Banging once again, and glad to know they've brought cash payment back! We were sat upstairs, served by a lovely lady. Didn't catch her name but she was a credit to your business 👏🏼 we ate roughly around 1/2pm. There was a small queue with about 5 sets of people, we waited less than 10 minutes to be seated. Food came quickly after ordering. Will be back!

Emma was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We were 4 adults and a baby, and we needed a baby chair. Emma located us a table, and she cleaned and set up the table for us whereby she could just ask one of her colleagues to do so, but she attended this herself knowing we got a child with us. I enjoyed the food. Didn't wait too long. however my partners food was cold. I explained his burger was cold. I had to explain myself to two servers and (I assume) the manager. The manager was very skeptical, saying it's one of the first meals out and maybe the sauce made it cold. They remade the meal and it was warm the second time around even with the sauce. never experienced anything like it. He had only had one bite before returning, it was not like we were after more food. it was more of an inconvenience waiting again, I don't know why they would think we would make up that it was cold. it was very very uncomfortable experience.

We went at 9.20 and by this time they almost closed everything although they close at 10. They Removed the lid of all the sauce bottles for closing and when asked I was told they can’t give it. I just need to use it as it is. Tables were dirty and we were asked to sit in the outside tables in cold. It seems they basically wanted to get rid of us because they want led to finish their store closing work before it’s time to close

We were served by the fantastic Ash, she made out night feel so special and was super attentive! The food was amazing, and the staff were super quick to resolve an issue! Thank for the great night :)

And took our plates away, bro I still had my 4wings left, I got stunned by that time plates were gone.. this guy needs to chill!

I have tried other branches of Nando's, and it was really good; however, today's food at the st. Davis branch was cold and seemed to not be fresh. We mentioned this to the staff, and they took the mash potato and changed it for us, but by the time they returned it, we were done with our meal.

Nando’s in St David’s has always been a great experience. The food here is always warm and tasty and the staff are friendly. The restaurant has multiple floors with nice balcony tables

I love Nandos, on holiday in Cardiff and needed to fill my craving for spicy chicken so came here. Being served Nandos by a pretty lady with a welsh accent and a smile made it even sweeter.

My first time to Nandos..Not sure of all the hype. Food was mediocre at best. The restaurant was freezing when I expected it to me warm and welcoming especially considering we were sitting farthest away from the door! Friendly staff and friendly service.

Chicken a bit over cook and char, overall ok.

The food is OK but the service was poor - just a few teenagers bringing things to the table. The glass screens were sticky and dirty, as was the table. Ordering had to be done either via an app or at the desk. The food was fine but the rest could do with some improvement.

Best restaurant by miles. Food was so incredible that I died but don’t worry. They gave me xx hot sauce and resurrected me. I loved their food. There was a seagul who tried to take my food but I 360 no scoped that bird. The water was absolutely incredibly supertasticly amazingly wow. I cried. 5 star. My brother died from heat but I didn’t.

