Love their food, we live out of the delivery area now but still drive for collection as the food is so delicious!!

Beautiful takeaway arrived early will definitely order from here again 5 star.

Amazing food, great value. Delivery to local area took 1h 15h when they estimated 45mins. Ordered at 6:30 so expected to be delayed but don’t expect quick delivery.

Crispy shredded beef 10/10 Special fried rice 10/10 Chicken balls with Chips, noodles and separate curry sauce 9/10 Extra curry sauce 8/10 Excellent meal, very good value. Tastes clean, arrived hot and fast from friendly delivery man. Loads of meat in special fried rice, crispy shredded beef is one of the best I've ever had. Curry is a little sweet for my liking but I do like it very hot, don't get me wrong the curry is still very nice and I bet some would think it was spicy. Will definitely order again when I'm working in the area.

Easy to order, food always cooked as requested, and delivered before the expected timeframe. So refreshing to finally have a reliable Chinese takeaway to order from.

Ordered a meat based rice dish and had half an Amazon rainforest in there no mention of this on the menu either that being said once I discarded the volatile forest of vegetables the rice and the meat were lovely however the chicken left me very confused as it had the texture of tofu and fell apart in an unlike chicken way.

Great vegetarian food and they'll tailor your dish to suit you, just ask.

Everything I have ordered from this Chinese has been lovely. I am really particular. The chef takes care and attention to what he/she serves.

Thought about trying out the Super Chinese Kitchen last night, and was so glad I did! Crispy fried beef, duck chow mein and special fried rice were all super delicious, and the staff were very courteous. Reasonably priced and not too long of a wait.

Waited 1 hour & 24 minutes for our food. We rang at 7:20pm and the woman on the phone said that the food had just left.. (we waited another 24 minutes despite it being 6 minutes down the road). We ordered Salt & Pepper chips to have Salt & Chilli chips delivered which were so spicy they were inedible. I rang them & explained they’d sent the wrong item and she said “that’s how people like them. Some people like them hot. They’re different to what our menu says” I replied that they should change their description on the menu then. She said she’d send salt & pepper chips but a further 30 minute wait. The pots of sauce served with the Mixed Starters were also so small! Food greasy & cold. Will not be ordering again and I urge people to steer clear.

Nope! Ordered through deliveroo. Honestly, grim. Took 2 hrs to arrive and was warm The "Szechwan" prawns we mostly bamboo shoots and really watery with absolutely no flavour or a hint of spice. The hot and sour soup had pork when the menu said seafood, so couldn't eat it. the salt a pepper prawns made no mention of gluten on the menu but cam in tasteless soggy batter, so couldn't eat them and the "crab meat" and selweetcorn soup was completely tasteless and contain no crab meat. When I phoned to complain the lady who I spoke to could not have cared any less. Absolutely no chance of a refund, most of it went in the bin. Total waste of £30.

Ordered from here as usual place was shut. Great food and great sized portions. Did wait 55 minutes for delivery, but was warned about this upon placing the order. The curry sauce does look a bit of a strange colour but tastes great. Fried rice and chow mein not greasy, and sweet and sour chicken perfect.

Zero stars! Ordered at 17.05, called restaurant at 18.10 as still not arrived. Called at 18.35 and had the cheek to ask us to wait another 10 mins until they could get food out to us after waiting an hour and half. Cancelled the order. Won't be ordering again!

Order was over an hour late. No apology from the driver, food was cold and restaurant refused to give any money back towards a the order. Dreadful.

Food was delicious, best Chinese we've had since living in Cardiff. I wish a pot of satay sauce was an option on the website menu because it tasted amazing! It did take a while for the order to be confirmed by the restaurant but it was worth the wait.

Best Chinese in the city. Love the place and it never disappoints. Guy who runs it is super nice too.

Haven’t ordered in nearly a year however used to always be our go to, still as delicious as before. Portion sizes were generous which is even more appreciated in the current costs of living, however I guess rises in price almost balance out. Thankyou guys and once again look forward to ordering another :)

Always order from here and yet to have a bad meal, do beautiful southern fried chicken for free when order a certain amount, great service. Just had my order and so disappointed. The whole meal was bland and tasteless. Don't know if they have changed the cook but it was one of the worst meals I've had from any Chinese. It was awful. I've always used this takeaway and the meals have always been lovely so I'm not sure what's going on. The curry sauce was tasteless, not like it used to be. Won't use again.

