Don't bother ordering anything you want. They'll get it wrong 100% of the time. Ya get what your given!

I don't really know where to begin with this experience. Just glad I didn't have any of the wee ones with me because it would of led to an argument. When we arrived there was no other customers there. Ordered our food, waited about 5 minutes another person arrived. He ordered and only waited a few minutes and was away with his food (order the same size as ours) whilst we waiting the amount of cursing, the fact of wanting to get out of there as quick as possible even though they were still open for another hour and clear lack of awareness for anyone coming in was amazing. Instead of focusing on cooking because the food was terrible, the staff were more focused on listening to the girl behind the counter go into depths about a fella she liked. In a way that you shouldn't really talk about in public. If the owner reads this and wants to know more. Feel free to contact and I'll go into depth. Although don't recommend and won't be back.

FRESH by name, and FRESH by nurture. Excellent food of the highest standard, superb value for money and excellent service.

The worst customer service! I walked into this chippy late afternoon on 3/7/24 and asked for a menu and the lovely lad behind the counter said sorry we don’t do menus so I proceeded to asked ‘do you do fresh squid boxes like a mixture of fish as one chippy in Lisburn does?’ To where the lady with blonde hair who was also working came up to us, tutted and mocked me to the young lad saying, ‘don’t listen to him- fried squid’, she then turned to me and blatantly asked in a judgemental tone ‘where are you from?’ As half Asian, I was completely astounded that anyone (never mind a staff member in an establishment) would ask this. I naturally became very uncomfortable- wondering why she would ask this. I said ‘no I am half Asian and Lisburn’, she then turned to the young lad and proceeded to say in a condescending tone ‘I don’t know anywhere that does fish selection boxes do you?’ I was standing there completely humiliated and the young lad replied yes, saying he had heard of people doing fish selection boxes Then, trying to make light of the situation I said- ‘Maybe next month you will have them new for your customers’ and she replied- “No I won’t be cooking anything but cod’ and walked away, leaving me standing there shocked at the way I was treated Before I got out the door I heard her say to the young lad “Is he away”? I am seriously not happy about this experience and still am in shock about how I was treated as a customer happily walking into an establishment and asking a question. I felt extremely belittled and embarrassed and I do not recommend! Horrific customer service and an awful experience that has left me shocked and horrified by how some people can treat others for just simply asking a question.

Soggy everything and gave me food poisoning needed to stay in bed for a day. Unhygienic too they make everything with their hands

Order was wrong and food was disgusting .

Always used to get our fish and chips here and no reason to complain because the fish and chips were lovely. Now the batter was soggy and the chips tasted hard and stale. Sorry but won't be using them again

Got a takeaway last night, found 2 pieces of hair in my curry chip, and also ordered chicken bites… the texture of the chicken was disgusting and it tasted horrible. Just grim, don’t get anything from here.

The 2 workers had mouths like sewers, order a fish supper and a fish, around £20 and was absolutely jiving, the both got put in the bin! Nothing "fresh" about this place

Burnt battered sausages. Incorrect items. And also missing food. Pure awful on every level. What an absolute waste of money and time

Got a fish supper ,pastie, an 2 cartons of curry sauce last night. On opening my food at home only one curry sauce, The fish was more like a fish finger size wise, not only that it was ovs heated up again as the batter was rock hard and the chips too. 15 pounds for what a pastie I'll never be back again fs.

Says it opens to ten pm. Got there at 9.50pm and they were already closed!

Didn't get my food and it's wasn't the first time do not go here

Asked for cheesy curry chips and curry sausage off just eat both came with out Burger also came with a long red hair on it wouldn't recommend the place

Got burger and chips here last week. Staff were lovely and polite. Food was good. But doss that door really need to be wide open, on a door stop on a November night? It's a waste of energy and it's freezing the staff and patrons . People can push and pull doors

This place is disgusting people are mad giving this place 5 stars and to think they won an award for best fish and chips probably worst chippy I’ve ever tasted used to be really nice before got took over by someone else, was pouring the curry out of a measuring jug card machine barely working and the chips tasted frozen so definitely not fresh

Worst chip shop take away ever !! 50 minute wait for sloppy chips, the smallest chicken fillet burger, rubbish gravy and a fillet chicken and chips that had a thigh and a wing !!! Definitely avoid.

30 mins wait and I type this now 90 mins later. Two phone calls where I was assured it’s “on the way” and still no sign. We ordered a Chinese for my sons six friends and a meal here for the other two. The Chinese arrived over 75 mins ago and is now burning in the oven. Absolute disgrace. Avoid at all costs. If their customer service matches their food - do yourself a favour and have a bowl of cereal!

Absolutely terrible fish dry and small..chips were awful ..charged 60p for a splash of tomato sauce...very unfriendly woman with blonde hair and nose ring pathetic all round !!! No stars from me !!!!!

Really rude women stumpy with brown hair has a nasty attitude I just walked out of the shop the chips aren’t the best but the burgers r really nice they didn’t have the inclination to charge me the right price the lady prob dips out of till in my opinion I wouldn’t hire such a nasty speaking lady in my opinion she didn’t look presentable looks like she was on drugs..

Must have cheese burger with fried onions and tomato relish, think the burger was a steak burger, tastes great. Nice chips, battered sausages as well. Good value for money.

Have not eaten out of here for nearly two years and decided to try it out today! What a terrible waste of money! Chips were absolutely terrible and the chicken gravy was the worst I have ever tasted. I feel that one star is far too much! Very very bad waste of money.

Not fussed on this place used to be fantastic but is now sloppy and overpriced. Fish was half the size it used to be and greasy also batter to heavy and to well done. Chips portions miserable for the prices they charge and for goodness sake, if people are coming in to sit at your few tables, give them proper plates and cutlery and cups/mugs not takeaway cartons and cups. Talking about cups!! Cup of tea, really!! A wee kiddie polystyrene cup, get a grip! You charge over the odds, a larger cup at a reasonable price would maybe bring us back.

I have to go from bangor to Dunmurry 3 times a week so call in to get lunch good food good portions good price friendly staff and cooked as required not sitting like a lot of places definitely recommend this place

Called in here this evening for a cod and chip. Very nice lady 😍 and the food was first class. Freshly cooked and a BIG helping. I even called back to complement them. The best I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be returning.

Ordered chicken burgers and was really disappointed with the size of them and as I've worked in chippys before I can tell they're getting at least 2 goujons and a fillet burger out of 1 fillet which is so miserable on the owner's

Fish seemed smallish for the price, but taste was great, and not too oily.

The worst chicken burger I've ever had. 3mm thick. Absolutely ridiculous. Go to KFC

Lovely food my son had pasties (pink pastie) not a lot of places still fo them, and the girl who served us.was really friendly will definitely go back for a fish as they looked lovely. Thanks again

I sent my husband and kids in with their dad, absolutely horrific,,bald drug addict who could hardly talk , cursing front chindren smelt of a brewery mm and extremely unprofessional. Eats eat eats comeback as soon baa I can PLEASE, there’s nothing fresh about anything he sells, cod, frozen chicken second needs organised chippy iiuuuggbnu

FRESH is delicious, fast and offers great customer service Their usage of fresh local ingredients justifys the price for me and the consistent high quality and great customer satisfaction keeps me coming back. If I ever had an issue with an order I know they'd sort it for me no hassle and the food quality is yet to disappoint for me.

Food was really nice! I quite enjoyed it :) will definitely be returning!

Paid a visit today and the members of staff were very nice and helpful, the food was fairly priced warm and quite delicious. The interior of the shop was really nice, big improvement over the previous design. Will be back :)