Mi pareja y yo rara vez tenemos tiempo de calidad juntos entre tener hijos pequeños y trabajar a tiempo completo. En esta ocasión estábamos sentados entre muchos otros a pesar de que el local estaba menos de la mitad lleno a la 1. 30 pm. Había escombros en mi silla que tuve que quitar antes de sentarme. Decidimos mudarnos y como no había visual de los miembros del equipo y había muchas mesas disponibles. Poco después de movernos y sin saludarnos nuestra conversación fue interrumpida abruptamente por la anfitriona con actitud. “Les digo para referencia futura cuando los sentemos que no pueden levantarse y moverse a donde quieran”. Sin preguntarnos por qué nos habíamos trasladado a mí y a mi socio, que somos gerentes de área de grandes hoteles y restaurantes con amplia experiencia en gestión general, nunca hemos experimentado un comportamiento tan denigrante en un entorno que somos muy conocidos. Le explicamos que necesita trabajar en su redacción porque fue muy grosero y poco acogedor. Dijo que no lo hizo y que no hicimos nada malo. Bueno, si ese es el caso, por qué mencionarlo aparte de querer hacernos sentir incómodos. Si el restaurante hubiera estado casi lleno o ella había estado cerca habríamos mencionado que queríamos mudarnos. Luego le expliqué que estaba tranquilo por qué era un gran problema que ella dijo que a veces puede estar ocupado en ese momento. Mi punto era ni de lejos ocupado muy innecesario y simplemente absolutamente NO algo que se diría a un huésped de esta manera. Si tuvieras una reserva y un choque de mesa, explicarías esto a un huésped muy amablemente como el razonamiento de que no se puede mover. Honestamente estábamos tan boquiabiertos que ella pensó que esto estaba bien que solo nos lleva a pensar que está acostumbrada a hablar a la gente de esta manera. Esta es la diferencia entre los miembros del equipo que progresan a roles gerenciales más altos y no lo hacen. El servicio al cliente es la vanguardia del negocio que sentimos que ella quería argumentar que no había necesidad de acercarse a nosotros de esta manera. Estábamos tan molestos que nos fuimos recibidos con sarcasmo a la salida. Entendemos que el negocio de la hospitalidad puede ser difícil, pero no reconocer cuando decimos que no apreciamos que nos hablen de esa manera es pésimo. Claramente tuvo satisfacción por hacer esto hasta el punto de que nos sentimos tan mal que ya no queríamos estar allí. La razón por la que tuvimos un día libre raro fue porque recientemente había sufrido un aborto espontáneo y necesitaba un día de tiempo de calidad con mi pareja.

We ordered the Butterfly Chicken, which is the most popular meal, with salted fries as a side and nuts as a starter. It was super tasty; I've never eaten such a delicious chicken breast before. Thanks, Nando's, for providing us with such a great memory.

So, this is not a negative experience, but I just walked away feeling empty tbh. The food was cooked well, it is what I feel to be too expensive for what you get however.

Nando's Cardiff St David's is a fantastic place to dine! The food is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Their peri-peri sauce is truly amazing and adds the perfect kick to every dish. The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. It's my go-to spot for a tasty and satisfying meal in St David's Shopping Centre.

Nandos is such a convenient and nice place. The portions are huge, the price is not expensive, the food comes very quickly, and the staff are extremely friendly and patient. This specific place was quite clean and was like any other Nandos.

Collected an order here after work. Very friendly service and order ready on time. They had forgotten the butter with the pitta (not unusual) and I had to ask for it but they did go and get some and offered cutlery and sauce.

Always burn the chicken, always forget some side dishes, always forget starters, always forget sauces and drinks you pay for. We order almost every week hoping our order is correct and now we’ll just stop because there isn’t enough intelligence working there to read an order and put it in a bag. Tonight we spent £54 and all we had was a chicken breast and chicken thighs delivered. How hard can it be to put a food item inside a bag, if they’re out of stock a phone call and refund would make a difference.

My first visit friendly welcome by staff was shown how to order where to get drinks chicken was very good I had to ask for replacement chips as we're cold not acptoblem

Not one of our best trips to a Nando’s. Due to us both being NHS staff, we needed to order our food separately. Despite the orders being made at the same time, my meal came out 30min before my wife’s. We tried to find out what was happening and was reluctantly ‘helped’ by a member of staff who just said “It’ll be out when it’s ready” and walked off. Another member of staff was a lot more apologetic, polite and helpful when she came along and managed to chase up the food. Both meals were both warm, but not hot. The taste was thankfully redeeming though as it was as tasty as usual - just had to be eaten alone! I’m sure another visit on another day may have been different, but as this is not our usual, local restaurant I can only review what I experienced on the day.

Horrible service, missing whole chicken whith delivery

Lara is an absolute credit to Nando. I arrived on an extremely busy Saturday night for a take out. I hadn't pre-ordered and wanted to use a Xmas gift card for payment. Little did I realise that the gift card process is a very complicated one but Lara took time to assist me in sorting out the purchase. She was polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Lara really appreciated.

