served up as chicken, the rice was dry and undercooked, an the onion bhajis appeared to be battered (to the point a fish would be battered).. not a single dish could be recommended.. so overall this is the single worst place I have ever had the miss-pleasure of eating and I couldn’t and wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time and money eating here. Just to add a further update - a number of the group have also since been unwell within the past 24hrs since going to this establishment… like I said.. AVOID !!

We visited here for the first time after it was recommended to us. Soon after taking our drinks order, a large group came in, and despite the dining room being empty, they were sat on a table next to us. It was very obvious that the waiter was more interested in them as they received their drinks before us and I eventually had to ask for ours. The waiter came to our table to clear the plates despite the fact my wife was still eating. When it came to paying the bill, he said that the receipt didn't include a tip and how much would we like to add. When I suggested an amount he huffed in disgust. So great food abrupt and rude service

We had some great take-away from here the other night with only one issue - both our palak paneer and matar paneer had....not a single piece of paneer! I'm sure it must have been a mistake but what a shame. The butter chicken was yummy (though a bt too much on the sweet side) and the aloo gobi was really good, too. The garlic naan wasn't to my liking but otherwise a good experience.

First time in the area and decided to try the local Indian restaurant. We were pleased we did. Both of our curries (Jalfrazi and Dupiaza) tasted great. So did the coconut rice, garlic naan and sagaloo potatoes, best sagaloo I ever had as had plenty spinach in, not only potatoes as most Indian places cook it. Onion Badjis were also great, big and crispy on the outside. Overall great experience and won’t hesitate to go there again! Keep up the good standard, please 🙌🏼

First time we've used this restaurant, we ordered a takeaway online and it was great. It was ready on time. The food tasted really good and will definitely use again.

It has always been the best Indian cuisine anywhere. A must for any lover of Indian/Bengali cuisine.

There were 11 of us and we had limited time for our meal. The service was excellent, quick and efficient.

The food was delicious i have come here a few times but the service was excellent! I loved the way muhammed communicates and brings joy made the experience well enjoying - how could i not leave a tip! The food was great as always well thanks to the chef!

It was nice we had a very nice very quickly served meal. We had to pinch knives and forks for our main meal from another table when we couldn't get anyone's attention . A typical Indian restaurant.

A fantastic Indian with delicious food and amazing service!

Came for a birthday meal with 9 others, all staff were polite, service quick even though though they were busy. All food came out the same time and it all tasted delicious. No complaints from anyone. Plenty of menu choice and servers were very attentive and checking in on us. Great nice, comfy chairs.

One of the best Indian restaurants we’ve come across, really tasty dishes and plenty of spice. Prompt service whether dining in or take-away.

Nice takeaway, but it was starting to get cold by the time we got home to Fishbourne.

Went for the first time a few weekends ago and the food was lovely! Some slightly different recipes from the normal. Very pleasant

The staff here are all really nice and attentive. The curry wasn’t bad, it had a really nice kick but not overwhelming. The naan let my meal down as it was a little bit doughy. I would still visit again though.

Chicken pakora = dry (overcooked), breaded chicken with no flavouring or seasoning. Jhinga buhari = overcooked prawns (x4) with a watery, sweet gravy. Seemed like it might have been a defrosted base sauce plus some honey. Not good food

Takeaway not the best, not normally what we would expect from memories

Had a lovely meal here tonight for hubby’s birthday. Great choice menu, very friendly staff, great service and a lovely atmosphere. It’s our first time to eat here always used the take away service and the menu choice and food has always been excellent. We shall definitely visit again. Well worth a visit.

Visited twice last week. Superb choice and an extensive vegetarian selection. Both meals delicious. Forgot to ask about the NHS discount though! Highly recommend.

Visited this restaurant today and had an excellent lunch and as we are vegetarian we were delighted to see the wide range of vegetarian options. The food was really good and Ana who served and took care of us was welcoming and proficient. We will definitely be eating there again.

Avoid this place at all cost the food is rubbish they try to rip you off you will be better get the microwave curry out of the co-op because most of their food is microwaved anyway

Always great food and service here. Onion bhajis are lovely and crispy and can recommend King Prawn dishes. Generous with the prawns. Was very busy so worth booking at weekends.

Awful curry the chicken was hard and gristly the sauce was extremely watery and the staff are rude, there was one young man who was nice and welcoming however the whole vibe got put down when a man was handing us our food and started coughing over it and didn't even say sorry or wash his hands before reserving us

Disappointing takeaway service, food not up to standard expected

Ordered our take away using the online booking page and found very easy so surprised after picking up order and getting home to find 1 curry missing from order. Called restaurant immediately to be told I had only ordered 2 curries!! Once I explained I had the receipt proof of order was offered a curry “next time” which as being here on holiday was turned down and asked to honour the missing curry. A 10 minute drive later not an apology or partial refund offer just a container of curry, once home disappointed to find 7 pieces of Chicken in a very watery Tikka sauce which went in the bin along with the partial eaten remains of the other meals. We chose this restaurant in a sea of curry restaurants in the area as the reviews are very good so very disappointed that we have been let down and left finding another restaurant to order from and £33 out of pocket literally leaving a bad taste all round. This may be an isolated incident but the lack of apology and poor food means only 1 star from me.

It was my birthday and decided to have an Indian meal. On arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff. HARI and Ifi were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with the choice of food and drink. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Meal was delicious. Definitely be going back.

Got a takeaway from here today. Apart form forgetting one starter and slightly stale poppadoms (often an issue early evening order on Monday), the rest of the food was good. Ordering online was straightforward and menu had lots of choices.

Best restaurant in area by a mile for value and quality. Cannot recommend highly enough and am quite happy to drive 9 miles to collect a takeaway. Even ordered frozen bhindi when they ran out of fresh so we could have a side dish we wanted. Would not go anywhere else.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The staff are attentive, helpful, and efficient. The food is brilliant - well presented, delicious, and well proportioned. The entrance is just off a roundabout, a huge car park in the front of the restaurant is usually quite busy with take away pick ups but never struggled to park. The building is large with plenty of tables, but it does get busy so would advise booking at peak times. It's not overpriced but it's not cheap. Lovely meal, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Went there for the first time this evening with my wife and had a chicken Madras white boiled plain rice and a plain narrn bread each and I have to say in all the years if had a Madras this is the best one I've ever had lovely and tasty we will defiantly go back again soon

I went out with my husband for a meal at this place tonight for the first time. It was by far the best tastiest curry I've ever eaten and the food was served piping hot. This was our first meal there and definitely not the last

Words cannot do this place justice. It is by far the best tasting curry I've ever had. The Sunday buffet is an amazing gastronomical delight at a fair price. Definitely need to wear expandable clothing. The atmosphere is inviting and cosy. Staff are friendly and tentative.

Brilliant food, great service. Huge menu and, since I've been several times, each different dish was cooked to perfection. Service was very good - attentive without being pushy. Great location with ample parking. Does get busy so would advise booking if visit during expected busy times. 10/10 would recommend, and visit there frequently.
