Spice Fusion in Cardiff

I don’t usually bother leaving reviews, but Spice Fusion? Nah, they’ve earned this one proper. Grabbed a takeaway for three and honestly, I was shocked—in the best way. Under £50 and the portions were mad generous. We were eating good that night and still had leftovers for the next day. Every single dish slapped. You know when everything on the table is just moving in sync? Flavours were layered, bold, and on point from start to finish. That chilli cheese naan? Different. But real talk—there weren’t any weak links. Everything held its weight. If you’re after proper Indian food that delivers on quality, portions, and price—this is it. No hype, just facts. I’ll definitely be back.

New management is brilliant, can really tell the difference. Ordered from here a few times and they’ve been spot on each time 👌 Food arrived fresh, tasty and on time! 10/10 authentic, classic Indian takeaway dishes. My go to’s biryani, jalfrezi and chicken tikka masala chips made on special request. Will be exploring some of their British dishes in our next order.

One of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a long time! The spicy chips and chicken tikka biryani were absolutely delicious, the naan bread was soft and full of flavor, and the papadoms were a real treat. I’ve had many Indian meals over the years, but this one truly stood out. Highly recommended!

Really high-quality food. The bangers and mash were scrumptious. The lads loved it. Not only that, but also the biriyani was so good and the meat was so juicy and tender. I highly recommend going here, best Indian restaurant in Cardiff by a mile!

I ordered a chicken jalfrezi, lamb madras, chicken tikka biryani, special biryani, keema naan & plain naan. It came with a variety of sauces and sides. The curries were full of flavour and the meat/chicken was so tender. The biryani had the perfect balance of spice, rice was fluffy and chicken was cooked to perfection. Sauces, salads and sides were 10/10. Naan was soft too. They put a lot of love and effort into their dishes. It’s the perfect place to get your weekly takeaways. Highly recommend. If you don’t try this, you’re missing out.

I decided to give this place a try since it’s under new management and was newly opening, and I’m so glad I did. Spice Fusion is a true hidden gem, offering top quality Indian takeaway. I ordered on the app which was straightforward. The menu strikes a perfect balance between tradition and modern creativity. I ordered the butter chicken, jalfrezi, and chicken tikka biryani and a chicken tikka wrap, each dish was packed with incredible flavour. The malai butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, the biryani was beautifully fragrant. The garlic naan could have used a bit more garlic butter, but aside from that, it was fluffy and incredibly moreish. What impressed me most was their willingness to go the extra mile and accommodate a special request for a dish not on the menu. Not only did they make it, but it was absolutely delicious! To top it off, they even threw in a complimentary starter as part of their opening offer, which was a great touch. Beyond the amazing food, the service was warm and welcoming. The waiting area was cosy, spotless, and inviting, which made the experience even better. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and can’t wait to order again! If you’re looking for high quality Indian food, this place is a must-try.

Called the restaurant when my order was 15 minutes late,was told another order came in so my order was delayed,only got one microwave.received an updated delivery time plus a message from just eat saying the money back I asked for would not be credited but they would add something free off the menu,2 poppadoms,cheers lads bet it killed ya throwing them in.the chicken pakoras should be renamed chicken twiglets,however…. The chicken madras and rice were nice in all fairness

I Waited over an hour for the food. It needed to be heated up when it arrived. Will not be eating here again unless there is compensation. Also the app won’t let me submit how long we were delayed for hence I am saying it on here

Food is alright but very expensive for what you get. Order was late and driver kept hammering the door giving me less that half a second to open it.

Just received a delivery. The food is not good at all. Rice is dry. The kebabs are dreadful. Chicken tikka is dry and tastless. The Shakora curry is full of oil. The samosas are straight out of a frozen packet... overall pretty dreadful and really disappointing as we had been looking forward to a really nice curry. This is not one.

Over 3 hours late with absolutely no contact from the restaurant, I called to ask why my delivery was showing up as 'delivered' only to be told I'm sorry its been busy it's on the way. Busy is an hour delay at max 3 hours is too far. Avoid if you value your money, not exactly a hard order to make either. It's currently 20:54 with still no food, I placed the order at 18:50.