We went there on Wednesday arount 1pm ,we ordered full platter comes with chicken and 4 sides the half chick was cold and half was hot .when we try to complain about food, they said we can’t change it we are nandos customers from last 8 years we went to nandos multiple times when ever we had problems the manager solved it but the cardiff branch there staff was rude and they were lying that they are manager and later they said store manager is not here today , the staff was unnecessarily rude👎👎 because of this behaviour you are losing your costumers ,and they ruined our day .

Am I just too old for Nando’s ? Asked to pay before you order . Terrible toilets , dirty no toilet paper. Ordered a wrap I could have got at Boots for a meal deal . Asked for no spice - got a piri ( chilli ? ) mayo . Wine served in a can ? Why is there Nando ?

Very helpful with allergies, I've got coeliac disease, they didnt have anything purposely gluten free but they made sure to be extremely careful when cooking and handling my food. Thoroughly enjoyed my food and didn't have any reaction afterwards

I've faithfully patronised Nando's St David's Cardiff for more than 2 years, but my recent purchase included a corn that had long exceeded its shelf life. When I raised the issue at the store, the staff displayed no remorse and failed to offer an apology for their subpar customer service. To make matters worse, they insisted on launching an investigation for a solitary corn mishap. I'd have received a more reasonable response from Siri! I'm steering clear of Nando's from now on; their staff should definitely hone in on their interpersonal skills. SHOCKING!!!!!

Note this Nandos is on the first floor inside the St Davids shopping centre. The address on Google was incorrect which I have asked to be amended. Took 15 minutes to get a table but worth the wait. Recommend placing your order while you wait in the queue and just add the table number when you get seated. Friendly service with a "hands off " approach as is usual with Nandos. Tables and seats could have been a little cleaner. Order at table via the web. Recommend using their WiFi as 4g is painfully slow. Starters were served quickly but incorrectly, remedied fast though. Vegan mayo was not great which we found odd for a chicken restaurant. Mains served quickly, but waitress missed one order which we had to chase. Really tasty and good portion size and good value for money. Staff excellent.

We were disappointed to find hair in my partners wrap she had eaten 3/4 of one half of her wrap we brought this to the attention of a 'manager' who just said 'hairs do happen sorry' no offer of a replacement or a genuine apology.

I went for a solo lunch and when I went to get my drink refill the waiter, who had walked past several times and noticed I was on my own, piled my plate with rubbish and took my plate. There was half my meal left and I left my cutlery rested on the side of the plate, clearly nit finished. The manager offered a partial refund and didn't seem bothered about the awful service or the fact that everyone else around me was talking about me. Terrible service Nandos!!!!!!!

Visited the restaurant today to cheer my son up after a week at hospital. The place was welcoming clean and ran like a dream. We were seated upstairs and the staff were happy and productive even the manager 🫶🏽 mucked in!! I picked him out and I had to say to him about it. Iovane, Dylan were amazing team players and efficient. The girl who took my order holly was lush aswell. Can see they have good management. Definitely my BEST ever Nandos experience the food was tastier than ever tonight too. Dont know what was different but something defo!!! Thanks Nandos !! Xxx

Visited today spent over 65.00 on 4 small meals, my chicken and chips were awful, freezing chips and dry hard chicken, terrible food sadly

was here for an HOUR and 2 people still hadn’t received their food when speaking to staff about the wait they made us out to be liars and didn’t even apologise… we didn’t get any check backs and the workers kept hovering around us… the mac and cheese was cold and lifeless but the spiced grains are really nice. didn’t make us feel welcomed and instead made us feel like we were a bit of money. couldn’t wait to get us out although there were 2 staff members who were nice. did not appreciate how i was treated there

This Nandos is ok. The lady on Host was very good. I sat outside of Nando’s and the internet didn’t work as they want you to order though your phone so I had to go inside to order. I ordered my favourite Sunset Burger. I remember telling the guy on the till no ‘red chutney and no lettuce and it was in my burger, when I asked the other guy for extra cheese it was so much to ask for. I didn’t eat all my burger as it had lettuce in. The garlic bread was horrible and the chips were not nice either

