its a very nice friendly pub. the manager is a lovely, friendly women . the beer is lovely and reasonable prices . would highly recommend

Lovely pub Lovely staff. It's a shame we have to move to another pub to watch the football as they don't have any sport's channels.

Not the pub it used to be, needs a new manager to sort out the pub. To many stop ons and alco management leading to annti social behaviour ,and there are a better choice of pubs in the area. I used to use the pub 2 to 3 times a week, no more, manager and partner toxic drunks. The Royal Oak is a better alternative to this pub. Avoid if you want a quiet pint, if you want drugs or anything shoplifted see the landlady!

good beers, friendly staff and customers are quite entertaining. Relaxed atmosphere in the lounge, bit more lively in the bar.

I travel all round the country with work and usual have a curry once a week, in the last 12 years that's a lot of different restaurants tried. The last year's been a lot of take aways. This place has got to be in the top 5. It's difficult to judge properly eating it as a takeaway but the food was authentic and delicious. Back in Cardiff next month and already know where I'm heading for food. Thank you guys

Very rich curries, seems the owner maintaining quality. I tried few months ago before the lockdown, and tried yesterday. Consistent in quality. Great food, Lamb bhuna was spot on. Easily recommend to anyone

We tried this place judging by the reviews however the quality of food was very poor!!, I barely leave reviews but on this occasion I was extremely disappointed. We ordered £40-50 worth of food, the chips were stale and tasted sour which tells me they were gone off. The keema naan had next to no keema in it might aswell had been a plain nan. The curries were swimming in oil. The lamb was very tough we would've needed a steak knife to cut into it if we had continued to eat it. Our biryani container looked like a mini aquarium where it was full of water from the mushrooms. I understand we ordered around 10pm but clearly it was rushed. The best part of the meal last night was the coke bottle which was cold as confirmed over the phone. I wont be ordering again unless I'm after a coke bottle for £2.25.

Arrived on time. But we were very let down by the quality of food considering they are not the cheapest compared to other Indian restaurants. The curry was that greasy we couldn’t even eat it! I wish I could post pictures to Just to show you how bad it was 🤢 The onion bhajis were dry and tasteless like they were processed and bought in bulk, 100% not homemade / fresh. Unfortunately we will not be ordering again! Very disappointed after seeing some really good reviews. It makes me wonder if these outstanding reviews are actually real or if the people posting these reviews have ever had proper decent curry before. I’ve had to send my partner down to the local chippy as we are starving!

The most best Indian ever tasted! Cooked to perfection. Not too spicy either. Quite expensive but so worth it.

Did an Uber Eats order the other day and I must say the food was amazing. Full of flavour and authentic. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for I guess. I will most definitely shop again.

Lovely food, reasonably priced and delivered at time requested. We ordered 4 different curries and various sides and they were all delicious. Highly recommended.

Absolutely worst Indian takeaway in cardiff they forget half the order and sometimes don't even send the order out. I have waited numerous times for my food only to ring them and find out they haven't sent it or prepared it. Will hands down never order from this place again and i recommend anyone else does unless you want them to forget everything.

Grameen Juboraj has always been the best curry take away for me and I’ve sampled every one in Cardiff :). The food is always delicious, the staff are very professional. I can’t recommend them enough, thanks guys 👍🏻

Ordered twice now and the food is really tasty but both times have now been missing parts of our order. Called them this time and I was told it will be with us in 1 hour. Not what you expect when your two orders come over 60 pounds

Saw it had bad reviews so thought I’d say I’ve only ever had great experiences here. Only used it since it was taken over by Juboraj but can’t fault it. Food is delicious and consistent, their paneer makhani and Keema rice are especially good. Friendly service too and never had a problem with wrong dishes. Only Indian I order from would highly recommend :)

We ordered a delivery here on just eat. After ordering 1 chicken curry, 1egg fried rice, and 1chips, 1 nann bread it came to £17. Pricy for what it was. Delivery came earlier than the time stated which came before my partner got home from a work meeting. Chips were rubbery, hockey curry wasn’t great, one of the worst tasting egg fried rice I’ve tasted and the kema nann didn’t have any meat in there. Delivery driver was friendly, took about 10 minutes on the door to find change. Wouldn’t order from here again personally

Can't comment on the delivery service as I live a two minute walk away - I've ordered from here a good few times now, and the food is delicious, with quite a few slightly more unusual dishes on the menu. Very polite and friendly manager, impeccably clean.