Has this place recently changed hands? Food was bland! Absolutely no taste. Ordered special chow mein. 3 little slices of meat and about 20 beansprouts.

Ordered from here last night for the first time. We ordered pork spring rolls, chicken and sweetcorn soup, special fried rice, beef with green peppers and black bean sauce and a crispy chilli beef. Everything was cooked to perfection will definitely order again. The delivery was so quick I was shocked when I heard the door knock and the delivery driver was very polite. Will definitely order again in the future and look forward to trying other dishes. Thank you 😊👍🏼

Authentic and delicious. That is how I would sum up my experience at Super Chinese Kitchen. I was craving something flavourful and hearty to remind me of my time travelling through East Asia. This was spot on. Just what I needed.

Visited Cardiff and while walking...the aroma of the food being cooked pulled me in this lovely place. I went in to check the menu and been welcomed nicely. I had Beef with Black bean sauce with noodles... It felt like heaven..now I believe in heaven. I had to come back on the same day for my dinner. It definitely help me enjoy touring Cardiff even more. Highly recommended 10/10 Major Major Go!

Rice noodles here are AMAZING. Good cuisine overal 👌🏻 would recommend eating here if you have the chance.

They have some of the best meals I have had in my life. The rice is always good. The chicken balls are allways cooked to perfection and I have yet to find a better curry sauce. It is still my go too Chinese restaurant.

Very disappointed. I have been ordering from Super Chinese Kitchen for the past 6 years. The food is very good, but unfortunately the service from the girl taking the orders is not. I placed an order and when I called to say that I received some other type of food and not my original order, she acted like I was crazy and didn't know what I ordered. She didn't own up to her mistake and tried to put the blame on me when reporting to the owner. I can say that I will not be ordering from SCK again.

Absolutely horrible food!!don't buy from here the "satay" sauce had no peanut sauce!it was extremely watery gravy really dry noodles spring rolls were cold with no filling so disappointed especially being Christmas £22 wasted ..... please don't waste your money in this place it's vile.

I've ordered before quite a few times but since new management, they're all over the place ordered a set meal for 2 come to nearly 20 quid, gave them 25, turns up no prawn crackers, called 3 times and the guy kept me on the phone for 15 mins to check receipt, address, phone number, lol then says well send some out to you, still waiting, going to call back now 4th time in an hour, I mean come on it's just crackers and you can't even sort that out on 2 attempts, I won't be using these ever again, gone completely down hill, sorry it's so poor

Delivery over an hour late , when I told them I wasn’t very happy and would inform just eat , they refused to hand over the food on our doorstep, after we had already paid for the food and delivery !!!! . Such bad service, won’t be going here again , and Just Eat weren’t that helpful on phone either .

We had Been with super Chinese a few months and we had a bad meal that delivered the wrong meal and was promised a freebie on next order. This order we had no freebie and the food was absolutely awful especially the curry it was like water. The delivery driver kept expecting me to come down stairs in my apartment block when I pay delivery charge to have it delivered to my door I complained about this on a few occasions and nothing was done as he kept doing it. We have since been using a different Chinese takeaway.

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called to say items were missing, the man on the phone was extremely rude. Shouting & abusive on the call. Refused to bring items that were missing. Will never order again.

ok if you have a prawn allergy they keep forgetting not to put prawns in which is quite dangerous. I have asked them on two occasions not to put prawns in but they seem to keep talking but they keep putting them in the food.

I have had chinese from here a couple of times over the last 2-3 months, since the new owners and every time the food has been hot and tasty and is a reasonably price for a Chinese. Will definitely be having it again ☺

worst chinese ive ever had, luke warm and stale tasting curry sauce, defo not using again - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

One star on the basis that one time it was nice order second time came was not Luke warm was cold like it came out a fridge lol no lie shocked rung up to complain said could send out another but after already waiting and being told it be another 40 mins again till new food come just thought I would do what they was guna do with food in first place and microwaved it never again shame first time was nice #consistency is key #lookaftercustomers !