The perfect location if you are on a diet! Portions were somewhat smaller than other Nandos I frequent. I opted for the chicken thighs with the medium sauce accompanied by corn on the cob and spicy rice. The chicken thighs were perhaps replaced with budgie thighs judging by the size of them, and the corn didn't come with butter! The rice was totally fine though. Once the butter was applied, the taste of the food was fine, but just lacking size and condiments. A very Cheeky Nandos indeed!

Visited here on Wednesday last week The app was down on arrival but we were told by the manager on arrival. The service from the manager and staff was excellent. Very helpful and informative. The manager gave us a discount for the issue with the App and till system. The food was tasty

I've always loved Nandos. Extra hot double chicken burger. But if you are not into hot you can still have the "plainish". A good children's menu aswell. Refillable drinks and desserts. Great service and great food. It can get a little busy but the staff manage it really well. Top marks.

I visited Nando’s in Cardiff for some dinner before a show, I ordered via the app, when my food arrived it was not right, I ordered a plain 1/4 chicken and it came out “hot”. The manager (with tattooed arms, tall, glasses) took my food back, after around 5 minutes I asked him how long it would be, he replied with a negative attitude, I explained I didn’t want to be sat eating alone, my husband had already had his food delivered, I asked if he could “try to hurry it up please” and his response was “no” before he walked off. This is unacceptable conduct. He returned with my food and proceeded to challenge me on the way I spoke to him!!! The manager said he felt he didn’t deserve to be spoken to like “that”, completely confused by this interaction as he was in fact the one that spoke to me (the customer) in perhaps the rudest way I have ever been spoken to by a manager in a restaurant before. I told the manager that I would be making a complaint, he didn’t seem to care and simply shrugged this off. I explained that I am the customer and I don’t appreciate being treated like this. The manager continued to emphasise how “wronged” he was and in the end I had to ask him to leave the table and leave us alone. The manager than stormed off muttering under his breath. I am completely appalled, shocked, and disappointed. I am a Nando’s fanatic but this has left me feeling completely disrespected and it has ruined my night. I didn’t expect this from a Nando’s, Nando’s have always been of a high standard. I’m so disappointed. I know you have millions of customers so unlikely anyone will care but I would hope you take this further to avoid this happening again. As someone who has worked in hospitality I know that loyal, returning customers is what makes a restaurant successful, sadly I will not return to this Nando’s. I suggest a people management course for this manager or alternatively… a new job!

We had a gift voucher so we went. Served right away - no wait (8pm on a Saturday). First time there. Was okay, it’s chicken and chips. We had sweet potato wedges for starter which were nice. I had a grilled chicken burger chips and garden bread. Was okay but about taste less. Garlic bread was yummy. Partner had a flatbread with chicken peri fries and peas. Peas were nice, we also had creamy mash which was yummy! Dessert was a cheese cake and ice cream which for me was the best part!!! 3/5 - staff were fantastic, food was okay and quick but nothing to write home about, toilets were dirty and looked very in polished (grouting etc)

*review about customer service* We just came to order Full plater to take away.reception service handled by a lady ( it's mentioned her name in Bill) We were first time trying Nandoos and while ordering sides we got confused but she didn't give the proper guidance and we felt like insulting us from her few words talk and face expressions. it's not the way to treat the customer,the customer may be Knowledgeable or unknowable about the dishes. sorry

Chicken was extremely chargrilled, to the extent where it just tasted burnt. Haven’t been in a Nando’s for a while but never had this issue in another Nando’s before. We didn’t like the QR codes which made the order process slower rather than quicker. No-one checked back to see if our food was OK either (appreciate it’s Nando’s, but still). Also there were some lovely cobwebs within eyeshot of our seating 😬 Toilets also very grotty and need of a good scrub. Wetherspoons is much much cleaner!