The restaurant didn’t deliver some of the order so called them up and they sent the missing items right away - including some freebies! Super delicious... Amazing service and amazing food!

takeaway, 6 out of 8 dishes wrong. The chicken was rubbery. Rang and complained, requesting a refund, totally disinterested. well over 50% of the order went in the bin.

Just ordered food for 4 people from here as we are in work tonight. Had loads of curries from here but this ranks with the worse meal ever. wrong food delivered very little chicken in the curries . Two of the curries were wrong as wel as all the startersl. Upon ringing the restaurant and complaining we were told they have been taken over by the Juboraj group and no longer serve the starters or the curries we ordered. If that was the case why did he take our order ? One simple reason just for the money !!!!!!! There are 25 of us in work and no one will ever use this takeaway again. Staff weren't interested when we rang and kept saying we gave you plenty of extra's when all they actually gave us was 8 broken poppadoms.......... and to make things worse the driver then forgot our 4 cans of pop. But he did refund us £2 lol. What a joke of a restaurant. i warn everyone not to use this takeaway ever Only given a 1 star as not allowed to give a zero

Chicken Dupiaza was sort of bland, way too greasy. Naan bread was wet for some reason but onion bhajee and mint sauce was amazing.

Will not be ordering from here again! Used to get great food from here. Last night it was me and my partners 4 year anniversary. The food took 2 hours to be delivered and was 45 minute later than expected. Unable to contact restaurant as phone was disconnected. The food was lukewarm and so salty we could barely eat it. No apologies given by staff either when delivered or when I called to complain. Really dissapointed.

First time trying Grameen Juboraj since moving to Cardiff, and my girlfriend and I have already decided we're definitely ordering from here again. The vegetable dhansak, in particular, was so good. Highly recommend.

£45 on the worst meal we have ever had! Korma sauce was like water, medium and madras curries had no difference in taste, chicken was hard and chewy, and the poppodoms were stale. Will never order from them again!

I've been coming here since it first opened and have loved it ever since, from when I walked past the shop and you could smell how lovely the food was, I thought I'd definitely have to try here one day. I get a takeaway every now and then but I should get it more regularly really, the curries are very tasty along with generous amounts of chicken. Their pilau rice is lovely and unique and I love keema naan bread which they do also. If there's one criticism it's that there wasn't much meat in the keema naan bread last time, but that hasn't always been the case, so hopefully there's more next time 😜🤣 Deliveries have always been pretty good, but I guess it always depends on the driver. However I'd strongly recommend this place and will be ordering again very soon! 👍🏻

Usually when ordered from here I have always been satisfied. However when ordering from here last time I was not impressed. The starter was soggy and the prawn cocktail was watery. So watery that it was thrown in the bin. The onion bajees were rock solid and again they went in the bin. The main was ok but again nothing near to the standard that Iv had before. Overal disappointing as Iv had lovely food from here in the past. Not good enough though as it doesn’t come cheap to put the majority of it in the bin!

The most disgusting dish I ever had, very oily, and the chicken was not properly cooked, I've ordered a can of pepsi and I received coke bumped without sparkle. Very disappointed!!!

I have been to a few weddings that jubo raj has catered for and i have to say I am very disappointed with the food . It is always too spicy . It's ok for the grown up but the children and non asian people cannot eat it because it's too hot . Have at least 1 dish that is mild. Not everyone like extremly spicy food

The food here is lovely. I always go for the chicken tikka jalfrazi and lamb tikka koria. And recently I had the king prawn spinach with plain rice and papadoms. This is a feast fit for a king. Writing about it is making me feel a bit hungry.

The food was ready quickly. Portion size is really good. It wasn't oily and was full of flavour. The staff were very polite and proper.

This is the best place in Cardiff for a vegetarian curry. I often struggle to find great vegetarian food as many places have limited options, but Clifton Spice hit the nail on the head. I always get the veggie set meal and it never disappoints!

New Indian Take way got a menu through the door so decided to give it a try was not disappointed the food was fresh tasty great use of spices . I could write about the flavours, the aroma of the spices and how your taste buds will savour each and every mouthful but you have got to go and try it for yourself. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic food, and reasonable in price. Would highly recommend.
