03 July 18:30pm Went to Costa on Newport Road and orders a salted caramel frappe with Oat milk. The barista was so lovely she advised the frappe could potentially have dairy products to some of the additions and couldn’t guarantee dairy free drink. She was so lovely and ended up suggesting an alternative drink which was even better and refreshing. She went above and beyond to meet my expectations. She deserves a thank you. This was a lovely experience and l would definitely be coming back.

Love their food, we live out of the delivery area now but still drive for collection as the food is so delicious!!

Friendly and polite delivery driver. The jalfrezi was lovely with plenty of chicken in it.

Ordered through Food Hub. Even though the ETA said 60 mins, food came in 20 (we do live just around the corner though!). Everything was piping hot and fresh, and tasted delicious. Especially liked the sweet and sour sauce which verged more on the sour side than sweet - just how I like it! We even got an extra spring roll and a free bag of prawn crackers. Will definitely be eating from here again, loved it. Thank you!

So, I had to log in under another account to review the restaurant again in such a short time. Apparently, you can only pick on, sorry, review, a restaurant once a month!! Anyway, here you are…. The second half of the saga… And here we are back in the place of expectations. I must be a glutton for punishment, good job I’m not glutton intolerant. Well, this time it was ‘Beer battered fish and chips’ Best meal I’ve had here I must give credit where it’s due. But…… Firstly, false advertising because I got fish n fries not fish and chips. Most of which were hidden by the fish to make way for the two humongous pots and lemon. We’ll get to them individually. So, I missed a bit off the menu title just for this paragraph. The full title is as follows… BEER BATTERED FISH & CHIPS Mushy Peas, Goodbye Sauce - £17.50. Ok, but I bet you’re all thinking the same thing. What the hell is ‘Goodbye’ sauce? Well, I’ll tell you… Mushy peas… now, when the pot of sauce is bigger than the pot of mushy peas we have a serious problem don’t you think? Humongous was probably overdoing it somewhat. At least the peas turned up this time although in short supply. On another review of this place, they weren’t even allowed out the tin! Then we get to the lemon, what can I say. I reckon it’s seen some action behind the bar last weekend before it made it to the kitchen and then my plate 😳. The fish was perfect! That made this the best dish of my visits so far! Thank you and I look forward to the next unexpected experience next time I’m in. Oh by the way, for those still in anticipation, ‘goodbye’ sauce? It’s tartare sauce. Just call it tartare sauce you plums !!

the best chinese ive ever had! ordered 5 minutes before they closed without realising (thought it was midnight im v sorry) and had to ask for an egg removal, and they were so helpful and kind :) everything was absolutely perfect and i cant wait to order again (a bit earlier this time) thank u all <333

I have been ordering from Golden House for several years via Just Eat, the last 3 times I've tried to order on that platform you have not confirmed the order despite being online and I've had to have my money refunded. Tried to phone several times to ask what was going on and the phone line is inactive. Do not advertise yourself as being online if you are not!!! It's a waste of your customers time!

Food was OK but definately not worth the prices on the menu. The staff were mostly young kids who weren't really interested in being there and more interested in messing about behind the bar and going on their phones than asking if we'd like a drink. I had to go upto the bar and order. However Kacie the girl who served us in the end was very pleasant and far more professional than the younger lads. Not for me I won't be back!

Really friendly and polite staff. We had two Seekh Kebab, a Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, a Chicken Tikka Makhani, two Keema Rice, one Garlic Naan and one Keema Naan. Really delicious food and it lasts for about two to three days, so it is perfect for not having to worry about cooking.

We had a home delivery. The food was fantastic. No complaints from this old boy. Thank you for a nice affordable meal. We will definitely come again

My wife and I went to the Sherman Theatre last night to see - Odyssey ‘84 (very good). When we came out at 10:30pm we were starving and were looking for a good fish & chip supper. I checked on Google Maps and found Clifton Fish Bar about 10 mins away in the car, so we went there. Turned out to be a great decision. I got a very warm welcome, all the staff were lovely - with some good banter too! Our fish was cooked fresh and my wife and I honestly thought it was the best fish & chips we’d had for years.