My order was allegedly delivered after the time it was supposed to have been delivered. On enquiring about my order was I then told that my order was on its way. The only saving grace is that when the food eventually arrived it was tasty and a good portion.

Always order from spice fusion and food is always decent! Ordered tonight and my poppadoms were missing rang and let them know problem and they apologised and said they will tell the driver to bring them out. I only live literally a 2 minute drive away but the poppadoms took 20 minutes to come and by that time my food was finished. There wasn’t any extra poppadoms or anything bear in mind I spent over £40 and the long wait for them! Don’t think I will be ordering now again unfortunately!

The food is good, really tasty. But the delivery was late and if you're tired and hungry, it doesn't help your impression of the restaurant

First time ordering here and wasn't disappointed. No problem with the order, delivery was on time and was very happy with the quality of food. Had the korma and tikka passanda, which both were gorgeous and I loved the bhajis. Will definitely order here again :)

Nice food delivery was late called me to tell me sorry and it will be 20 minutes I had to call them 45 minutes later to find out if it is being delivered 10 minutes later was delivered so took about 2 hours said give me something free for inconvenience gave me a cherry tomato slice of lemon and a little lettuce. Will never orda from again

Food containers were not labelled. Chicken was tough. Poppadoms very greasy, A very disappointing meal - most of it went in the bin. Not up to Spice Fusion’s normal standard at all.

The food was delivered late, but the store did call to warn me and apologise and they also added some free chicken nuggets to my order to say sorry, because they knew from my notes that I had a toddler with me

The food as always is fantastic! The Lamb is the best I’ve had in Cardiff by a mile. My only gripe on this occasion is I ordered the naan breads and they were about half the size as normal. They still taste good and we’re hot but just on the small side. Keema and normal naan. Don’t let this put you off though. Very rarely order from anywhere else and there is a reason why. They always get 6/6 but a 5/6 tonight for the small naans.

Me and some friends order food, worst food ever. I called restaurant and they are not providing details of the owner and we need refund for our food as one of our friend fell sick after eating the food.

Worst food I have ever tried, me and my friends order food from this store, biggest money waste, chicken was not fresh, aloo chat is filled with oil and it was not even authentic indian chat, stop misguiding people, biryani is super dry and taste weird. Only item that was good was can of Sprite, DONT ORDER FROM THIS STORE.

First time ordering with Spice Fusion and was not disappointed. Ordered the food for collection and it was brought out to me quickly. All the food was amazing, and had the cheesiest naan ever!

Don't use this takeaway. It never turned up after 2.5 hours and multiple calls, and now they won't refund us for food that we never received because they insist that their driver delivered it to a different apartment in our building. Absolute joke, fobbed us off multiple times when we called to resolve the issue. Avoid at all costs

I tried this place given the reviews. I wasn't expecting much as I already have a fav Indian that happened to be closed. However, this was sooo good. Now my new fav!! Food arrived super early which was fine but sometimes I order food when I'm on way home so potential for the food to have got to my house before I had. Would recommend Spice Fusion. Very tasty and reasonably priced.

First Time ordered. Was 25 minutes late with no acknowledgement or notification. The food arrived slightly warm with soggy chips which were inedible, a chicken tikka wrap with no salad and was tastless and what was meant to be a honey chicken rice box which arrived with chunks of lemon in it and all you could taste was lemon - not what i ordered. Very poor experience which was a shame after reading other positive reviews.

Delicious order with generous servings. Arrived hot. Was only 5 minutes late and I know it’s not so simple for Indian cuisine to be cooked fast (without forgoing quality) so I was perfectly fine with this. Reasonable prices, definitely recommend!

Chicken tikka Marsala was disgusting. Chicken in a can of tomato sauce. Biggest waste of money Iv ever spent. Inedible.

We were really happy with the food and service. Although the food was late, it came very hot. The restaurant also called us in advance to let us know it would be late which made all the difference. They were very apologetic for it being late and it was understandable as these things sometimes happen. Great service, keep it up. The food tasted amazing!! We will definitely come back :)
