One of my many times at Friar Tucks, Newry. Seeing as I was in the mood for a takeaway I figured Friar Tucks would do nicely. There were some tables around if you wanted to sit in. Whilst walking up to the counter to make my order I couldn't help but notice that the floor was quite dirty and sticky. That generally seems to be the case in most takeaways. Anyways, I ordered my food and sat down while I waited. The food took a long time to be prepared which was a bummer as I was famished. In the end it came. Once arriving home I tucked in to one of the nicest Friar Tucks I'd had in a long time. Chips were well cooked and delicious. Burger was fantastic too. Decent place to go for a takeaway.

This has got to be the worst cafe experience I have ever had. On entering and sitting down I had to ask later if I could place an order as I was ignored up to that. On ordering I was told I had to pay in advance. From this it took 35 minutes before I got fed up and asked how much longer, the waitress who just looked like she was waiting for someone to complain so she could light on them, went down the back and rusted for everyone to hear "how much longer for table 3." I had to wait a further 10 minutes before the food arrived. 45 mins from order to eating, this was horrendous. The food itself was ok but the service was diabolical. Anyone with a few hours to waste go ahead other n that stay well clear. Never, ever again.

the most worst Chinese food what I ever eat. Couple years ago was my first visit I ordered mushroom soup. I was shocked it was Couple full mushrooms in a boiling water, nothing else 😂😂😂 Now I gave them second chance. It was big mistake. Spring rolls (meat) what kind of meat was? sausage? a little bit of everything what was left after yesterday. Main: duck. No words, only fat in some sauce. where is some salad? garnish? Only chips in chinese restaurant? we had to share ketchup with another table, because they have only one in all restaurant. No straw for kids drinks? Only lady who served us was helpful and nice.

Would give this place a thumbs down not only was the food portions awful half of the order was missing the chicken burger was something you would buy out of asdas frozen department. And what's up with adding a tax to your bill have we moved to America. Not worth the money especially now that eating out is expensive and a luxury now a days with the cost of living I suppose the tax on your bill has to cover the cost as of the refurbished I won't be going back as just terrible.

What a spot!!!! Wonderful charasmatic diner. From the decor to the music, the staff so helpful and friendly. Such a wholesome family feel to it. Generations of families going for a wee treat after school. My youngest had a children's icecream special, my oldest cheeseburger and chips with hot fudge Sunday. The food was fresh, the service was friendly and quick. The place was lovely and clean. Proper Italian ice cream tastes delicious. Will definetly be returning. Can’t believe they let dogs sit on the nice leather chairs. Went in and the first leather chair next to the till has a dog sleeping on it as I waited in the queue and staff made coffee. Other customers came in and sat where the dog had been sleeping minutes before.

I have had 2 lovely dishes one was a chicken fillet burger, the nicest ive ever had, and a battered cod, again it was really lovely with just a few chips, perfect

Andrea @ Romeos is a superb considerate kind and understanding lady! I had and issue with food I had ordered a while ago and I contacted Romeos and firstly was speaking with Laura who was also considerate and true to her word, when she said she would get the manager to call me directly! Andrea did call me and firstly was so apologetic and straight away rectified the situation. On recognising my issue she supplied me with delicious pizzas and garlic bread plus free delivery for my daughter’s 18th birthday on Friday night! Her customer service and community spirit for local people is exceptional.. it would be wonderful if big businesses would have the same customer service ethos that Andrea and the staff at Romeos do! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cold 25 mins plus wait after app said food was ready to collect. Wrong food given. Store was a mess staff had no idea what they were doing . And when you complain via email as it was so late in the evening and store was closed. you get told because you didn't call the store we can't help you. Food ended up in the bin and no refund. A complete joke of a company.
